To be somewhat that addicted then yes, but in a controlled manner because not all would really be able to reach out such state on making themselves considered to be that successful if they arent really that good when it comes to gambling. Yes, they are addicted but in a controlled manner because once you do able to reach out this state then you had already overcome that kind of possible addiction and being that emotionally impulsive on which this is the common behavior of most addicts but for those who had able to reach out this state then they had already overcome and able to control themselves. Yes, maybe more precisely we can say the keyword "success" is the same as professional. Professional gamblers are different from most gamblers, like us, who only play gambling just for fun and not trying to chase victory. And I would say that successful gamblers are those who can control themselves in every gamble, whatever conditions they experience there, win or lose, the limits are always there for them. This is because they already have full screen time as a gambler so they already understand the various conditions there and if they go against that limit then their losses will increase. We can define a successful gambler in many ways and different definition, But I will share my own opinion on this as an occasional gambler.  Successful gambler for me is not just because winning all the time it’s all about how you control gambling and how you think about it, if you know it’s only a way of having some fun and not going so far and spending all your day gambling and trying to win then everything is good and doesn’t really matter if you win that much as long as you don’t waste and spend your hard earned money gambling and getting yourself into bad financial situations.
When someone start gambling at the beginning and get lucky winning then doesn’t stop thinking he will be always winning or think himself so lucky in that game, that where the biggest issue starts and develop an addiction and once he lose some money thinking that he will surely get back home rich he will blindly spend his money for more sessions until he empty his pocket and stay always on that mindset of getting rich one day and any good money he gets from work or loans he start spending them in gambling. Just like any addiction that it’s goal is reaching the same dopamine dose and adrenaline rush while gambling, In fact it’s not at all about winning or losing as long as there is that feeling of euphoria while gambling and risking.

I think that successful gamblers are those who are able to control themselves with some restrictions that they have set up in each of their gambling, this is the right statement.
