When I look at the match schedule I see that there is only one match in the Premier League today. Arsenal will play against Crystal Palace at home. Arsenal have lost points in the last few weeks and have fallen from the top of the league to 4th place. On the other hand, Crystal Palace have the possibility of being relegated to a lower league this season. After Wilfred Zaha left the team, their attacking power has weakened. They beat Brentford last week. But before that they hadn't won a game in the league for a very long time.  I think Arsenal will beat their weak opponent today. And I think Arsenal will get closer to the top of the league again.

Exactly Arsenal already has won the march with the score of 5-0. To me Arsenal are not even at the same page with crystal palace everyone knows that even from their performance you can’t even compare them although crystal palace are also try their best the only thing that I can say to crystal palace is to improve more in their performance because Arsenal has already badly beaten them in today’s match which today’s game will take Arsenal to their former position in the league Arsenal will be very happy for today’s game because the point they have lost in their previous game has been recovered today so Arsenal will be very happy to be back at the top in the table again.

I am also excited about today’s game it was such a tremendous performance from Arsenal from the beginning of the game theory start it with a full energy that make some of the fans of crystal palace to lose hope in today’s game moreover crystal palace also know that they can’t win the game but they never thought the game will end at that score the most surprising this is the last 2 goals that Arsenal scored in the extra time it was such a quick one that impressed me today all I will say is hard luck to crystal palace

Brentford FC - Nottingham Forest

I still don't understand why Brentford is being seen as the favorite when in the last 5 games they have lost in 5 games, Brentford's situation is very serious, they are close to the relegation zone, on the other side we have Nottingham Forest who are recovering from the their bad results, in the last 5 games they had 2 defeats and 2 wins and 1 draw. Since they have 2 consecutive victories, in my opinion Nottingham Forest has a good chance of winning or drawing in this game. A victory for Nottingham Forest could move them further away from the relegation zone

Nothingham away record is not that good, they have only won twice in their last 10 away games/league.
With that stat, most of betters will pick Brentford or Draw. I think that is why Brentford is still the favorite in this match, despite their bad results since early Dec.

Ivan Toney, who has returned from a lengthy FA suspension, has boosted Brentford's odds over Nottingham Forest; he is one of the best strikers in the league, and Brentford are fortunate to have him. He'll cause a lot of difficulties for Nottingham Forest's poor defense. It could be one of those goal garlor games.

The bad news for Brentford fans is that Ivan Toney will most likely move to a bigger team before the end of the January transfer window; he has stated an interest in moving, so it's only a matter of time and when the proper bid comes in.

Arsenal attack and defensive play was top notch, very good way of beating a club like Crystal palace who is not making efforts to come up the table, very poor performance from them, poor defense and poor attacking play, no confidence at all, they deserve what they got today from the gunners it was really loud to their hearing.
Even with Arsenal good performance catching up to Mancity can be assumed but not near Liverpool, I think the trophy was just left for them to lift.

Yes, Arsenal's performance has not been good recently. In the last three matches, Arsenal have always lost. Arsenal lost against West Ham and lost against Fulham. then lost again to Liverpool in the FA Cup. In the EPL, Arsenal have only won once in their last 5 matches. This poor performance left Arsenal in 4th place.

Therefore, in the match against Crystal Palace they must get 3 points so they can immediately return to the right trend. In my opinion, Crystal Palace will use a bus parking strategy to try to frustrate Arsenal so they take advantage of the counter attack. Because this way they have the hope of beating Arsenal. However, my prediction is that Arsenal will win this match with a score of 2-0, because I believe Arsenal can dismantle Palace's defense so they can score two goals.

Yes Arsenal have been on a poor run of form and yes it’s evident in their last 3-4 performances were they were dropped to 4th place in the league and trashed out of the FA Cup. The club has lacked that firing spirit and is finding it difficult to get goals in that net.

 Now luckily they’ve gotten the win against Crystal Palace and that has put them on a tie points with City and Aston Villa. Going forward I think they should build on this win so that they could challenge for the league title as we’ve still got quite some matches infront of us.Congratulations Arteta and Arsenal on the win, hope to maintain this win and then be a league contender, they recovered their hope of the title race, and now it's time to work on maintaining consistency, lets see if Arteta would work on that.

What made me proud was that Martinelli came on in the second half and that's when Martinelli was able to score in the final minute and what was great was that Martinelli's first score and the second score were only 1 minute apart and that was really great.
Arsenal can really be guaranteed to win because Crystal Palace really can't put any pressure on when playing away from home, even possession of the ball looks very different on the one hand. The pressure experienced by Crystal Palace is very deep when Arsenal continuously puts pressure on Crystal Palace's defense. .
I can see a very bad weakness in the Crystal Palace defender who always leaves space and it is easy for Arsenal players to break through and score.
From 6 kicks on goal Arsenal were able to score 5 scores and that was an extraordinary result.

What a good match to home side. It was a wonderful performance. I think this is the best performance for Arsenal in this season. Arsenal will be playing with Nottm Forest on 30th of this month, I believe this should be an easy win for them as well.

Opposite side Crystal Palace failed to score despite hundreds of attempts, as the goalkeeper of the Arsenal team managed to save the goal with ease. But the attacking department of the Arsenal team attacked very quickly and confirmed the victory with the goals, one by one, the Arsenal team scored a total of five times. I am very happy to watch this match.

I have not seen Nottingham forest like team that will defeat a Brentford, the thing is that both team is playing to defeat each other and the way Nottingham forest is playing you may think that they are of good advantages to win, but I'm seeing the match like something Brentford will not allow Nottingham forest to score them again for this second half, the first goal Nottingham forest for the first half this second half Brentford  will not allow them again to score unless its by the chance, this match the way I'm seeing it, it looks like something that will end with 1:1 or Brentford will score their second goal immediately the ending of the match

And over here, I am very sad to have missed watching this match, must have been a very interesting match to watch sincerely, if not for anything, I would have love to see how the faces of the crystal palace team players and their supporters looked while they kept conceding goals from Arsenal without any means of retaliation, as every attempt to retaliate was blocked by the Arsenal goalkeeper just as you have said.

5 goals to nothing is very shameful to say the least, but then, it's still understandable owning to the fact that crystal palace isn't such a strong club afterall, but still, looks to me like they did not prepare well for this match, because if they had prepared, they should given Arsenal a tough time, and even Arsenal was still going to win, it wouldnt be the tune of scoring 5 goals effortlessly.

I think the current Arsenal squad is very capable in all areas and it wouldn't be a problem if Arteta didn't add players in this transfer market.
It's true that at the end of the day Arsenal's front line performance has been a little doubtful because of their poor performance in the last few matches but I don't see that at the moment, overall since the start of the season their performance has been quite good so Arteta should be able to take advantage of the existing players to be able to showing his best performance like at the start of the season.

Today Arsenal hosted Crystal Palace and finally they showed their quality by a 5-0 win. The current squad might be seen as good enough against especially much weaker teams. But to keep a good level of consistency throughout a season they would really make use of some new solid players for specific areas.

You know it isn't easy to compete with a team like Manchester City for the Premier League title. Manchester City is great in every single area in its lineup. It has a really good squad depth at the same time. Do you think that Arsenal is similar to them in this way? I believe it isn't unfortunately.

Arsenal were really a better squad in this match as compared to Crystal Palace team. The away team were frustrated though but not having anything to lose still kept them playing. They’re in mid of the table and their position isn’t looking threatened yet,  however they still need to work on their performance so as not to suffer another heavy defeat in their next fixture.

 So they’re safe, though that scoreline was wild and was least of what was expected. I think the whole of Cyrstal Palace team needs to get over this heavy defeat fast and get back to winning ways. Lack of preparation is what made them concede this much, they need to get back to the training ground and prepare well and harder for the next fixture so as to make up for this heavy defeat.

The Arsenal we know always plays entertainingly like that. It feels easy to beat your opponent but unfortunately it always ends in disappointment at the end of the season.
Against Crystal Palace earlier at the Emirates, Arsenal's game was like playing in a training session so Crystal Palace didn't know how to score a goal against Arsenal.

Winning with a large goal margin really helped Arsenal to move up one place from 4th to 3rd with 43 points.
Arsenal still need victory in the next matches if they don't want to be overtaken by Aston Villa again and in order to maintain their hopes of winning the Premier League because the difference in points with Manchester City and Liverpool is not far.

The win I believe is gonna significantly improve the mentality of the club's footballers and provide them with the needed confidence to do more in their subsequent games. Arsenal might not be one of the first two favorite teams to win the English Premier League this season but I believe they're gonna fight for it till when it'll be mathematically impossible.

Great start from the first half of the season now they have scored give goals and it's another good start in the second half of the season for the gunners who struggled with the last three games they played against Fulham, West Ham and Also Liverpool in the Fa Cup Competition.
They better be consistent, I'm only bothered with how they lack a good number nine you feel me? They have struggled for years. They're not making anything Smart so far though.

During the match, I actually expected even if it's a few impressive play and shots on target from Crystal palace but they were too weak to put up a play up. A 5:0 win from Arsenal should make them feel discomfort and improve in their next match, getting much better before playing Liverpool because that may aswell be worst than this.
