OK so Vinícius. 22 goals and 14 assists last year, showed up at the World Cup too. The guy is elite. But the real issue with Arsenal this season was not that they were not scoring. They could not break teams down when sides parked the bus. They would be able to dominate possession and create nothing against a low block. Vinicius puts that right with his run-on-the-people. Exactly, Arsenal’s pattern of play is not favorable for strikers, they have been playing without a striker for long, so they will have to adapt to playing with striker since they now have one; that was why Victor Gyokeress struggled last season, but he can improve because he has started to improve before the end of last season. Manchester United are improving also and they'll try their best to finish in a very good position next season. This is why I call Liverpool's performance unpredictable. Liverpool is more interested in playing by positioning the ball from the beginning. But while maintaining the ball positioning, they cannot easily stop the opponent's counter attacks. If they somehow manage to score a goal, they become overconfident. Because of becoming confident, they cannot maintain their form properly. Even while controlling the ball, they lose control at the wrong time and in the end, they lose the match. The system needs changes because Arsenal tried to dominate the game, which led to Odegaard always bringing the ball back to the defense instead of taking it forward.

I think they've been able to replace Trevor Chalobah with the signing of Maxence Lacroix from Newcastle but their most important and consistent defender in the last two seasons, Marc Cucurella I don't think has been replaced.

They signed Marco Palestra who's a natural right back or can still play as a right wing back. We still have up to 27 to the end of the current transfer window, so Chelsea have enough time to replace Cucurella as well as make more additions.

Football is not always like that, Manchester City and Liverpool could as well become stronger than what your imagining. The other clubs are tightening their leakages and correcting the mistakes they had last season, Manchester United is another strong opponent that's your not taking cognizance of, now that they've qualified for champions League, they are all geared up for show down come next season.

You're on point about Liverpool's habit of letting games slip. They get a lead, ease off and end up paying for it. It happened too many times last season, the games they should have comfortably closed out turned into draws or losses.

It's not about luck or fixing. It's a mentality thing. When you stop pushing and start playing safe, you give the other team belief. No matter whatsoever plans a club has, lossing someone like Cucurela in the defence is considered a big loss. If I were Chelsea I would have kept that guy for any cost. But I know the problem, when Real Madrid comes knocking, no player refuses . For the case Chalobah, I honestly didn't know he has been sold also. I wonder Chelsea's plan for next season, like which other defenders did they buy?

I agree with you, legendary players from strikers will be much more difficult to replace but however if they choose to make changes on the defense it’s going to affect the conception of goals but will increase the chance of them wining more because strikers will be more strong and effective over the defense. So that would not be a bad choice for Chelsea management.
