They are playing great football now and as such, they should be hyped based on that and not be judged on what happened several years  ago when all of the present squads were not present in the squad that Bayern Munich won that day in both legs of the champions league game. Arsenal are playing good football ever since from last season and that was what gave them the qualification to this round of the Champions league. Until the game is played, we shouldn’t underrate both teams, let them show us what they got in the field of play.

This is why I believe that we should be considering the situation to be a little bit different. I hope to see things changing, and Bayern getting better but I doubt that would be this late into the season, it will probably take some time to get this much better. Xabi Alonso would really make use of some good additions to strengthen the squad this summer. Because the Champions League arena is much tougher than the Bundesliga. If he wants to achieve the best they can there then this is a need for them.

Basically Bayer Leverkusen did not try to extend Xabi's contract but, in fact, Xabi himself has choose to stay one more season at Bayer Leverkusen. I have really positive expectations from Arsenal. Because while I really like Arteta's Arsenal this season I can't say the same for Tuchel's Bayern Munich. Tuchel has officially stated as well that the title race in the Bundesliga is over for them from now on. It is good that he has finally realized that. Dortmund had to beat them to make him say that. 

Arsenal didn't lose to Manchester City today again. They are doing everything they can to be the champions in the EPL. I didn't like their effort against Porto maybe but I think it won't be the same against Bayern Munich too. Arsenal really have a chance in this stage.
