Casimero is just surrounded by unprofessional people some of them are ready to exploit and his lifestyle made it worse. Even after the Butler cancellation, it took nearly a year for Casimero to fight again. Whereas Tapales after becoming overweight in his supposed WBO 118 title defense, move up right away in his next fight which made Tete the interim champion elevated as the new WBO champion which he later lost to Casimero.

Meanwhile, Casimero should continue to stay active because once Inoue becomes undisputed, I believe he is the main target of the first undisputed title defense and there is no chance of saying no once that opportunity comes. If in case Tapales becomes undisputed, the more Casimero needs to stay active to force a mandatory shot probably via WBO since the IBF and WBA already had their mandatories waiting to be announced.

I like the idea of Inoue staying in the division to defend his belts. Nery is banned from fighting in Japan due to his failed drug test and missing weight against Yamanaka. Inoue will have to either fight him in the US or fight Casimero instead. I think many Japanese people would like to see Inoue avenge their countryman, but there is also those who believe a dirty fighter like Nery doesn’t deserve another opportunity.

I have said this in my previous post that the plan of Team Inoue is to unify the super bantamweight division and defend the belts once against Nery or Casimero so if the former has a questionable reputation and banned from fighting on Japanese soil then this makes Casimero the probable opponent whenever Tapales lose this fight. It may also be a welcome sight for Japanese fight fans if indeed Casimero will be the challenger as they want Inoue to punish him as a vengeance to all the Japanese that Casimero defeated.

IMO, Casimero is the only fighter in this division who has a higher chance of defeating Inoue.

Perhaps it might be competitive early, but as the rounds goes by, Inoue could possibly caught Casimero my surprised, just like what the did to Fulton. So not sure how Casimero will overcome the advantage of Inoue, tough chin, faster hands and obviously the power behind those jabs might take a toll on him the later rounds.

And it's better to see Nery vs Casimero first, this is going to be explosive fight and whoever wins then go straight to Inoue as his first defense. However, I don't see any present breed of super bantamweight to beat Inoue, Naoya is even taller than Casimero and Nery.

That is also what I have in mind that a Luis Nery vs John Riel Casimero fight should happen before this year ends because they are the only ones who got more chances to face Inoue regardless of their current ranks and it's quite obvious that WBC will be the first body to order a mandatory title defense fight because their names are pop out.

Also, I believe that Casimero knows the gravity if ever he will have the chance to fight Inoue and I don't even doubt that he is watching Inoue closely in his every fights as he still got some hopes that someday, his time will come and at that time, his fight with Inoue will be imminent and inevitable. At the same time, I don't think that Casimero will just play around because it will be his best chance to show the world what he is made of.

Trying out to compare about their main differences and advantages then Inoue does have the upperhand. The thing on which i do really appreciate the most is on the IQ of Inoue on which he could really make out adjustments on the time that he do able to examine out on what his opponent been doing. If he do find out that the other boxer is really that kind of running type or inclose or infighting then he would really be having that particular strategy for that and with those fast and sharp punches then you could really be able to tell that you cant really be able to last up on later round. Be watchful with those uppercut lower blows as these
punches are usually be trying out to pierce out even on early rounds but since defense getting weaken as later rounds would be running then time comes that it would really be able to connect out.
As talking about toughness of chin then i could say that Inoue does have it, we've seen that he could take up some damage and this is why i dont really see for Casimero could easily beaten up Inoue.
There are lots of talks and bashes about Inoue's fight performance came from Casimero but i doubt that he would be able to have a chance.

Anyhow, we can only see if Tapales will surprise us with an upset win although technically, Inoue really dominated him at everything.

I hate to say this but Tapales will just hand over the title to Inoue, in their meeting after Inoue's win against Fulton Tapales did not show confidence that he could beat Inoue, compared to Casimero who keeps daring him to fight him, its already given that Inoue will become the undisputed Super Bantamweight champion without serious opposition from anyone, he will sweep it and move on the higher division for more challenges, it's easier to make a plan when you are as good as Inoue.

Man, even if Tapales shows interest in his demeanor, I will still have the same views with this match up. Obviously, Tapales is a mismatch against Inoue, in all aspects. In fact there will be a huge chance for Inoue to knock him out if he will not change his fighting stance which is too open for Inoue has the speed and power.
I don't know what else to say here, but goodluck for Tapales facing the toughest opponent he'll ever have for the rest of his career, most probably. If he wins, it could be one of the biggest upset in boxing history.

Exactly my thoughts, even if he adapts a different fighting stance to cover up for this fight it still wouldn't be enough given that Inoue is just leagues better than him as a fighter. If he does win this which is a big if, seeing as how everything is literally stacked against Tapales fight-wise this will not just be a massive upset in Inoue's part, this will definitely go down in the history of boxing. But oh my god does this look like a fight that Tapales cannot win even if he wanted to, which at this state isn't even something that we're guaranteed of anymore given the fact that Tapales is just not confident about winning this bout. It's gonna be another Nonito Donaire I guess lol. But I really hope they give us both a fight that we can enjoy.

There's a possibility that we will witness the same, but one thing I'm sure about Tapales is that he will come to fight. He is not like other boxers who will just fight Inoue and hope to survive. Both Tapales and Inoue are considered warriors, and obviously, Inoue has the upper hand since he has more advanced skills and power. However, you never know, upsets can happen in boxing.

Although Tapales is a Filipino, it doesn't mean we should blindly support him. As gamblers, we know that if he weren't a Filipino, we would choose Inoue as he is the better fighter. I'm speaking from the standpoint of a gambler rather than just a pure fan.

Did he mean another Filipino knockout for Inoue? It's possible, but I doubt that it will 2nd round knockout. For sure Tapales, has witnessed Inoue's power first hand so they might devised a different strategy in this fight. But it could be the same results though.

There are really fans that supports and backs their boxers, not matter what. Even if they blindly bet for their guy to win, even if the odds are pretty much stack against them, just like in this case and you can't blame them for supporting Tapales to go and win in an upset.

I don't konw if Tapales can make the right strategy to beat Inoue, as the latter is a difficult opponent to defeat. Inoue possesses both power and speed, and on top of that, he has a high ring IQ, enabling him to make adjustments during the fight to ensure victory. Tapales might have been lucky when he beat Murodjon Akhmadaliev, but it's unlikely to happen against Inoue.

Did he mean another Filipino knockout for Inoue? It's possible, but I doubt that it will 2nd round knockout. For sure Tapales, has witnessed Inoue's power first hand so they might devised a different strategy in this fight. But it could be the same results though.

Yes, and it's different that you see him fight, even at a closer look and says that you see some flaws in games. As compare to be with him in the ring, with just the 2 of you dancing around. You can ask Fulton about that, initially he said that he is not afraid to go toe to toe and be technical.

But when they are in the ring, he is reluctant to throw a punch because he is afraid of the counter and the power. So it's very hard to see what kind of right strategy Tapales will do against the Monster and it seems that we don't have the blue print yet on how to defeat him.

Yup we can call it a mismatch, even with Fulton, who we thought could be the bigger guy as he is a natural super bantamweight and has been in tough fight was no match to the monster.

And with that kind of performance and what Tapales has shown, it's hard to see how Marlon can put up a big upset here. He really need to be in top shape, super fast and power in both hands. But he is not a natural power puncher and everything points to Inoue to win in another spectacular knockout.

Yes. Top shape, in condition, in rhythm, and everything needs to be perfect for Marlon Tapales to win this fight.
I am a Filipino and I don't underestimate him because I want to support Filipino boxers as they are the real chance of Filipino pride. We cannot do anything with basketball but we can do something in boxing and many Filipinos have already proven that.

I won't bet for Inoue, I promise that. But, I want to see more of Tapales showing how creative he will be in defeating the Monster. He ain't a bad fighter and defeating him will make this another achievement for us. As a gambler, they say not to be emotional but this fight is way far from that. It's about supporting your countryman against another so without a doubt I will take whatever underdog odds they will give.

Even though that guy is underdog for sure he will exert more efforts in this fight since if he could able to defeat Inoue then this is a big achievement of his boxing career and he might gain outrageous fame for defeating the Japanese monster they call.

Yep! Just a lucky solid conversion will change his career. I mean, being an underdog doesn't mean that you automatically lose the
fight even it's not started yet.

All are speculations and will going to depend on how each fighter will do their extra work to train hard and prepare for the upcoming event.

Both are champ and who knows if what fate will bring to Tapales, a win will surely change his lifestyle.

Inoue is too smart to relax and give Tapales the confidence in this fight. On the contrary, as this is for the unified belt at super bantamweight, Inoue might train harder as he wants to be the second man to become a unified belt holder in 2 division. Recently, Crawford did that against Spence and annex his 3 belt.

And as much as we wanted to support Marlon Tapales as he has 2 great fights and he was the underdog in those fights but he manage to bet the odds and win. But not this time though, as Inoue will have all the advantages, just saying.

I know that he got the other two belts and he deserve that, no doubt but that is the end of him because Inoue is now coming to take those belts away from him. Looking at Tapales is like seeing Paul Butler at 122 pounds.

I've read a news article today stating that Marlon Tapales is not happy on the money offer of Inoue's camp, this might cause the cancellation of this fight in Team Inoue would not give in to the demand of Team Tapales.

I sympathize to the Filipino's camp because like Inoue, he is also a champion and the holder of the WBA and IBF belt, though not a crowd drawer but still he should some ample share of the pie not pay them pennies.

Just forgot the link but i will share once i find it.

Every fighter has their own strategy and technique which means both fighter had a chance of winning once they have the momentum and found the open spot to their opponent.  Without a doubt this fight is too close as we all know that both fighters are champions and they have their belt do protect no matter what happens.  Maybe in the first round inoue will have the momentum but one thing for sure a Filipino is a Filipino Tapales will show who he is.

Well, to be honest, I cannot say that I'm shocked about this news because knowing Bob Arum, he will surely take advantage of everything including shortchanging Inoue's opponents even if they are champions like Tapales in this instance. And if I'm not mistaken, Tapales is with Sean Gibbons of MP Promotions, and we know what's the history between both promoters which I think is part of the reason why they have come to this situation.

Tapales should not allow this because he deserved to be treated as a champion. It might be the biggest paycheck in his career but he surely know what he deserves and being shortchanged is an insult. In the end, Inoue's camp will be forced to give what Fulton wanted because Inoue cannot unite all four belts if they lack two of those belts which are being held by Tapales.

Inoue's team will be forced to follow Tapales' team for the pot adjustment if they want to unite all 4 title belts in this division, if they did. Tapales should not allow something like that because he is obviously earned and own the two of these belts.
