His name was actually called with Besiktas also before agreeing with Antalyaspor.    But Besiktas are said to have reached a principle agreement with Bruno Genesio already. It is good for them to not go around the same managers all the time. Change is good. Maybe he can adapt to Turkish football nicely and make the team more successful.

But normally if you ask me I would favour Turkish managers for Turkish teams. Because it is really difficult to find the right foreign manager. Adana Demirspor did a good job with that previously by bringing Montella but it doesn't always happen.

After Nuri Şahin left his job and went to Borussia Dortmund, Sergen Yalçın was appointed as the new manager of Antalyaspor. Sergen Yalçın is a successful manager who previously won the championship with Beşiktaş. He is someone who has coached many Anatolian clubs, but has never served in any club for a long time. I think he will be successful in Antalyaspor, but I'm not sure how long he will serve.

Maybe previously Sergen Yalçın has previously succeeded in bringing success to Besiktas and it is hoped that in the future he can replace Nuri Şahin and can bring Antalyaspor to achievements in the form of championship title.
But I not sure that Sergen Yalçın can bring change in the near future.
After all, he only serves as temporary coach and if there is no good development then there is possibility that Antalyaspor will look for new coach to replace Sergen Yalçın, but still he is great coach and really has lot of experience.

Antalyaspor currently occupies 8th position in the standings and if this season Antalyaspor can occupy the top 4 ranking when the season ends then that will be the start of extraordinary success.
It is possible that next season Antalyaspor and Sergen Yalçın will have even better achievements so that he will be considered worthy coach for Antalyaspor.

We are starting the year with surprising news for me. Josef de Souza was playing in China, he returned to Türkiye with the news announced today. Josef de Souza, who signed a 1.5-year contract with Başakşehir, left Türkiye for a ridiculous reason. Last season, Josef was punished for stopping a hooligan who jumped onto the field and tried to beat the referee. Josef, who was punished instead of being rewarded, left the country saying football cannot be played in such an environment. It was strange that he was back here again, and in such a short time. I wish him success, but it is Başakşehir, not like Beşiktaş. Don't forget this.

It would be wise for us to replace them with better players in the second half of the season.

Since his days at Ajax, Hakim Ziyech has been a very good player that's been very impressive as his presence in any club he's played for can not be over emphasized. It was his electrifying and captivating style of football at Ajax that made Chelsea to sign him and when he got to Chelsea, he had an instant impact as he helped the club to win the UEFA champions league trophy in his first season with the club.  It was as a result of bad coaching at Chelsea last season that made the Moroccan to have a bad season at the club which made him to move to Galatasaray last summer. So if the club aren't okay with his services again, getting another club shouldn't be a big issue for Hakim Ziyech because he still possess all the attributes of a great player.

How that's he's above 30 years of age, I think it'll not be a bad idea to move to the Saudi Arabian league when he'll get juicy financial offers as an Arabian.

Yeah it was a very nice impressive season for the both team because Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are the strongest club on the league this season because there record is very clean and checking there match statistics they have made so many winings and has just a little match they lose so actually this season is one the favorite season for them.

But however when we talk about the team that may likely win the league I think Fenerbahçe has an upper chance of wining the league instead of Galatasaray because irrespective of Galatasaray performance on the league but is obvious that Fenerbahçe is a bit better than them but however is certain that the winner of the league will either be Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray because there is no club that's better than the both team on this season.

It is %100 logical move to just let him go. Angelino came in with a big fury, played well, but recently we have been using our right attacking winger (who can play striker and did so in national team) Barıs instead of Angelino at left back, consider how worse you need to get that a team would rather use right winger at left back instead of you. The only one that doesn't make sense is Ziyech, he is an amazing player, he did so much, but he also doesn't want to play, he always looked unhappy, we couldn't make him happy, and he notified his agent to find another club. It happens, we just have to accept that, if he wants to leave then we wish him the very best and just look for someone else. To be fair one left back and one midfield without any other addition was our request as fans, if they can do that, rest would be simple enough for us. We already have players in every other position.

The problem with him was that he had some injuries, and he is basically loaned to Galatasaray for free, imagine not wanting a player so badly that you are willing to just let him go for free, that usually means something.

I do not know how he is playing at Galatasaray in general, but I can see that he didn't play all that many games, and that could be one of the reasons, and he could be a decent player there maybe, not sure, but a decent player for some games all season long is not something Chelsea would want, plus the level of competition is different for Chelsea and Galatasaray, and that means Ziyech wasn't someone they could tolerate at all. I believe that he is not really a key player to even Galatasaray, he could leave and they wouldn't suddenly become terrible.

So actually Antalyaspor is really trying but I doubt if they can make it to top four on the league because there upcoming matches will be a very big pressure on them but however I believe there next match will be a bit easy on them because they are far better than Alanyaspor so is going to be a win match for them.

January transfer window is here, most teams would use the time to gather up new intensity to their squad, switches would occur and definitely either or positive or negative change in the team's performance would follow suit. The Turkish side have seen an essentiality of a switch up, it may seem advantageous to them although it's all ahead of the final half of the season as well as European cup contests too.

 These players have done their best for the team no doubt but there are decisions a team makes for their own selves, although some may not necessarily be favourable to the players but it just has to be made. This is an avenue for the team to make better signings that'd improve the squad strength. They're already a good side judging from their UCL performance and their domestic league's performance too but the management wants better and so it's a welcome if they decide to let go off of some men to bring in new ones. Their decision should be respected and accepted.

I feel like most of them do not even matter, so I felt fine about it. Ziyech is an unbelievable player, if he played all games and actually contributed, he would be by far the best player in our squad without even a single doubt, but he played one game, showed how awesome he is, then sat out 5 games, then came back played one game and was unreal, and then sat out 5 games. We can't just have that, so I am not too upset, plus he was free, so we didn't really lose any money. Angelino was a loan too, and I do worry about our left back position, we have been playing Barıs there, which is fine, but Angelino wasn't that good too, now we have no one there basically, I hope they get someone but I am not upset that Angelino leaves, I feel fine about it. Ndombele didn't even play to be fair, so good riddance. As long as they end up getting someone more decent, I will feel fine with these.

But what I don't understand is why would the Saudi Professional League officials care about those t-shirts? I get that all these political signals are not allowed and that there are disagreements about the separation of the state and religion and so on. But the Saudi officials could have just called the FIFA and make sure that the Turkish teams get a penalty IF it wasn't allowed to do that. I don't know if it was prohibited what they had in mind, but if it was, just ignore it, let them play and let the FIFA handle the case. That's how it should be. Saudi Arabia has to get more easy going as they will soon be the hosts of the World Cup. They should grow a thicker skin.

I don't know and honestly I don't really care about that. Turkish Super League is way bigger than that unncesessary cup match that forced to play abroad. We don't have time to waste with the Saudis and their strange rules. This cup match should've been played in Türkiye from the very beginning and this issue should've been closed long ago. Playing last year's cup in the middle of the season is ridiculous in itself.
League matches will continue this weekend. The league's break was only for a week. The teams didn't camp during this period, didn't make any tactical changes or transfers, and it didn't feel like a half-time break.

I also agree Angelino was way below than what he was supposed to be, Ndombele is also another very important transfer that turned out to be useless. Fenerbahçe transfers were more on point in my opinion. over 30 years old looking for high pay is important for their future.
In Europe, if you're over 30, it's hard to play for a top team and earn a high salary.
the best solution is to play in the Saudi Arabian league. with the great financial strength of the Saudi Arabian clubs it must be very easy to recruit and pay Ziyech a high contract salary.

In this season, if you differentiate between Besiktas and Antalyaspor, of course they will have very different playing qualities, Besiktas is far superior this season and Besiktas has managed to show competition quite well.
Antalyaspor will have difficulties and will definitely be full of pressure if they want to occupy one of the top 4 or 5 positions, whereas Besiktas itself has big chance of occupying 3rd place because the difference is very thin, namely 1 point.
Try to imagine what Antalyaspor would do if they wanted to occupy one of the top 5 positions while their difference was 5 points and the team occupying that position was really playing well.
Antalyaspor only hope is with Sergen Yalçın performance, if this new coach can work well there might be chance but we don't know yet whether Sergen Yalçın can carry the team he coaches in the near future.
At least Sergen Yalçın needs one season to be able to build Antalyaspor into much better place.
