At the moment I think Chelsea's strongest rival to get Osimhen is PSG, and we all know if PSG has everything Chelsea can offer Osimhen and even more than Chelsea in my opinion, Chelsea are ranked 9th in the Premier League standings at the moment, so their chances of playing in the Europa League next season are of course very small and I think of course Osimhen will refuse to play for Chelsea because after all playing in the Champions League is everyone's desire European players during this time, if Chelsea want to get great players next season, of course money is not enough as an attraction.

Chelsea - Osimhen speculations are getting more common lately. Chelsea must still have a lot of money to spend despite pouring around 1 billion euros in the recent 2 years. I don't think they would have any issues with affording him also.

On the other hand I wonder whether Chelsea would be the first option for Osimhen...  Huh  Because I think Osimhen's priority would be to play for a team that is a part of the Champions League next season.

However let's say only Chelsea made an official offer for him then I think he would rather join Chelsea instead of continuing to play for Napoli. At least he would play at the PL level which would be better for his career in the long term.  Smiley

Players like Trevor Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Conor Gallagher, and most likely Raheem Sterling has been listed to be sold out next season so they can avoid financial fair play rules, so they could clear path for those coming into the club. But most importantly, Chelsea needs to consider signing a proper tactician. Mauricio Pochetino has been way poorer for Chelsea than Graham Potter, I still can't wrap my head around how he hasn't been fucking sacked and shown the exit.

I don't wish for his downfall though, but this is the right thing to do to get results.
If Victor Oshime is to arrive in the Premier League Competition, then he would Defense play for either Chelsea or Manchester United.

There's no way on earth he would be Napoli player next season. It's eith a move back to french league which I feel like it's not the right destination for him or the Premier League Competition.

It's true what you say, indeed Arsenal this season they look good with their game and performance, although there are some matches that end with less than optimal results but I'm sure they've done their best. like when they faced West Ham, in the first leg they lost, but in the second leg they managed to turn things around very optimally in my opinion, and also when they faced United which ended in a draw it was not too bad either.

I myself believe more in City who will win the league this season. because indeed City also this season includes a team that is indeed very strong, even they can compensate for big teams like Real Madrid.
They do look better than last year to be fair, not that they looked bad last year and they almost won the title last year as well which means that they could have the same result of "almost won, but eventually lost" just like last year. However, even if that happens, we could say that they were even closer this season, they looked a lot better.

I personally believe that the best thing to do right now for them would be just ignoring the situation at hand, like not focus on how close they are, and look at every single game. If they keep focusing only game by game then they will do better but if they look at the standings then they may start to get worried, that's why they just need to take it game by game without worrying about the league table.

I also heard rumors that Chelsea really wanted Osimhen even from the previous season, but I just heard that PSG is also eyeing Osimhen. This makes sense because both teams lack sharpness on the front lines. Chelsea has a poor attacking line-up and PSG will play without Mbappe next season. If we talk about opportunities I think both teams will find it difficult to get Osimhen because he has a release clause of around 130 million euros, CMIIW. But if finances are not an issue for both teams I think this is a slightly difficult choice.

If Osimhen joins PSG of course he will be the starter replacing Mbappe. Osimhen has the opportunity to win the Ligue 1 title and it is almost certain that PSG will play in the Champions League every season. But the problem is that Ligue 1 is not as popular as the EPL. Will Osimhen feel at home playing at PSG throughout his career? I think currently playing in Ligue 1 will not make your name go down in history because PSG are so dominant that the league is not competitive.

I'm not saying Osimhen is more worthy of joining Chelsea. In fact, I think currently Chelsea is not the best choice for Osimhen. We'll see what happens in next season's transfer window.

Compared to all the teams competing for Osimhen, of course PSG is the most leading team to be able to get him, currently the rumors of Mbappe's departure to Madrid are getting stronger and only one step away Madrid will be able to get Mbappe, so inevitably they will try their best to get Osimhen as a replacement for Mbappe next season, at this time I think Osimhen's performance at Napoli is very worthy of making him choice a big team including Chelsea and Arsenal at the moment, to get a place in the first squad I think will not be a big problem for Mbappe because indeed the team that is eyeing him at the moment needs a main striker in their squad and of course that position will absolutely belong to Osimhen.

Speaking of Chelsea, maybe they will not have problems with finances, but at this time Chelsea's slumped performance in the league and also missing the Champions League next season is certainly the main consideration for Osimhen to prefer PSG as the next club, although Osimhen has a contract until 2026 with napoli, but I think Napoli will not be able to prevent PSG from getting Osimhen next season.

I don't know if Arsenal is ready enough to become EPL champions this season because last season they failed to win it and give Manchester City another chance to become champions and get the treble winner at once, I think Arteta seems to have learned from last season's mistakes and he seems to want to make amends This season, whether in the race for the EPL or UCL title, this season at least they seem hungry for victory to be able to continue to achieve their goal of winning the EPL and UCL titles, even though the competition is tight, if they have a winning mentality it will definitely be easy to overcome.
Their performance this season is much better than the previous season. They should have no problem winning the EPL this season. They also learned from their mistakes last season and I think they are also very motivated to win the EPL. I think this season is their best opportunity. They have 2 difficult games against Aston Villa and Tottenham but I think they will be able to overcome them.
City are the biggest threat like the previous season. Most people thought City would be back to back champions after Liverpool drew against United. They have a more solid squad. Competing with City means Arsenal must win all the remaining matches to secure the title.

Sure Arsenal's performance this season in the league shows how ready they are to win the English Premier League this season unlike other seasons when they will start the season with losing their first two matches then later on they will come back to winning ways and when they start getting to the middle of the season they start dropping points again, they had that similar issues last season when they were ahead of Manchester City but 10 matches left to the end of the season they dropped so many points and City took over the lead and win the league. Looking at the number of matches they have played and won and the big matches ahead of them before the end of the season,  I don't think Tottenham Hotspur nor Aston Villa can stop them from winning the league no matter where they are going to meet whether they are playing from home or away they decent performance of Arsenal only shows how prepared they are in winning any opponent they come across till the end of the season.

I will never forget what they did last season in a hurry. After which we all have the confidence that they'll be taking the top team for the English premier league title last season, they just disappointed the entire fan and even this who just supported them because Man City it turning the league into a farmers league by taking the title back to back. However all I wanted was for them to take the title and let EPL go back to the way it was were it was very competitive. Arsenal still have about 7 more matches to play before EPL Is concluded fro the season, out of which 3 are going to be tough for them, on the other hand Liverpool also seem to be the favourite of taking the EPL title but their current performance is a bit troubling, though when it comes to their remaining EPL match they are like to win the remaining games except that of Tottenham which might give them a tough time, but anyway let watch and see what the outcome will look like.

Yes PSG will be Chelsea’s major rival for the race to sign Osimhen and to be sincere even as a chelsea fan, I don’t see any chance of Osimhen dumping PSG for Chelsea though. This is because psg has the ability to offer a lucrative deal and he’ll also be guaranteed UCL football and they have higher chances of still winning the league next season again.

Chelsea on the other end might not be able to offer as much as PSG and also the club is not even sure of playoffs Europa League with the zig zag pattern of wins the clubs is having, I don’t think the chance of them in the Europa League is possible though. No footballer will throwaway UCL football and good pay to play in Chelsea at the moment though.

Though at PSG, you can be so sure that Victor will surely want to try out other challenges especially in England and as such you begin to speculate if he’ll real chose PSG at this point. Well the decision is up to him and his manager or agent to make because he ought to follow his heart in this case.

Well if I’m to help him, I’ll go to PSG and rather not sign a heavy contract that will tie me to the club so that in case he wants to leave sooner than expected it can be a reality. Heavy contract duration has been the problem of most footballers currently and I think he can take a cue from this fact and make his decision.

Have you seen this announcement?

It looks like the semi-automated offside technology is coming to the Premier League as well next season. As far as I can remember we saw this being used in the latest World Cup first. This is a good technology to make a decision on if it is offside faster.

However Premier League referees might still find a way to make a wrong decision though.  Tongue
This is a good technology that we have seen how it works during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the technology has helped a lot of referees to perfect their job.

This offside technique will only work on detecting offside from various angles that referees might not be able to see, it cannot be used to check penalty or some incident because that’s what VAR is in charge of.

Premier League referees with their selfish interest will find a way to abuse it because we have seen so many cases where the premier league referees do make errors while playing in the game and apologize after the match , but the technology works for the betterment of officiating the premier league matches.

Many teams are currently fighting for Osimhen and not just Chelsea, currently PSG, Arsenal and even Manchester United are reportedly quite interested in signing Osimhen next season
We can understand if many teams want to sign Osimhen because he is one of the best strikers in the world. His transfer fees are also quite affordable if we compare with Mbappe and Haaland. I think Napoli can consider to sell Osimhen if there is an offer around €150m. Meanwhile Mbappe and Haaland, their transfer fees must be above €200m. Another reason, the chance to sign Osimhen looks higher than other top strikers.

At the moment I think Chelsea's strongest rival to get Osimhen is PSG, and we all know if PSG has everything Chelsea can offer Osimhen and even more than Chelsea in my opinion
I don't think Chelsea can compete with PSG. Chelsea has no reason for it, they won't play in UCL or UEL in the next season. Chelsea is also just an average team in EPL now. Sure, Osimhen must be better to move to PSG. In PSG he can have a chance to win varied prestigious trophies. He also may get a higher salary in PSG because it is one of the richest clubs in the world.

As a matter of fact, I am eager to see Victor Osimhen leave Napoli because his growth is what I'm rooting for and being in Napoli doesn't seem to be enough of opportunities and future for him there. So moving him away from that place to another more comfortable place would be the best thing to do.

In Chelsea or Manchester United, Victor Osimhen will be playing with a lot of A-list clubs in the world to fight for their Premier League and subsequently Champions League competitions. But Osimhen also needs a club that is highly promising and a club that would not practice racism or discrimination against him. If I were him, any next contract I'm signing, I would probably include some clauses that have to do with identity protection amongst people.

I myself believe more in City who will win the league this season. because indeed City also this season includes a team that is indeed very strong, even they can compensate for big teams like Real Madrid.

In terms of revenue generation, Man City and Real Madrid are pretty much on the same level [source]
I also have a feeling that City will defend the league title this season. They seemed to have a little dip in performance some time ago but looks like they got a second wind. They also have probably the easiest league games left as compared to Liverpool and Arsenal. There are still 7 rounds to go, so probably all 3 will lose at least some points in a way, so the most consistent team will grab the title.
Liverpool got a surprising beating at home from Atalanta, which could be a sign of end-of-season fatigue. Klopp leaving the club after the season end doesn't have a positive impact on morale either.

Making a move is definitely the best option for his development and ambition, because Napoli won't always play in Champions League. Osimhen needs a team that keep playing at the highest level of football to fulfill his potential. Unless he prioritizes money, I don't think Manchester United and Chelsea are the best option for him, because the clubs have almost no chance to play in Champions League. The two clubs are also not the best place to have development of his talent and career. Manchester United already have Hojlund at the position that makes Osimhem have no guarantee to be a starter, while Chelsea is a struggling team to develop a striker.

Osimhen has capability and style of play to flourish in Premier League. I think Arsenal is the best option for him because they need a striker desperately. This provides the best chance for him to develop with a good environment under Arteta. Arsenal have also high ambition and will play Champions League next season. But everything depends on opportunity and and his will on what kind of career path he wants to have.

I think most of the people that want to see Victor Osihmen move is because they want him to go to a new league or a club where he is treated equally or at least protected or supported in the face of racism from the fans. Even at that Victor Osihmen will still have to make a choice of club where is growth is also possible like winning trophies, winning personal accolades and the rest. Osihmen already had said he love the both clubs Manchester United and Chelsea because as a Nigerian he grew up with this clubs been the biggest fan base. Yes if he moves to any of this clubs he will definitely be cherished most especially if he brings the A- game or performance he gives at Napoli to the club. But right now it seems both club wouldn’t be able to get him because he is rumored to have agreed personal terms with PSG and if it’s true is still a great deal to me.

But should he decide to pick any of the clubs Manchester United or Chelsea, I will say pick Chelsea instead as they seems to be having a trouble time getting a proper striker since Osihmen’s Idol Drogba left, at Manchester United they already have a striker who to me seems like a good fit for them and will only be needing a second striker for just cup games and probably few other games. Also the clause you talk about will be great but clubs can’t signed that because they can’t control the fans who throw this racist chants at the players

The remaining matches can become the hardest match for arsenal to win consdering the fact if all of clubs will be also trying so hard in winning the game soon. Arsenal have several games left before it will able to get PL trophy and the only chance for arsenal to get its PL trophy after two decades by winning all of remaining matches.
I don't really care about what happened to the club and arsenal must put this as its main target considering that it has bottled EPL last season. It will be so damn stupid if arteta will repeat the last season's result.

Even if Manchester United has plans of sacking him, they can't introduce a failed manager like Graham Potter as replacement for Erik Ten Hag. That would be ridiculous!

It actually would be ridiculous if Man United decides to do away with Ten Hag and goes ahead and selects Graham Potter to be his replacement. I wouldn’t exactly call him a failed manager although his time at Chelsea haven’t been rosy either.
He definitely wouldn’t be a good pick in my opinion. He would probably be more clueless and probably struggle a great deal more than Ten Hag has. His services as a manager would not be able to give Man United a much needed face lift.

Even though there are still several coaches who are better than Graham Potter, why is Manchester United targeting coaches who don't have good experience when coaching English clubs, because Graham Potter has coached Brighton and Chelsea, but these two clubs also performed poorly when they coached him. Manchester United should not think about replacing the role of Erik Ten Hag with Graham potter as manager of Manchester United, it is possible that Manchester United's performance will decline further and will experience a fate similar to that of Chelsea before. Indeed, if have not tried Manchester United management will not know what will happen to club and will definitely be curious about What would Graham Potter do if he coached Manchester United to replace Erik Ten Hag.

It is true that the strategy used by Erik Ten Hag was not very effective at Manchester United, but in my opinion it is better to retain Erik Ten Hag before finding a coach who is suitable for Manchester United rather than making decisions too hastily which will cause Manchester United's performance to decline further, it would be very sad if Manchester United's performance is getting worse and they will be increasingly left behind by city rivals Manchester City who are performing well in the Premier League because they have a great coach and potential players.

Saka should receive yellow card for diving.

Arsenal should be grateful they didn't lose that match because Bayern Munich would have scored 3 goals because Gabriel picks up the ball in penalty box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HStHyBX5owQ

This is really unfair for Bayern Munich, since we already know the quality of both teams, I won't be surprised Bayern Munich will win the second leg.

~~

Have you seen this announcement?

It looks like the semi-automated offside technology is coming to the Premier League as well next season. As far as I can remember we saw this being used in the latest World Cup first. This is a good technology to make a decision on if it is offside faster.

However Premier League referees might still find a way to make a wrong decision though.  Tongue

I think it would be interesting if the offside technology was used in the Premier League. We saw in the FIFA World Cup that many websites were caught using this technology and many people liked it. By using this technology it is possible to catch the offset quickly, and it will be a good decision for every team, then all the players will be playing off site. However, many times in the Premier League we can see that the referee continues the game without catching this off site, which is actually a mistake. And if technology is used, it's very difficult to miss and the referee won't make a wrong decision, I think it will be great.

Lol, that would be very funny if it happened and I support your opinion that it is very unreasonable even though Man United had to change their coach, not retain Ten Hag but choose Graham Potter, it's like just changing the name of the coach but the way to manage the team is the same as Ten Hag.
I just think why there are very funny rumors like this linking Graham Potter with Man United when this team needs a quality coach with very good experience like Mourinho who currently doesn't have a team to coach or Zidane who could also be given an offer but the media chose to associate it with Graham Potter.

Man United condition is currently in a very bad condition, but the management must be careful in managing finances and choosing the right coach and the right players and if management can choose the right coach, they can definitely bring in better players and make a difference to Man United performance in the future.
I would agree more if Man United tried to let Ten Hag go by making an offer to Mourinho.

I strongly agree united to sack ten hag but i also strongly disagree if united recruit another flop like graham potter with his potter ball. Potter never had an impressive result in managing the club. Even the moment when he was still managing brighton is also a common thing since brighton was at the mid.
I strongly believe recruiting graham potter means another blunder for manchester united at this moment. Potter is another flop and how can management has a logic to replace a flop with another flop?

It sounds terrible to hear that considering united needs someone who can build a perfect club efficiently.

If Manchester United do away with Ten Hag and choose Graham Potter over Ten Hag, that means the performance of Manchester United will be as plant with a stunted growth, you can cross check the time Graham Potter is the coach of Chelsea, was it be able to change the situation of Chelsea, the answer is no, for me Gram Potter needs more training towards coaching institute because all the time he stays in Chelsea their was nothing positive in that particular club, so if Manchester United want to be going low in every of their matches they should go ahead and choose Graham Potter over Ten Hag
