Manchester City didn't have any problem with scoring goals. But this time the problem was with defending their goal post. They got ahead by 2-0 against a much smaller opponent at their home stadium but couldn't maintain this advantage in the second half. There was a huge difference between their effort in the first and second halves. 

Roy Hodgson was smiling at Guardiola in some part of the match after Guardiola got really frustrated. Guardiola was really desperate about this comeback by their opponent. People showed Rodri's absence as one of the biggest reasons for Manchester City's not being able to do anything against Aston Villa before.

But now we clearly see that it isn't actually due to the absence of only one player.

Well in this PL things can go very Much in favor of some teams that are doing well, and well when we are looking at some team I can say that in the beginning I had a favorite, Newcastle, because for me it is a team that is complete , who were Motivated , started very well and I think they can do better, the team that I did know was bad and would not improve was the MU, this team is one of the best but it is under the direction of a coach failed, and I honestly don't know how they still have it there? I don't understand it, sometimes I wonder if the team is going to continue praising me ? I say , not even with Meswsi, Haaland, others could lift this team, but not with Ten Hag, so I don't know to what extent the MU people are going to be so blind, they are out of the UCL, they were left with nothing, because in the PL they are very good , any Team can come to them , what makes me sad is that they have players who are very good and who are burning like Garnacho, Bruno Fernandez and many more who are wow.

So you mean that all this time Manchester City has really depended on De Bruyne? I excluded Haaland because of the poor performance that Manchester City has experienced since De Bruyne was hit by injury. Yes, I think City need to go into market this January to strengthen their squad because compared to last season, they don’t have quality players that can battle for the league. They actually have players that replaced the players they sold out but these new players are yet to perform well to the standard of the previous ones and together with injuries that’s why they are struggling to win matches this season.

Well I just want to let you know that luck doesn't take a team to the top 3, yes a team might be lucky in some matches but I'll rather say it is their hardwork that made it possible for them to be ahead of City currently, we all know the journey for the top four is very tough and challenging and a team has to be at it best and maintain consistency to be at the top four, and to maintain consistency you need hardwork on the pitch coupled with good strategy, maybe City depended on Debruyne too much and it's affecting them now he's not in the squad currently.

 Pep Guardiola is a very good coach and he's supposed to had prepared for situations like this, I don't think their major problem is Debruyne cause there are matches they've won very comfortably without him, if you check the matches that made them drop points you'll see it's matches they were supposed to win comfortably based on their current squad, maybe Pep Guardiola made the wrong decisions in those matches and paid for it.

City definitely looks much weaker, but that was expected because their team was getting a little too old, and they needed to change some positions, and even though they did quite alright with some of the players, the injury definitely prevented a lot of them. Look at their UCL winning eleven, and look at last weeks team, there are so many differences. No ilkay, no akanji, no kevin de bruyne, no haaland, no stones.

If he gets sick again at the end of the season, it means that Arsenal illness is very fatal, difficult to treat even if they recruit more expensive players. Talking about turning points in performance, Pep is more astute than any coach in the EPL except Unai Emery this season, City can recover quickly if De Bruyne, Stones and Halaand are available again in one lineup.
