After match week 3 a lot have changed on the premier league table and it getting more interesting,

What surprised me in week 3 was Man City's performance, having lost 2 out of 3 matches played. I thought their poor performance was over after last season, but it seems they are continuing it into this season.
Man City lost to Tottenham and Brighton. This is a bad start for them. Is it possible that their era is over, and they will start the season like United? If this continues, they won't just be unable to compete with Liverpool, but Pep's position as coach might also be at risk.

Yeah I think Manchester city poor performance is Will continue again this season, in this 2 matches they have lost they really played below expectations. After that Erling Haaland first half goal I though after the break Manchester city would kill off Brighton by scoring a second goal but that didn’t happen and gave Brighton more momentum to push for a goal and they were awarded a penalty which former Manchester city player James Milner scored and it was looking like Manchester city would get a second but they didn’t and Brighton scored a second from a Sweet counter attack. It was a good match for the home side and a big blow for Manchester city. Guardiola poor performance continues and eye brows are being raised.

Another big blow is Manchester city losing Their new signing Rayan cherki to a 2 months injury. This is a player who bring in much flair to the squad. Today is the last day of the summer transfer let see if anything changes in the Manchester city squad.

Manchester City’s loss yesterday came as a shock indeed especially after losing their the previous game to Tottenham I expected Guardiola will want to make up for the loss with a return win but Brighton were up for a different business entirely, they came for the three points and stayed focus on that.

What a funny place is the transfermarket on football, is just incredible how anyone can cost a fortune but a high level and top 3 goalkeeper of the world like Donnaruma is gonna cost Manchester City only 30 millions euros, i know this transfer have some special things about and time was running, but come on is just crazy to see any other goalkeeper being much more expensive.

Manchester City are going through a phase and to me no matter the player that they bring in to help the team they will still not be as good as they were two seasons ago because the era has passed. The era of football is moving more towards the teams like Liverpool Arsenal and Chelsea, currently Manchester City's best chance is to ensure that they keep qualifying for the Champions League because from the very few games they've played this season and the amount of money they've invested into the clubs without any visible results, I do not think that they will be able to win the Premier League.

I woke up this morning and I saw Leverkusen quickly issued a sack letter to Erik Ten Hag and I was happy. I wasn't happy because he was relieved from his job but the club was quick to take action instead of letting him bring that unlucky performance to the team. A club don't have to wait for the end of the season to appoint a new manager, if they see the sign chase their weak performance from your club and look for a competent person but I guess Manchester United is deaf and don't listen.

Amorim poor performance started when he took over last season but everyone thought it was some certain players, they are actually but at the moment, it's safe to say Amorim can't handle the growth of this club, he can't give Manchester United what they are looking for unless they go for another person but I know they are going to let him stay until it's too worse that the team will be like division 2 team before they final let go of Amorim from his job.

Manchester City don't really have the opportunity to challenge big club this season in the Premier League, I didn't believe they will lose three point last weekend because with how they start the first half with good performance. Guadiola as be struggling since Rodri get injured is team is not performing good anymore. Any club that face Manchester City always feel that they are better then them and always have the chance to achieve the three point.  Losing back to back in the Premier League, lost against Tottenham and now they lose another three point against Brighton. The season just started we can consider Guadiola and see if he will do good in there next fixture games in the league competition.

Let see after the international break, if they will improve better and start challenging the top clubs in the League competition. If Guadiola didn't improve this season and perform poor like they did last season, i don't think they can perform well in the ucl this season because there opponents in the ucl competition is not a small club they need to improve better to perform in the competition. In my opinion am thinking arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are the most club that will challenge to win the Premier League this season. I think that Tottenham is even better then Manchester City this time around.

Matchday 3 has concluded and we already know that Liverpool is the only team to have won three consecutive matches. Liverpool secured a total of 9 points against Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Arsenal and that's a great start for the reigning champions. Manchester City and Arsenal lost, while Chelsea and Manchester United both won, as did Tottenham.

Week 4 is certainly no less interesting and I think the Manchester derby is one of them. It might not be the most exciting match of the bunch, but derbies are usually a different kind of match. There's prestige between the two teams and of course, I'm really looking forward to Manchester City's comeback after their 2 consecutive defeats to Tottenham and Brighton.

The fact is that, when the club that you are does not want your service anymore, other clubs will take advantage of that player and start pricing lesser amount compared to his value. It has happened time without number. Manchester City is taking advantage of Donnaruma condition to sign him for a lower amount. Football is business and only the footballers with great potentials enjoy high pay all the time.

Yea I think Pep Guardiola have been distracted lately and it started from last season though because of how good he is in this management, he later qualified for Champions league regardless but for them to go far in this season in all competition they must improve else they won't go anywhere. I can't believe they later lose there game after leading with a goal, when I check score line and saw Manchester city winning I concluded the game has ended only for my friend to come and told me that Manchester city lose the game 2:1. This is not about era rather it is more like a seasonal something, some seasons again Liverpool, Chelsea, arsenal and some others were struggling just like the way Manchester city is struggling now but it will be fine even though not now.

The crucial point here is that Donnarumma's contract expires very soon. Therefore, transfer fees that seem reasonable to us are considered normal for these transfers. Of course, I don't think it's unreasonable for some Premier League teams to pay €90 million for newly announced players. Perhaps transfer fees in football need to be restructured.

I think you are getting it all wrong mate, I don’t think Manchester United problem still lies up front. You can only say the front line is the problem if they are not scoring at all, but in the matches they played they only failed to score against Arsenal.

For me I think the problem in that Manchester United is the Defense and in that defensive midfield. Do you watch Manchester United matches and see how awful Manchester United defense is, imagine a defense of a team in the premier league conceding 2 goals to league 2 team. Funny enough the funny thing is Amorim don’t see that they need to make total recruitment in that defense.

A lot of disaster will still happen to Manchester United this season, if they can finish top half of the table then I think they perform above my expectations.

As I had a pretty busy weekend, I'm just catching up with the results and I think the biggest surprise was West Ham beating Nottm Forest. It looked like their going to split points, but West Ham pressed on the gas pedal and scored 3 in the last minutes. Just about time. The pressure was mounting on West Ham's manager (Graham Potter). His name was being mentioned as the most likely to be replaced among all Premier League managers.

Things are not looking very rosy for Man City. After a great start of the season (4-0 win against Wolves), they noted their 2nd loss in a row to an average club. Too soon to make judgements, but it doesn't seem very likely that they'll be able to fight for the top spot. Their next league games are a derby against Man United and an away game against Arsenal. Guardiola needs to get the team sorted really soon. If he was to lose both of these, I don't think his position would be very secure.

Manchester United got their first win of the season after a tough start to their campaign. Their supporters were so excited with this development and from my perspective I think it was a well deserved win for United because they fought and never stopped believing they could win throughout the game.
Since Manchester United have lost only one match and won one match and drew the other, considering this result, Manchester United cannot be considered a poorly performing team so far. However, they need to maintain the winning streak that Manchester United got in the last match. The problem that always happens to Manchester United is that after winning one or two matches, they lose more than one match, so that victory is not of much use to them. We know that it is very challenging for Manchester United to be at the top of the points table from a team perspective, but even if they cannot be at the top of the points table, they must try to be at the fifth position or below in the points table. And I believe that if Manchester United performs well, they will be able to secure their position between one and five in the points table.

I think it’s time Pep Guardiola leave Manchester City. I’m not saying this because I feel he is a bad Coach, Actually he is one of the best coaches in the World, but I don’t think it’s by buying and adding players to the squad, I think it’s more about the club seeking a new challenge, Pep Guardiola have won everything I don’t think there is anything more to be competitive about, The players need a new coach that can motivate them more on winning some more titles and the Champions League, The competition is slightly changing now, Liverpool and Arsenal seem to be more active as teams that wants to win the Premier League and compete for the Champions League.

You're right that Liverpool are unbeaten in their first three Premier League matches and have won three in a row. This result suggests Liverpool are intent on returning to their dominance of the league, as they did last season, especially considering the Reds' signings in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Chelsea are unbeaten in their last three matches, with one draw and two consecutive wins.

Moving down from the top, it's unfortunate that underdogs like Aston Villa and Newcastle, who performed quite well last season, have started the 2025/26 season with a truly disappointing run of results, and both teams have yet to register a single win.

Meanwhile, for the 4th week, the Manchester derby is one of the matches that many fans are waiting for, even though at this time both teams are not in their best form, but the meeting between these two teams always makes a special impression and cannot be missed

I also think so, Pep Guardiola has won everything with Manchester City so maybe that's why there's no higher desire and also for Manchester City players also need new things and also besides that Manchester City's team game seems very monotonous now so that the opposing teams already know how to face Manchester City so indeed a long time is not always good for a coach and maybe it's time for Manchester City not because he is not good as a coach but for the team's refreshment.

The derby of Manchester is gonna be super relevant much more than ever, i mean the team who lose can see his caoch sacked, and yes im saying Guardiola can be in the tightrope, Amorim much more, i also think maybe Amorim is already sacked and  they are only jsut waiting to this match to let him lose and hire a new caoch.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and some other teams are considered as the traditional teams of the English Premier League. Due to the poor performance of the above teams in a few seasons, Manchester City performed well for a few seasons and they won several league titles, so suddenly the number of Manchester City supporters increased a lot, but when Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea returned to good performance, Manchester City could not perform well.
Last season, they finished the season with bad results and we did not notice their Champions League and good performance. This season, Manchester City is walking on the same path, so this season too, Manchester City has a lot of potential to do well. If they continue to perform poorly in this way, then the number of supporters of this team will decrease a lot and later they will not want to bring good quality players to the team. So if Manchester City wants to change their club, they will have to do it next season, otherwise they will face problems later.
