With this new Saudi deal, the whole nation is on riot right now, twitter is filled with Arabic and Turkish people fighting each other. The game was suppose to happen at Saudi Arabia, but there were some disagreements regarding national values.

There was no flag or national anthem allowed and obviously that wasn't acceptable, which is understandable, who wouldn't let two Turkish teams start the game with the Turkish anthem, that's ludacris. In the end, the game got cancelled, I have no idea if it was postponed or cancelled but one good thing is that the bets were voided already, which means that I already got my bet back, and as long as I keep getting my bets back this quickly, I am fine with them cancelling if they didn't want to play.

I can't believe there was terrible crisis happened before match even started. I think both Saudi Arabian organizator and Turkish football federation made numerous mistakes yesterday that caused match to be cancelled. When you receive visitor to your country you should definitely act accordingly to their demand. Turkish fans are very intense and they love to use national symbols and sayings at tribune. If you don't like it then, do not even invite Turkish clubs. I hope match will be totally cancelled and cup will be shared by both teams.

This was the best derby I've ever witnessed although football being not played at all. It was a stupid idea to play the game in arabia anyway. They may have some people watching their games after the recent transfers, including me, but this doesn't mean an organization being held there is a good idea. There is no doubt now it's needed some good changes but still as we are heading we have good improvement in quality and performance of many teams which is positive, but things can't go into change with as we have in Saudi Arab because they are doing all they can afford here we have no luxury like this but still we can expect few more positive changes which are essential recently we have good improvement in UEFA results which are giving green signals for the future as well.

But for the more investment from club owners need to have better revenue and media rights sell as well which is not easy, but we can expect good growth for the Turkish League in future despite many on and off the field issues if they are able to have good investment then surely things can go drastically and this league can go at their best in just few years.

This match was supposed to be played in Turkey. That was the problem from the very beginning. I was very happy that the match was cancelled. While everyone was complaining about the federation, we watched an avalanche of reactions and this made me very happy.
There is still no clear development regarding the match. I wonder if it will be played in Arabia or if they will arrange a stadium in Turkey. But what I don't understand is why would the Saudi Professional League officials care about those t-shirts? I get that all these political signals are not allowed and that there are disagreements about the separation of the state and religion and so on. But the Saudi officials could have just called the FIFA and make sure that the Turkish teams get a penalty IF it wasn't allowed to do that. I don't know if it was prohibited what they had in mind, but if it was, just ignore it, let them play and let the FIFA handle the case. That's how it should be. Saudi Arabia has to get more easy going as they will soon be the hosts of the World Cup. They should grow a thicker skin.

I feel like it's a bit wrong on both sides, if Saudi Arabians do not want this kind of things, they should not agree to get the game on their stadium, and if Turkish teams want certain things that are not allowed, then they should not agree to go there. In the end, it's a national pride thing apparently, and maybe not that many nations do this, but Turkey does, it's known, even in UCL and other European competitions they have done this, so there is nothing wrong with that at all.

I believe that if you are inviting a Turkish team, you should be ready to get some decent national symbols all over, unlike some other nations. Somethings are not meant to be debated about because we’ve got to put the country forward in football and not the founder of the country. I am guessing that it is not about the shirts, but more regarding what is allowed and what is not allowed being risky waters to talk about. If you let one team do whatever they want without caring about what is allowed, then next time another team plays, they will ask for more as well, then another team will ask even more, and eventually you will have chaos in your hands.

But isn't that what the FIFA is for? We are still talking about t-shirts in my opinion. First of all who the heck cares whether they want to celebrate the 100-year existence of their country by wearing a t-shirt of the back then president who fostered separation of the church and the state? I was disappointed with Turkish and Saudi football authorities for the very poor preparation by the two nations that resulted to the crises that led to the cancellation of the Super Cup match match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
