If a person fully addected with gambling then the person can't left it easyly. For that reason in our country in slum area the illiterate people's play psychical gambling. All experience knowledges not come in one day. For that a gambler suffer a lot. In my mind a successful gambler is someone that somehow makes a big win over time or at once, and then they simply quit gambling for good with the win.

So, they are not a gambler anymore, therefore not addicted to it.

Now, if they keep playing then they are addicted, because the most likely scenario is that they will lose their winnings over time.
