Considering how Barcelona played in yesterday's match, a lot of people are predicting in advance that Barcelona has already advanced to the second round. That is also my prediction because of how they played against PSG yesterday, which gives me complete confidence that Barcelona will win the second leg of their upcoming match very easily. The way Barcelona struggled to maintain consistency against PSG, who are the only team to score a single goal. Nevertheless, they exerted a great deal of effort and dominated with complete confidence they are now just awaiting the second leg.

PSG actually did tried their very best in the yesterdays game but then it wasn't enough to get them a victory and so they lost to Barcelona but then it didn't mean that they were a weak Side or had a poor performance but i think Barcelona did much better and deserved the victory they got so they were actually in a very good form and it appears they approach their champions league game differently from the way they do play their la Liga games.

I wouldn't fault such predictions because Barcelona actually did had a very brilliant performance that got them victory and that was actually enough to think they can be able to scale through to the next stage because in their next match they will be playing from home so i think that in it's self is an advantage for them which they will be able to utilize to be able to win the game and get a chance to proceed to the next stage of the league of which if they do, I'm optimistic they may even possibly get to the finals and that's going to be a really huge achievement for them in this their current form.

Next season PSG will have an opportunity to try again as Barcelona is at advantage of winning judging by almost every of the parameters, they are goals ahead a d they aswell have complete points already from the first game they have won so even if PSG wins this next meeting which is not looking possible, they have to do it with much goals to be able to be ahead and even a draw will still be in favour of Barcelona.

PSG lost 3-2 to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final first leg match between Barcelona vs PSG. Raphinha's two early goals for Barcelona essentially put Barcelona well ahead of PSG. Mbappe failed to score for PSG, basically PSG fell far behind in that place. Expectations were high for PSG this season in the Champions League but they fell short in the first leg against Barcelona. PSG's first leg loss to Barcelona means that the next match is easy for Barcelona but relatively difficult for PSG. Even if Barcelona can't score in the next match, PSG must win by at least 2-0. Since Barcelona won the first leg, Barcelona must play for the win in the second leg. The first leg matches are very important for every team since the Champions League quarter finals and Barcelona easily cleared the first leg hurdle.

We can all say that the dice of the second leg are in Barcelona's favor to win against PSG. But how are we sure whether they will make good use of it in their favor? I am asking this because I see football as a dice, a team can't tell the kind of dice they will end up picking as a result before the fateful day of the match.
Let's not be surprise of the kind dice we end up seeing. It can be a win or a loss for Barcelona, the way it was a loss for PSG at their home.

To be honest, I'm not surprised by this result and the high number of goals they had in that game. This is because both teams have great weaknesses in defense and both teams are at the same level. In my opinion, both teams are weak for this competition, neither of these two teams is capable of becoming champions of the champions league. That's why, in my opinion, either of these two teams can go to another stage. Barcelona has a good squad, but in my opinion they need a good coach capable of better managing the good squad they have. Xavi did his best, but he hasn't been able to turn Barcelona into a strong team at the level of winning the European Champions League, even winning the league is an almost impossible mission.

About PSG, they still need to improve a lot, unfortunately they have made meaningless signings in attack and if Mbappe leaves the team, then the chances of winning the European Champions League become zero percent. In my opinion, the PSG coach needs to focus better when the market opens, they need to know how to make better choices, maybe it would even be the case that they hired a coach just to give them advice on good players, because it's unbelievable how they have done bad hires

This is a result that didn't surprise me but I forgot to bet on Atlético Madrid to win this game. Apparently, de Paul quick goal in the 4th minute put Dortmund under more pressure and made it difficult for Dortmund to get a goal back. Because with result in first half like that, Dortmund also just scored in the 81st minute and of course, it took a lot of effort and time for Dortmund to score. Because anyway, basically Atletico also have a good defense line even though indeed, this season Atletico's defense line is not entirely good. It is very natural that PSG is still in the favorite in today's match because after all they are now in their own home so it is very natural that they are favorites but honestly in terms of the game in this match I actually feel that Barcelona is better in terms of performance than what PsG shows.
PSG is indeed good but in terms of movement and maturity in attack I think the Barcelona midfield is more able to dictate the game and until now I think it is still proven.

Many people expected PSG to win yesterday. They were the favourite and even had lower odds, since they were playing at home. They played well but their performance was not enough to give them the result. I don't know if they will be able to undo the loss when they visit Camp Nou. Well they have to give it their best because the worst that can happen is they failure to qualify for the semi final, although this will be a huge disappointment for the team and their key player Kylian Mbappe who might leave the club at the end of the season. He needed to leave a good legacy in the club besides the series of the French league titles.

Certainly there are quite a few bettors who have lost their money by favoring PSG and it must be understood that PSG is not what it used to be. Even though in terms of squad depth, PSG is very strong and when compared to Barcelona the difference is quite large. I wasn't really shocked about the Barcelona vs PSG match results because I even anticipated PSG to draw at least or lose to superior Barca.
Barca may be weaker than before but when it comes to holding midfield play and stopping counter attacks or shading a key player out of the game, they sure do very well in that aspect.
Rafinha was agreeably very creative from the flank and am sure Dembele couldn't play much because he played for same Barcelona and was often on the bench more than on the pitch, hence he posed less threat in midfield.

I doubt PSG would do much in the return leg because at Barca's home, the pitch will definitely be midfield locked and defense ready to stop PSG from coming all out on attack and having the ball in possession more.

Dortmund was cold to me all along in the match but towards the end of the match, many things changed and they began to play a more better football than before. The goal scored by Sebastian Haller towards the end of the match was a very crucial one for them and would give them a boost in the second leg of the match with just one goal to level up the aggregate. I hope Dortmund makes the right changes in the second leg of the match to give them a good lead in that match or else they will be eliminated at this stage in the competition.

It is going to be a great game in the second legs of the quarterfinals matches just like we had in the first leg matches.
