Anyway, the latest news on Chelsea is that Nico Jackson will definitely be leaving Chelsea as soon as possible. He's no longer at Chelsea, and Chelsea have several new signings from CFs, and there are plenty of CFs there. And right now, the club most desperate to land that center forward is Aston Villa.

I still think Jackson should choose Newcastle over Aston Villa, in Newcastle he high likely will include in starting lineup, while in Aston Villa he need to compete against Watkins. Liverpool is being quiet lately, the transfer would happen after Liverpool sign Isak.

Chelsea is in a very great form and they have better quality players than West ham who sold majority of their keep players and are now in shamble this season. I am not supposed to judge Westham with only 1 match into the new season, but losing to Championship Sunderland is a red flag to me. They go no where this season.

West Ham is a mediocre team, the market value is only 386 Million Euros, Sunderland market value is 261 Million Euros. The gap is not big, hence it's make sense how Sunderland managed to beat West Ham with big margin.

People must be out of their mind to give such low number of votes for Haaland there.    He started the season with 2 goals man. Or are people just doing that because of getting used to his performances?

I agree about Richarlison though. Especially one of his goals was incredible. He was horrible last season. I hope he makes a real improvement this time. For now I have doubts about his consistency...

The people are realizing one thing about Haaland, and that is not a bad thing at all, but it is a weird thing and they are at this point not in favour of it. It is the fact that he is great at scoring, but he does absolutely nothing else, that's it. Don't get me wrong, that is literally the most important part of the game, without scoring, you can't win, so you need to score at least 1 goal if you want to win a game, otherwise best hope is a goalless tie.

But looking at him, and how he plays, he is nowhere to be found for 88 minutes of the game, and then for just 30 seconds he becomes the king for scoring, and then he is AFK again. That is something that started to piss people off. Nobody says he should go back and help the defense, but at least be more of a pass option too when building up the play.

If their target is a top-seven finish, what's the difference from last season? With the strength they've built this season, they should be able to achieve better results than last season, at least striving to be in the top six of the Premier League.

At the start of last season, Nottingham Forest was able to compete at the top of the table and even finished second. However, their position and performance were unstable, and ultimately, from mid-season to the end, they were unable to maintain their performance and were ultimately relegated from the UCL qualification last season. Finally, it's happening, I saw this news earlier but I didn't pay much attention to it since it's not Newcastle united, because they were the only team that has shown much interest in him, but one thing I was certain about was that, Nicholas Jackson will definitely move away from Chelsea this summer because their is no smoke without fire, but moving to Aston villa was what I didn't saw coming, but if Aston villa can complete this move, it will definitely be a good acquisition because Nicholas Jackson will flourish their since the pressure there is not on the same level as the one at Chelsea.
But nevertheless, if he can improve on his finishing, he is certainly going to be the best acquisition for this Aston villa team this summer transfer window.

Chelsea had a bad start. Such a boring effort against Crystal Palace...    But I hope to see better performances tomorrow. West Ham are a mess. We saw them against Sunderland. Chelsea shouldn't have big problems.

The EPL website displays the results of the vote for the best player in the first week. The result is that Richarlison is the best player with 27%. Perhaps this vote is not entirely accurate because it is possible that the votes were not evenly distributed and were not objective. But what do you think? Of all the players, they were indeed key players in the first match with the team.

To me I don't see westham United denying Chelsea the three points, no matter what and Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca would not want that to repeat itself, I'm certain he'd like to have his first win of the season from this Westham United game and I don't really think anything will prevent them from having it, if Sunderland can humble them that much then Chelsea can do more better, I know it's a game of football and anything can happen but the only thing that can happen here is Chelsea going home with the three points,

I also don't understand the greed by Manchester City... They've already signed James Trafford for 30m euros. They have a backup goalkeeper who is Ortega also.

Then why are they going for Donnarumma too?    I don't think Trafford would be happy about giving his starting eleven place to him.

I'd rather see Manchester United going for the Italian goalkeeper as they need the most now.

Chelsea takes on westham tomorrow , both team are desperately in need of a win with westham losing first match to the new boys sunderland and also Chelsea held to a draw by crystal palace. In a pre match conference today Enzo maresca said both Tosin and Fofana are fit and they are both expected to get minutes tomorrow. I think Chelsea will get their first win tomorrow, westham are still struggling to get rhythm to their play and Chelsea will take advantage of that tomorrow. It going to competitive and interesting, i really can’t wait to watch this one.

Chelsea not having to beat Crystal Palace in their league opener was such a wrong thing on their side, I think that would have been the game to set them on a fast pace in this just begun season but, they trashed it. Now, West Ham United is a team that has already lost its first game as opposed to Chelsea that got a draw. West Ham United certainly wouldn’t be open to loosing and though I think Chelsea could still do it, they would have some hard time making it happen.

If Chelsea had lost the first match of the Premier League then I would not have criticized Chelsea for that defeat because you cannot usually tell the future of a team by considering the result of a single match. No matter how much you criticize, I still have the old confidence in Chelsea and they have players in the club to turn things around, so they will definitely come back well. If Chelsea can qualify for the semi-finals in the Champions League next season, it will still be a great achievement for them, and in the Premier League, they will definitely compete hard with the big teams to get to the top position. Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal may be the big obstacles for Chelsea in this season of the English Premier League.
However, if they play at their best, they can defeat these big teams.

Wow, I seriously must have forgotten or I didn't realise that Jackson was once under Emery. The last notable time I really took note of Emery in La Liga was when he was in charge of Sevilla. He was the coach that broke the Europa League record of winning it 3x in a row with Sevilla. It skipped my memory that he was even a Villarreal coach. Well it might be a good move, since he has already worked with Jackson before now.

Jackson's stats was pretty good when he being coached by Emery. He scored 12 from 26 games. This far better than when he arrived at Chelsea. No doubt Emery is pushing for his former player to join in his club. Hope he can reunite with Emery again like father and son.

Newcastle performance won't really be that good without Isaak playing at the front line. His performance at the front line gives defenders challenge especially with his moves. However Liverpool defense seems not to be that good so if Newcastle should put in there best they may  end up surprising so many people. Salah is really a great player and I believe he is going to perform wonders in this match. Therefore I can really say for sure how the match is going to end but am anticipating goals from both teams.

Ederson is being shopped too, Fabrizio already entered that Galatasaray is interested, the team that won the super league and they were getting Osimhen, paid 75 million for him, and now they are trying to do better job with Ederson as well. So lets see if this would work out well enough, and if they can get Ederson.

Latest talks were that 10 million was offered by Galatasaray, but City wants 25 million, which is not really that close for the time being. If it can happen, then we can see teams get closer, like do 17 deal with 10 now 7 later etc type of some compromise between them. I am sure if they are willing, and both side wants it, they can figure out a payment structure that allows Galatasaray to get Ederson.

If you ask me I say 25 million isn’t a bad fee for Ederson, we know how good he is and how well he would improve any team he eventually joins. Galatasaray should cough out the money and get this deal through or be negotiating a fee around 20 million, that should make City accept. The transfer window has just few days before it shuts down what will be their decision?

It's a shame Man United didn't even earn a point. They played decently and created a lot of scoring chances.
They dominated in every aspect of the game except for the most important one: goals.
Then again, an early goal for Arsenal has set them more defensively, so who knows how the game would look if they decided to keep pressing for more goals. But judging by what we've seen, I think it's fair to say Man United was a better team. Are they capable of fighting for the championship? Probably not, but the top 5 is within their reach.

First time on a while I'm seeing Manchester United played so well against Arsenal. This time around I was even thinking that they will still win even after the goal from Arsenal but they disappointed despite all their dominance. Before now, Manchester United will play bad and still score against Arsenal, there last two meetings had ended in a 1 - 1 draw which meant that Manchester United didn't succumb to defeat despite been outplayed but this time around that they outplayed Arsenal they still failed to score and still lost at the end of it.

Before now it was a huge possibility for Arsenal to also play very well and still lose the game to Manchester United but after this game I can say that Arsenal have really improved mentally. They were not at their best in the game against United. Manchester United were the better side in terms of stats but Arsenal were able to win which is very important and I think that is the mentality Arsenal need if they want to compete for the league trophy this season.

At this point, Isak is still undecided whether to stay at Newcastle or move to Liverpool, but what’s interesting is that both teams will face each other in the second week. I placed the bet on Chelsea to win against West Ham, gambling is always about luck (what if West Ham do the unthinkable), but aside luck aspect, Chelsea are the better side to win tonight. West Ham United lost their first Premier League game against a team coming from the relegated zone. It's a fair judgment to book Chelsea based on superiority over West Ham, West Ham fans will be scared to bet on their fan club.

All i want is for Chelsea to win tonight, 2 goals from Chelsea, and my bet for the day is a success.

The Everton Vs Leeds game is heading towards full time draw game as I had earlier anticipated that it will happen. Most Monday night games always ends in a draw or a narrow 1 - 0 win in some cases. I will not be surprised if it ends in 0 - 0 or a 1 - 0 score line.

What an excellent performance from Leeds in the weekend to start their premier league campaign and return. They totally dominated Everton in a shocking fashion recording 21 shots to 7, they deserved to win by a better margin but were unable to convert most chances created and ended the game in a 1:0 victory. Important point gained but they need to work better on their finishing for the next games.

I dont understand Aston Villa behavior at all in the market of players, i dont know why they are gonna chase a player like Nikola Jackson instead of a player with Aston Villa background and a much better one like Grealish for example who is in a loan on Everton from Manchester City.
