PSG lost 3-2 to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final first leg match between Barcelona vs PSG. Raphinha's two early goals for Barcelona essentially put Barcelona well ahead of PSG. Mbappe failed to score for PSG, basically PSG fell far behind in that place. Expectations were high for PSG this season in the Champions League but they fell short in the first leg against Barcelona. PSG's first leg loss to Barcelona means that the next match is easy for Barcelona but relatively difficult for PSG. Even if Barcelona can't score in the next match, PSG must win by at least 2-0. Since Barcelona won the first leg, Barcelona must play for the win in the second leg. The first leg matches are very important for every team since the Champions League quarter finals and Barcelona easily cleared the first leg hurdle.

We can all say that the dice of the second leg are in Barcelona's favor to win against PSG. But how are we sure whether they will make good use of it in their favor? I am asking this because I see football as a dice, a team can't tell the kind of dice they will end up picking as a result before the fateful day of the match.
Let's not be surprise of the kind dice we end up seeing. It can be a win or a loss for Barcelona, the way it was a loss for PSG at their home.

To be honest, I'm not surprised by this result and the high number of goals they had in that game. This is because both teams have great weaknesses in defense and both teams are at the same level. In my opinion, both teams are weak for this competition, neither of these two teams is capable of becoming champions of the champions league. That's why, in my opinion, either of these two teams can go to another stage. Barcelona has a good squad, but in my opinion they need a good coach capable of better managing the good squad they have. Xavi did his best, but he hasn't been able to turn Barcelona into a strong team at the level of winning the European Champions League, even winning the league is an almost impossible mission.

About PSG, they still need to improve a lot, unfortunately they have made meaningless signings in attack and if Mbappe leaves the team, then the chances of winning the European Champions League become zero percent. In my opinion, the PSG coach needs to focus better when the market opens, they need to know how to make better choices, maybe it would even be the case that they hired a coach just to give them advice on good players, because it's unbelievable how they have done bad hires

Apparently, de Paul quick goal in the 4th minute put Dortmund under more pressure and made it difficult for Dortmund to get a goal back. Because with result in first half like that, Dortmund also just scored in the 81st minute and of course, it took a lot of effort and time for Dortmund to score. Because anyway, basically Atletico also have a good defense line even though indeed, this season Atletico's defense line is not entirely good. I wasn't really shocked about the Barcelona vs PSG match results because I even anticipated PSG to draw at least or lose to superior Barca.
Barca may be weaker than before but when it comes to holding midfield play and stopping counter attacks or shading a key player out of the game, they sure do very well in that aspect.
Rafinha was agreeably very creative from the flank and am sure Dembele couldn't play much because he played for same Barcelona and was often on the bench more than on the pitch, hence he posed less threat in midfield.

Dortmund was cold to me all along in the match but towards the end of the match, many things changed and they began to play a more better football than before. The goal scored by Sebastian Haller towards the end of the match was a very crucial one for them and would give them a boost in the second leg of the match with just one goal to level up the aggregate. Arsenal vs Munich I saw the debate on social media when Raya passed to Gabriel and held hands. There was an opinion if it should have been a penalty, but it seems that the Referee did not see, because he had his back to the ball. If it was me then it should be a penalty for Munich.

Xavi Hernandez deserves not to go at all, he is the right man for Barcelona players. All he needed was signings to back him up. But right now they're not enough still but he has brought in two to three players into that squad at most the midfied and the defense to give them balance.
Allowing two goals in the space of minutes got me thinking if they had eventually lost the game to Paris Saint Germans. They have the right mentality, thanks to leadership roles on the pitch from IIkay Gundogan and also Robert Lewandoski last night. Having such figures made them push till the end.

Kylian Mbappe did not play anything, though I will say if he was used as the main number nine hoe many chances did the squad create for him?
