We can't say much at this point but I'm pretty sure that City won't win it again. They need 1 bad game in knockout stage and they will be out. Going 2years without bad game it's really hard and City does not have legacy of Real M to do that.

I am happy that you know that injury can play a major role on the life of a player and a club in their performance. This is why it might be impossible for Man City to win it again next season even with the same players. We saw how injury crippled Man united performance and some other good clubs performance,which made it impossible for them to achieve their goal. @Marykeller, indeed Manchester City looks very good but that doesn't mean Manchester City can continuously win the Champions League title. I think it's way too early because summer transfers hasn't been made. Like for example the talks about Mbappe going to Madrid is something we are not sure about right now, Mbappe says he wants to stay for another year and then leave, PSG says they will sell him if he doesn't extend right away, which means that it is not going to be that easy to convince him to extend, and yet would be hard to sell him.

If Madrid somehow does get him, these odds would change drastically, like imagine how good they will be within one season, and I think I would put them above City without a doubt. Of course this isn't guaranteed, we are not sure, so we just need to wait for the summer to end before we can make any decision on who will win the next one.

It is a bit odd to see these odds already now. But anyway I'm not surprised to see Manchester City this much favourite for the title again. It isn't an easy task to get a back-to-back win in the Champions League. Real Madrid are the only team that have done it since 2000's - they won it 3 times in a row with Zidane's management. Before Real Madrid the last time this happened was in the 1988/1989 and 1989/1990 seasons - Milan. Manchester City will need to keep their mental really strong.

They haven't been showing an impressive performance in the Champions League finals they have qualified for. If they make it to this stage again next season then Guardiola will need to keep his players much more concentrated on playing an effective game.

Every season, of course, there are many surprises that we will see in the UCL, be it the defending champions defending the title or the challengers who are not seeded. This season belongs to Manchester city and it is not certain that they can maintain it next season even though they are still strong candidates. I think one of the things that amazed us this season was the decline in the performance of the Real Madrid team which other teams were able to take advantage of in winning the trophy.

I will say that most of the Manchester City players are mid and good and this is why many of them were able to avoid injuries, and they know how to play games without their opponent hitting them, the main players in the team know how to dodge bullets but even with their too carefulness, De Bruyne got injured at the end and couldn't play even half time in the Champions League, this is strategy helped them and I hope they can use the same tactics next season,

for now pep guardiola is the best coach in the world who is still active but the fight is not over and we cannot predict with certainty whether man icty will continue to be able to defend the UCL title in the following season.

In the world for Treble? I think he needs to win the world cup where players are not borrowed or bought with millions of dollars before you can say such, world cup doesn't need enough funding to lift this, its the raw talent and effort of individuals that win the world cup and those are the places we can praise players, teams and manager, not someone that can turn things around because of money invested.

Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester United though, they're yet to make quality additions to the squad. Even Inter Milan can come back next season to win, they did great just that they didn't have that killer player to open Manchester Citys defense. But anyways, we still have two months until the next Champions League kick's off.

UCL is the best competition for the best club determined through exceptional competition. League representatives who end up in 3rd or 4th place or playoff system. Yes but even if they are trying to strengthen their squad in order to be competitive in all competitions next season, other clubs are doing the same. It's about how the clubs manage to integrate new players into their system. Everyone thought that Chelsea should be top three easily only because of their transfers, but they haven't chosen wisely and didn't feel gaps that needed to be filled urgently. They just bought high profile names and hoped that it would work out.

Manchester City are considered one of the Champions League and Premier League favorites for next season.
