Well, changing coaches alone isn't a guarantee for performance improvement. From what I have seen so far, Manchester united haven't made any significant buys this season—just Santos, and Tielemans are the only decent signings—and having an addition of good players with a good coach is the perfect combo for a better result.

I feel Manchester United not signing much players this season is just going to affect them, I was thinking they going to improve some positions which they are weak by signing some players, but they didn’t spend so much during the transfer window. If you properly check Manchester United squad, you going to see that it’s not so strong, and that’s why their performance has not been so satisfying in the premier league, just imagine if the other competitions which they will be participating in start, how is Carrick going to properly manage the players they are having now. I just think Manchester United performance is going to drop more when other competitions start.

They actually did buy three midfielders even though i expected them to buy at least a defender but they didn’t and as it is now, Man U defense is not really looking tight at all IMO and it’s kinda affecting them in some ways.
Luke shaw is like the only senior defender there but we all know about his injury record so he’s not gonna be doing much for them, that’s for sure.

I heard Man U wanted to buy Lewis Hall from Newcastle but the refused to sell him and Man U probably didn’t want to settle for short term or average alternatives that’s why they’re stuck with the same shaky backline while the fixture list get heavier with Champions league and Cups.

i have said this before that Benjamin Sesko is not really fit to be Manchester united finisher though he may have saved them or score goals in some critical moment but that does not still change the fact that he is not that good for the team. if Michael Carrick is unable to save Manchester united this season from their setbacks then their problem will be a very critical one that may take years or season to repair but i have the feeling Michael Carrick will deliver them.

Are you being serious? How is Sesko not good for Man United? Amongst United's forwards last season, he was given fewer minutes, and he got 10 goals, the same as Cunha. This season, he started most of the matches from the bench, and so far he has played in fewer games and fewer minutes, and yet he has 2 goals to his name. One in the Champions League and one in the league. Against City, Sesko was on the pitch for just 30 or 25 minutes, and you are administering blame on him. You should blame Carrick instead for not starting him.

Tottehem Hotspur needs all the backlash from their fans because the board, the manager, Roberto de Zerbi and the players should come out and explain to me how they're unable to gain 3 solid points this season? They've been competing but this season have been completely pure dominance from their oppositions and today, Spurs are not even eligible to accumulate the least winning with average sides.

I'm curious,nif Tottehem Hotspur are finding it extremely difficult to win against average sides, what makes them believe they stand a chance to win when they face elite sides? For God's sake, they need to start doing better because it's no longer funny to see a team like Tottehem Hotspur spending high figures in the transfer window and ending up not been able to perform.

This is a sad experience for any football club to have and for the fact that they are unable to win a game this season is very devastating considering the fact that they have spent a lot during the transfer window and they are yet to see any results is sad and I understand what the fans are passing through now. What they might be experiencing might be because of tactical issues or they are yet to understand each other as a team and perform to the full potentials bit regardless of the issue at hand, they will need to get it right as a team and that should happen soon so that they can have a chance to better compete for the title and not just fighting not to be relegated.

Manchester United has been playing very badly since the beginning of this season and I am very surprised,  because they ended well last season. I think they played badly in the Manchester derby,  because I really don't understand how they will lose the game even with Manchester city playing a man down for almost all the match. We can all attribute the loss to Michael Carrick,  but I think Manchester United have a lot of average players that is not helping the team, so I think the blame should go to the board that has refused to invest in the team, so changing manager is not the solution if the board is not ready to invest in the team.

So disappointing, this Micheal Carrick is beginning to have a questionable character, like what some rival fans was saying last season is beginning to manifest, many people believe if Michael Carrick should be given the job permanently, he won't know how to manage it, and with the look of things that's what I'm seeing now, Manchester United management actually gave him his desired players in the just concluded transfer window, so what is the problem with him, if he continues like this he might end up not making it to the top four this season.

There case has become a puzzle that some of us can't read or unfold. What they hell is wrong with the club? They used to be one of the big teams previously, and when they meet other big teams, it becomes a clash of the Titans, but today, it's the other way round. Almost every team wins them. Them still playing in the top flight of English football this season is a miracle. I don't really know who to blame for there predicaments, either the board, manager or players. They better think fast, if not, last seasons miracle may not happen again to them. They might not escape relegation this time again.

I don't think i would blame the board because they have provided all the necessary resources that the coach requested to develop his team that is why I don't blame them, instead tottenham predicament should be blame on their coach because they gave him enough money to buy players which he did but the problem is those signings have not been productive. If the board have released funds for you to buy players and you bought players that aren't productive,then the fault is you. Tottenham coach has to sit up because all eyes are on him,the board aren't happy with him they might sacked him if his team doesn't improve..

Manchester United is under a lot of pressure now. Last season we also saw Real Madrid's bad form. And Madrid was given a lot of time that season by relying on the new coach. But Real Madrid could not show their improvement in that season. Manchester United is currently in a similar situation. Despite making some big signings at the beginning of the season, they are not able to perform very well on the field. I will blame Michael Carrick on this one, this defense issue happened to be one of his worse mistake he's made on the just concluded transfer window, he was just focused on replacing a particular player uncle Case, not reasoning that he will have to sort other positions in the team, he was so focused on defensive midfielders, now not looking at the defense line is costing him a lot right now, and again after Newcastle united rejected their offer on Lewin Hall, for a left back, Balde of Barcelona was available but he was adamant of that, now he's regretting it.

It's a simple philosophy if your rivals have a strong and tall striker like Haaland then you should sign the same kinda profile striker and Sesko is physically same as Haaland but they are not much mature as Haaland has. I think you're perfectly right the most painful position for any football club is always losing, most of the time most clubs spend more in the windows and then hope for expectations just to go high up the sky, and then after all this the team can’t go win one game it really heartbroken at some point it really devastating because money doesn't instantly buy chemistry. In my opinion, that would be a flawed strategy because every team has different needs. Some teams require a target-man striker like Haaland, while others want a versatile forward like his backup, Julian Alvarez, it depends on the team's specific requirements. Making signings based on the opponent is not the right approach. The priority is to elevate the team's level through transfers. That is why Premier League clubs constantly strive to make the best possible signings and face heavy criticism when they fail to do so after paying exorbitant fees.

First of all we can start by saying that the board at Manchester United let Micheal Carrick down because with what he achieved last season having taking the club from 15th position to 3rd place finish be deserve more than what they gave him in the transfer window. We saw even promoted teams coming to the Premier league spending more on transfer than Manchester United, we all saw how they have had a full back problem and the club didn’t deem it necessary to sign them this season. This is why I will blame this failure more on the club because once there is competition players will most definitely get to step up in their games.

Then there is Carrick himself playing a formation which didn’t play last season, i don’t understand why he caj beg his playing pattern and starting eleven, it is not rocket science that Matheus Cunha would never work at that false 9 so why force it out. The club has two strikers why not trust them a little
