Man City lost 2-1 to the hungry Brighton side after taking a 0-1 lead in the first half. It's obvious that Pep Guardiola hasn't won any match in the last two performances, and not a single match in his last three games against brighton, under Fabian Hürzeler.

City held on possession and tried to mount some pressure on Brighton's defense in the first half, but the outcome was destroyed by Haaland's poor choices to put them ahead. At least, we need to know the results of these upcoming matches against Man City and Chelsea. Both are unbeatable, and Chelsea needs a tactical boost to beat them, although, as we know, Man City isn't playing as well. This will be Amorim's big goal, at least to continue their winning streak from the previous match. However, Once Emroe, Manchester City, and Chelsea will not give it up easily.

These two games will be a real test to ascertain if Manchester United is improving. Chelsea are unbeaten in three Premier League games, showing that it will be difficult to beat them. With the strength of the Chelsea attack, I don't expect the United defense to stop the Blues from scoring. They have had very poor goalkeeping recently with both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir making terrible mistakes. Maybe Senne Lammens might bring a better performance that will help them concede fewer goals.

Manchester City will be a weaker opposition when compared with Chelsea. The Cityzens  have lost two games in three matches. I wouldn't be surprised if the match favours United or ends up in a draw.  I am in no way underrating City because they have good players who can turn the tide in any game.

As Manchester United fan I'm bothered about negative comments against the club. The fact is that many people have lost trust in the Club for years now we've recover and  get back to our glory. The the club has spent so much on the to as m just to get the club back to elite way. The expectations are high, all fans want the players to do better, they want to see the club win as many matches as possible.

But the fact is that, the players are getting to adapt to the team, we have to give the players some times to blend together and see what they can offer to the club.  Their performance has really improved this season, they seem to be serious and hopefully they can win a something this season.  The only problem the club has now is the coach, his game fixture is a Concern, he should stop to play midfielder as top 9 when he has two options strikers on the bench. I'm confidence, Manchester United will not end the way they end last season, they will do better. I'm glad they have bought a new keeper. Let's see how it goes.

I don’t think Manchester United would make it to top four this season, Because if you look at the team you will understand that Manchester United are going through a phase in the season,

normally Manchester united team didn't start well this season, so there is no doubt that Manchester united team may not make it to top four this season since the team is not yet in good performance, and it is already looking as that this season will be hell for the Manchester united team. And even if Manchester united team will not be able to make it for top 4 this season at least let us see be some improvement from them.

Seems you're just making guesting work here, what shows that manchester united is not in a good form this season? Can you compare thier performance this season and that of last season? Of course there are a lot of changes in the club even if you don't notice that but i can still notice it from here, the only challenge manchester united is having now is goalkeeper and they also need some improvement in thier finishing area because I noticed that they have been having a hard time in scoring in several matches but if it is in terms of performance I don't see anything wrong with thier performance. And yeah, they are expected to do more than this due to thier New signings and is obvious that ever since they bring in those new players Alot of things has changed in the club and I believe with time they would definitely bounce back to a good position.

Last season, their first 3 games resulted in 1 win and 2 losses[1]. If you compare it to the current form, I guess you could say the 25/26 is slightly better by 1 point. But if you include games other than EPL, you could argue that Manchester United started badly, considering they exited the Carabao Cup, CMIIW.

At the end of the day, it's only 3 games. Let's see their position on the table after 10 games to predict where they'll end up next year.

I don't know man.. It certainly is difficult to see Manchester united finishing amongst the top 4 spot this season. Don't get me wrong. I'm optimistic on their performance this season especially as they've bolstered their squad with new great signings. We just need to see actual improvements in the form of wins and number of goals scored.
I also think Mbeumo is an amazing talent and his impact would be really felt during matches. Kudos to Amorin for bringing him into the club. Their gameplay seem to have improved from last season, we just need to see more goals and wins. They really need to do much better if they actually want to make it to the top 4 spot.

You are right, Manchester United with the nonsense they are playing has no business with the top 4 position, even an Europa League spot will still be difficult for them to achieve judging from what they are currently playing now. Frankly, Manchester United made good signings but I feel that isn't enough as the backline was almost totally neglected during the window. The like of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal has already gotten the top 3 positions, it's left for City, Tottenham and the rest to fight for the remaining spot which I don't see Manchester United in it.

That was the problem, they assumed they just needed a few big names and they would be better, and that was it, they didn't do anything else. I still can't get over the fact that they bought only three players, and overpaid massively on all three players, and that's it, nothing more. So they assumed, the team that became 15th place last year, could take just 3 players and be good?

They are aware that they can't be good, they are aware that just three players can't make them change anything, so why did they do this? Like what was the reason behind it? Like was there someone who thought three players would get them into top six or something? Because, it won't and this was a horrible summer period where they spent tons of money and improved none.

Sadly. I think Amorim and the management of the club are both to be blamed here. Manchester United still believe they are not in so much mess when as a matter of fact, they've really performed so poorly beyond anyone's expectations in this season of competition. I also expected more hands on deck from the team this season and was thinking of seeing more new faces in the block. But I was surprised only a few of them came on board and yet the club feels like it needs more squad depth to survive the competition in the league. I don't think Amorim will survive this heat this time around. I think the club will most probably do away with him once they see such opportunities. I used to advise teams to bring out money and spend on players even if it takes borrowing because you need to keep the club and brand alive regardless and the only way of achieving such feat is by effectively putting your team together for a stronger and more consistent delivery.

And I personally think that it will be very difficult for Manchester United to finish in the top 4 at least this season. Because they are like again starting from zero to have more. The condition and the circumstances they are bearded and they are bearing is really a difficult situation. And now definitely things will take time to rebuild themselves. So it's better to expect less from them and motivate them more. Because things are not as easy as they really seem. But the team has the potential to achieve now. Maybe it will take time but they will succeed in achieving more and the best. Because failure is more strong to motivate anyone then the success.

The point is that no one is saying that Manchester United has not improved this season they have improved and their performance against all the teams they have played so far is the evidence but a lot still need to be done in the team which is why the good results are not forth coming.

I won’t even say there is any improvement in Manchester United yet, Manchester United signed some quality players so I expected something better than this. Manchester United has played 4 matches this season, 3 premier league matches and 1 EFL match, and Manchester United struggled to get 1 win in the four matches played, just imagine that Manchester United couldn’t get a win against  team like Grimbsby, and United played with there full squad, but they couldn’t win, that’s really bad for a team like Manchester United, and i never expected that from them.

Manchester United do dominate most of their matches, but they are just always finding it difficult to score in most of those matches. Let’s talk about the three premier league matches which Manchester United have played. They could only win just one match, and that was against Burnley, a team that Manchester United were not suppose to find difficult to win, but they struggled in the match, if not for the penalty awarded to Manchester United towards the ending of the match, United won’t have won the match. Manchester United played draw against Fulham and lost to Arsenal.

They played well against arsenal, but they couldn’t just score in the match, but what everyone is after is a team that get’s the three points. Seriously am not satisfied with Manchester United performance this season yet.

The squad size seems adequate, with a generally good mix of quality players. The coach has plenty of options when it comes to devising a game plan, but unfortunately, inconsistent performance remains a problem. Ruben Amorim needs to make some adjustments to his game plan and be very decisive in selecting his starting lineup, even having the courage to bench players like Bruno if their performance is bad.

I mean I am saying league two because that is their name, but in reality that is fourth division team, so they would need three title wins (or second place whatever playoff wins or something) to go to premier league, that's the difference.

And United lost to them and they have spent 200+ million on this summer. That is not acceptable, there should be such a vast gap that United should be able to win 5-0 and easily just go back home. It makes absolutely no sense that they lost, and also they had to climb back up too, they had a comeback in that game, they started out by losing early on. That's just pure disappointment.

I understand what it means for ones beloved team to have bad seasons back to back for years now. You don't have to be bothered about the negative comments, you can only correct them where you think they are wrong in what they are saying. But you wouldn't blame us for the negative comments either because it's what we are seeing presently that we are talking about even though some of us doesn't like Manchester United due to other teams that we support.

I see Man United season as more realistic, focusing on improving and continuously improving their performance, not expecting to compete for a top four finish, let alone a trophy. This way they're less stressed and can focus on improvements. Admittedly Man United has struggled to recover, not only due to unresolved internal issues, but also from pressure from both external and internal sources. When players experience significant pressure, their game inevitably stagnate. Just look at every defeat where both players and coaches are subjected to intense criticism. So let the players and coaches focus on improving, and don't be overly ambitious which can put them under pressure.

Many players have suffered mental health issues, resulting in a lack of confidence due to the pressure they're under. Amorim still has time to improve after Man United management gave them the opportunity. Amorim faces a significant challenge in their next match but if they overcome these challenges and even secure a perfect result I'm sure the Man United squad's confidence will improve. Amorim faces challenges in their next three matches, facing City, Chelsea and Brentford. I hope Amorim uses this opportunity as a stepping stone to recovery.

Losing the game to Grimsby Town is not just a small mistake, It shows the bigger problems at Manchester United. A team that spent more than £200 million in the summer should not lose to a League The differences in players, and performance of the team is too big, Manchester United should have won the match easily. But they decided to started poorly and even had to come from behind. That should never happen against a fourth division team.To me this was not just bad luck, it showed that Manchester United were not focused and could not control the game like a big club should do.

I blamed both the manager and the players. The manager should prepare the team better, and the players also need to show more confidence and effort. Teams like Grimsby fight with passion because they have nothing to lose. That is why Manchester United must be serious from the very start but they fail to do it

Fans are right to be angry. Everyone expects Manchester United to win every most of their games, but they end up losing to such a small team like that.

To my knowledge there is no role model player in this team who would inspire other players to commit to improving the capabilities of Man United. Their next three matches in the new season could be a huge obstacle as they will feature the reigning Club World Cup champions and Manchester City.
