The final round of the EFL Cup is really likely to be lovely. However Chelsea just can't beat Liverpool in such cup games for quite long. They played two final rounds against each other in the FA Cup and EFL Cup in the 2021/22 season. Liverpool beat them by penalty shoot-outs in both of the matches. Chelsea had better get well-prepared. 

I also have the feeling that Chelsea might find it difficult to win Liverpool in the match, their performances have really been poor this season. I am just surprised that they have been able to reach the EFL final, they have really been inconsistent, but I have noticed a slight improvement in their matches lately. Let's see if they will be able to surprise everyone in their match against Liverpool. Liverpool without doubt have been a better side than Chelsea since the start of the season so I'm not even surprised that a lot of people are backing them to beat Chelsea tonight at Anfield. Also this is Jurgen Klopp's last season at the Merseyside club as he's already announced that he's going to leave the club at the end of the season but that I don't think makes it impossible for Chelsea to get a result tonight against Liverpool.

Mauricio Pochentino's Chelsea have been getting good results against the traditional big clubs in England and against Liverpool tonight, they're definitely gonna put in their best to try and make sure they leave Anfield with one point at least pr better still maximum three points. It'll be a difficult game of you ask me but I think Liverpool will either win the game or draw

A pretty good comeback was shown by Tottenham in this match as they fell behind but they had the momentum in the first 15 minutes of the second half which made the advantage turn to their favor.
Although Brighton got a chance back by catching up with the second goal scored but it couldn't bring them a point as Tottenham didn't want that to happen.

Losing Son made the attacking conditions a little different although they still played very well but without Son's speed on the sidelines, Tottenham made a difference in this match. Richalrison was at least able to fill Son's void temporarily and with the 1 goal he scored, Richalrison brought Tottenham to 3 points and made them shift Aston Villa from the Champions League zone even though the points are still the same.

Tottenham really showed their class today, coming from behind to beat Brentford is a good winning for them cause Brentford might be seen as a mediocre team but can be very dangerous especially now their key player Toney is back from suspension. The 1st half was quite difficult for them, Brentford made it tough for them to find the back of the net and even score the opener, I guess that weakened the morale of Tottenham's place for some moment.

 However they realised themselves quickly in the 2nd half and that's why they replied quickly with an equalizer and scored  another one in a minute later,I guess Brentford didn't see that coming, they felt relaxed and got comfortable with the 0-1 scoreline forgetting Tottenham are currently in the top 4 and aiming to maintain that position, Ange Postecoglou knew the consequences of loosing the match and I guess he had to motivate his players in the breaktime to do better and get the 3points.

Well I can't say anything about Chelsea  , there was a Moment when they Scored the goal that they started to play very Well, but I think that the Goal by Luis Diaz , the Colombian , Already sentenced this result, so in this order of Ideas things can be very Direct In other Words , Everything is over, at least for this game for Chelsea. I think the result was or was going to be a little more balanced. Chelsea can score 3 more goals , Klopp this Time or beuno as always, he is doing wonderfully.

Chelsea's performance was very poor right from the first half Many people had hoped that Chelsea would deliver good results against Liverpool, so that can Liverpool drop some points, however their bad performance was not allowed them. Chelsea's performance this season has been significantly worse than previous, they have lost their consistency else, they could have to stopped Liverpool at Anfield. Because both Arsenal and Manchester City fans expected Liverpool to lose to Chelsea, to allowing Chelsea to take all three points. The fact that both teams are playing well makes their upcoming matchup with Arsenal difficult to predict, but I am confident that Arsenal will beat Liverpool based on their last performance against Nottingham Forest yesterday. What a horrible line up from chelsea. This club is once again repeating the same mistake again and again. Why palmer for striker? this club sucks and pochettino is sackable right now. Chelsea really needs number 9 and it doesn't even matter who is it and the club needs it right now. In addition if chelsea has a very bad coach as well. So many players were not playing at their actual positions and even some players being so wasteful like sterling which is not deserved a spot to play in the main squad anymore. Chelsea needs to get someone who can play better than this garbage sterling.

It’s just so bad, that bad! Initially, I felt Chelsea would pose much of a challenge but no, they couldn’t come up with anything great. The only time we saw Chelsea trying to posses the ball and come up with a performance was when they were already down by 3 goals. Like, what do you even need that for, you need to be going toward and get the goals.
Like, Mudryk was right there in front of goal, had all the time and space to get his ball on target but instead, he leaned backwards and set his aim to the sky. That was Chelsea been 2 goals down already.

It’s just unacceptable how the team are playing, they don’t play like professionals. I could watch a Sheffield United game and be well entertained than what am having Chelsea play.

I'm not saying Chelsea needs to take out a loan, but with Liverpool's performance, they might need to dig deep into Boehly's pocket for some top-notch defenders.

And seriously, if Chelsea spends another 500 million pounds on players, I hope they get a couple of wizards who can magically stop Liverpool's attackers or maybe a goalkeeper with invisible gloves. In my personal opinion, Chelsea's lack of shopping acumen was evident when they spent £1 billion on the transfer market, and there was no breakthrough. Chelsea does not necessarily need to spend more money to bring in an excellent goalkeeper. Instead of trying to defend, why don't we use a strategy to consolidate a strong attack, making our opponents busy on defense.
I know that despite spending a lot of money, Chelsea still lacks personnel, not just one but many positions. They need a scorer, a midfielder, and a center-back. Chelsea's attack lacks acumen, reflecting a particular disappointment for Nicolas Jackson, who has not met initial expectations. Not only that, they lack both mentally and physically and always have difficulty in fixed situations. Their players are too young. They need to bring in a player with enough experience. Be a central player to lead these young players.
