We can pretty much say that Beşiktaş board is "going away". I think they failed to transfer proper players to compete at high level football. Beşiktaş has so many that will be with their national teams for 1 month! That means they will at least miss 4 weeks in Turkish Süper League. I don't even count conference league and Turkish cup...

This is one of the biggest problems for Beşiktaş, almost all their players will go to the African Cup.

It will be very bad timing for Beşiktaş. While they are already not performing well enough in the league, now they will also have fewer players and the quality of the team's squad will decrease even more. It's sad, but Beşiktaş may not be able to recover for a while and may continue to lose points.

I mean it was already known that Besiktas will do badly this season when you end up getting a look at their transfers. They have overspent on players with no names at all and absolutely no talent as well. It's obvious that we are going to end up with something bad for them all year long.

The interesting fact is that Galatasaray and Fenerbahce is pulling away soon enough, it looks like they are doing fine, and there doesn't seem to be any team that could stop these teams. I mean who could even beat them? The only possibility would be these two teams ending up losing to a much worse team, there is no other alternative, unless they go undefeated all year long, which could possibly happen but even if not, they will have a bad game against a weaker opponent.

Fenerbahce v Basaksehir match has finished. The result wasn't surprising for me at all - 4-0. It was already a very easy match for Fenerbahce because Basaksehir are far away from their old performances now. Galatasaray also crushed them like 7-0 before as you can remember.    I even started to think about the probability of Basaksehir's being relegated from the Super League. But I accept at the same time that it is still quite early to make sure about the future of a team for this season.

Galatasaray should be winning their upcoming match against Ankaragucu. But as for Besiktas I'm not expecting the same. They are playing really terrible I'm afraid.

No one feels sorry for weak Başakşehir this season. Fenerbahçe also scored 4 goals and left. Despite its expensive squad, Başakşehir remained in the relegation zone. I wouldn't be surprised if they were relegated this year. The political power behind them now supports other clubs like Adana Demir.
Even though Çağdaş Atan is a good manager, the team is not playing the way they want. The striker they bought, Piatek, is a man who has never scored a goal. They need a decent striker. Also, the wings and midfielders need to score goals, their attacking players are performing very weak.

They changed too many coaches. It is one of the main problems of Turkish football... Kuntz, the coach of the Turkish national team, was recently fired. There is talk that Kuntz could become the head coach of the German national team. I hope I have explained the situation... Football clubs in Turkiye don't give enough time to coaches. If Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp came to Turkey, they could be fired after their second defeat. I want to give a quick example, in the past Löw was fired from Fenerbahçe after a few bad results. Then he was in charge of the German national team for years...

Başakşehir have a quality above the average of the Turkish league. I don't think they will be relegated this season but they need to explain to the players that stability can be achieved...

Senol Gunes' attitude against Salih Ucan has been criticized a lot on the social media. To tell the truth I also think that his pushing his own player like that wasn't nice at all. This would just demoralize the player and could affect his performance negatively as well. I think Senol Gunes should act by knowing his limits to prevent bigger problems from emerging.

Besiktas are already having hard days recently. If we see some other problems being created as well then I can't even imagine the rest of the season for this team. In that case Senol Gunes wouldn't also stay here any longer.

It is so sad to watch Samsunspor just sitting at the bottom of table after all those new transfers. When new teams that come to Süper Lig always suffers from inflation of mediocre foreign players. When we look at Samsunspor we exactly observe this, they keep getting free or cheap foreigners from market and established pretty weak squad compared to their opponents. They actually have good attackers but defending positions are like "filler" players only from random teams...

Hatayspor was the guest of Sivasspor today. Although Sivasspor played well, they couldn't find a goal and unfortunately the match ended in a goalless draw. Hatayspor has not been defeated in 7 matches in the league. We can say that they are doing a good job under the management of Volkan Demirel.
Antalyaspor, on the other hand, came from behind against Istanbulspor and won the match 2-1. Although Istanbulspor could not play a dominant football in the first half, they found the goal, but Antalyaspor took control in the second half and managed to turn the match with 2 goals scored by Buksa.

I think there was good football on the pitch in the match between Galatasaray and Ankaragücü. Galatasaray were the clear favorites but Ankaragücü showed that they are a good team by not giving Galatasaray many positions. In the first half we didn't see a clear goal position except for Kerem Aktürkoğlu's wonderful free-kick (that free-kick should be considered as an exception). If Okan Buruk wants Galatasaray to move a bit more, he should give Zaha and Kerem Aktürkoğlu more minutes at the same time. Kerem has been very good for a long time, he is the best player in this team, but if Zaha can keep up with his rhythm, Galatasaray will reach a better level... Galatasaray will play Manchester United in the Champions League next week. It was important to win in the league before that game and they did that.

I decided to watch the Ankaragucu game and I was really stressful while watching it. Because Ankaragucu goalkeeper Bahadir Gungordu was the man of the match. He made unbelievable saves today otherwise Galatasaray could have won by a much bigger goal difference rather than winning by 2-1.

Their defending was very poor so they had better be thankful for the peformance of their goalkeeper a lot. It is sad not to see Icardi scoring a goal this time. He could have done it actually but Bahadir made insane saves against Icardi's goal attempts also.

I really liked Davinson Sanchez in defense today. He made critical moves in defense which saved the team from conceding more goals. I hope to see this effort from him against Manchester United too. Boey and Zaha were also quite impressive in offense area.

Galatasaray seems to know how to always manipulate their way to victory even in matches they seem not to be at their best just like their match tonight. It's a good sign that they're gonna do anything possible to retain the Turkish Super Lig title at the the of the season.
Unfortunately for Mauro Icardi, he didn't score tonight but was very instrumental to the team's victory. Wilfred Zaha is adapting to life in Turkey and helped his club secure all three points in their game tonight.

I really cannot comprehend how and why Galatasaray is experiencing issues with receiving rewards of their good football. Normally we were more familiar with Galatasaray playing bad but getting good results (it was called Galatasaray luck, you know). But I think its vice versa this season which is unbelievable. Its not bad sign in my opinion still cause Galatasaray should be both playing better and get easy results. They are one step behind Fenerbahçe.

Galatasaray played perhaps one of its worst games last night. It is a great failure to take so many positions and score so few goals. Of course, it is a good thing that they won the match, but I think the fact that they took 36 shots and scored only 2 or even 1 goal is something that should be considered.
Bahadır Güngördü played perhaps one of the best matches of his life. If we had seen such a performance 2-3 years ago, maybe he could be the goalkeeper of one of the best teams in the country instead of Ankaragücü

Today, Beşiktaş was given a very high odds against Konyaspor. It seems that the betting companies saw this match as risky. I don't see any risk. This match will be the winning match that will end the bad results. Bad results were obtained in the last 4 matches, except for Kayserispor game. This match could be the beginning of a revival. Konyaspor is doing badly in the league and Beşiktaş's chances are generally high against Konyaspor. That's why I have no doubt. Missing, injured players etc. doesn't matter, the player who goes on the field plays his best.
