I've seen the previous fights of Tapales, I can say he is a good boxer but still not enough to beat Inoue. I hate to say this but I don't think he will stand a chance to defeat Inoue (their boxing records says it all). Inoue is an accurate puncher and fast, by far the best fighter Tapales will face if ever.
This is not official yet, right? So if this happen before the last quarter ends, Tapales and his team have still time to train him hard in order to beat the monster. Nevertheless, as you've said, if ever, the price pot and pride are what he can earn after fighting Inoue.
I believe most of us would agree that Inoue is an exceptionally dominant fighter, and aside from Casimero, there might not be any other boxer with the potential to upset Inoue. No disrespect to Tapales, but he seems to have emerged suddenly after a controversial victory. However, I'm still not impressed with his style, which I think Inoue could easily exploit for defensive weaknesses. The outcome appears to be quite predictable due to Inoue's aggressive approach. It's possible he could secure an early KO or achieve it in the later rounds, but in my opinion, an early KO is more likely. Casimero also has a fight coming up. Who knows, if Casimero wins and Inoue also wins his fight, Inoue might consider Casimero as a challenger. That way, everyone would be happy. Tapales is still great in his own regard. He has the speed though I can't comment much on his punching power. He can keep up with Inoue, although if the Japanese decides to just go and straight up beat Tapales by sending in a flurry of punches, then Tapales would have no chance to win this fight. I'm sure Inoue doesn't want this bout to go the distance, so he'll made sure to get the KO as early as possible.

Like what you said, Tapales might have the speed but the puncher power Inoue may absorb it and continue to corner Tapales. We will see whatever the possible outcome once they already close the deal and start hyping this unification fight.

We will see whatever the possible outcome once they already close the deal and start hyping this unification fight. Well, when it comes to Inoue, things can be very varied, because Inoue is a very seasoned boxer, it doesn't matter how strong his opponent is or how serious his speed is, I'm sure that Inoue already has the great strategy for him, without However, Inoue is a boxer who trains every day, his discipline is something that not everyone can compete at his pace and be at his level, there are few boxers who stay in shape and fight very hard every day, some They are more aware of other things, of making money, of doing other things on social networks, and of being aware of what other things they can dedicate to life, some boxers are dedicated to provoking others, others on social networks, there are many things to say that they always manifest themselves, but the most likely thing is that while the others do that, Inoue is training hard, in fact if he wins, he will face the toughest in the category, he will be able to face any other boxer he knows that things can be above him and rise in category even if he has to give up belts, titles and everything in the category, he has already shown that he is capable of doing it. On the other hand, Tapales does have good speed and a very hard punch, because he has to strengthen all that even more if he wants to play a good role against Inoue, because Inoue is capable of finding the perfect strategy so that he can get ahead and is capable of turning everything around. His favor, because normally boxers who are very strong and very fast do not have as much resistance, if he takes them to 12 rounds in the last few rounds Inoue can bring out all his power and if Tapales is neglected he can even knock him out, Inoye is yes as a calculator, then the best strategy of Tapales tkla has to develop in his training, and that training will be very hard, because considering how Japanese he is, he must have a punic discipline and absolute preparation, so every day is an opportunity for him to become much stronger.

On the other hand, Tapales does have good speed and a very hard punch,
Just like i said before, no matter how good Tapales is, this is Inoue's game, i mean This unification fight if pushes through is for Inoue to win and all they need to do is pay Marlon Tapales the right amount for them to get the Filipino fighter's nod. Just a little trivia about Tapales, on his last fight against Akhmadallev, he change is fighting style to a counter-puncher which i think surprise the latter and never got the chance to adjust and this ultimately give the win to Tapales and who knows that he could surprise Inoue the same way he surprised Akhmadallev.

Power of Tapales might be underrated, but as you have said, he just toyed with Akhmadallev and counter him all night during their fight. And even though Tapales was caught several times, he has a good chin and then just used that counter very often that Akhmadallev become confused on the fight. And the awkwardness of Tapales might be a plus for him in this fight. As Inoue is known to face technical fighters and so he is ready on what they are going to throw on him. But if Marlon is a very boxer that Inoue was expecting, it could be a very hard fight, just saying.

We're all expecting another huge Inoue win here but it's also interesting to predict how the fight goes on. Tapales might be too underestimated here just like when Iron Mike underestimated his opponent during his fight in Japan which cost him his undefeated record. It's a good thing that Tapales can shift from an aggressor to a counter-puncher and also he can be awkward. These are very much needed in order to confuse Inoue. Maybe Tapales is once again developing another strategy that is something new. Tapales don't have to match the speed of Inoue here, all he needs is the timing.

Therefore, we could witness a different outcome if Tapales continues to absorb forceful punches from Inoue. With only 11 fights, Akhmadaliev is relatively inexperienced, even though 8 of those fights ended in KO. While he possesses power in his punches, the disparity between him and Inoue is substantial. I believe Tapales needs to exercise caution and refine his counter-punching technique. Inoue tends to initiate aggressively in the early rounds, being the aggressor in most of his fights. Thus, a well-formulated game plan is essential for Tapales to execute effective counter-punching strategies.

If Tapales will adjust more on that side, I mean to continue to practice and prepare for every possible attack and combination from Inoue and also absorb those solid punches chances to win still possible. Though on that same side were speaking about Inoue's power, that can only be concluded when they already facing each other. Upset or a complete dominance from Inoue, either way can take place depending on what will be the outcome of the fight.

If both boxers are good, they would ensure that they undergo thorough training before the actual fight. However, we are no longer discussing their work ethics since they have already become champions. What we are currently doing is comparing their skills and talent in boxing, where it's very evident that Inoue has a significant advantage. Let's assess Tapales before he became a champion. Wasn't he just an ordinary boxer? On the other hand, if we evaluate Inoue, he has already made a name for himself in the sport of boxing. Yes, upsets are possible, but in this fight, the chance is very slim for Tapales—no disrespect intended.

Although, that fight against Akhmadaliev will help him to be more cautious because it doesn't mean that his chin was really good enough to try and absorb Inoue's punches, well, if he will do that, I guess that will be the end of him. Even Nonito Donaire was confused about the outcome because he didn't anticipated it well.

Don't worry mate, it's not a disrespect if we're not saying these things to him face to face because we aren't even that close to him to begin with. But since we are here to weigh the chances and to choose a much better option for our bets regardless of which boxer we support, it's somehow evident that Tapales's chance is quite lower compared to Inoue who have been dominating every boxer he has faced and Tapales will not be an exemption, and just like the others, he will be a stepping stone for Inoue.

And just to add up, Inoue is surely the heavy favorite here, and that's not disrespecting anyone but it's according to data though Tapales might have more belts in this division than Inoue, But the winning chance and the way of finishing the fight will side to Inoue, though as always, boxing is not exempted from those unusual outcomes. Upset may take place as both fighters will have their time to train and to scout their opponents we never know what Tapales camps will execute during the fight that might surprise and upset Inoue.. Just saying..

Just saying.. Both of them have the same amount of belts, Inoue holds the WBC and WBO while Tapales holds the other two, which is WBC and IBF. Although, judging both fighters by how they claimed those said belts against their former opponent, Inoue had the amazing one because he defeated Fulton by a way of knockout which was believed as the more stronger compared to Akhmadallev while Tapales defeated Akhmadallev by a split decision. So, we can already say that Inoue truly have an edge in this fight even if we will forget their past five fights before they became a champion.

Could be equal though, I mean Tapales was the underdog against Akhmadallev and no one even give him a chance to win. But look at what he do, he outsmart and out think Akhmadallev in their fight that Akhmadallev wasn't able to recover mentally. And he wanted a rematch against Tapales because he was shook, but Tapales has bigger fish to catch and that is Naoya Inoue. Nevertheless we really don't know if he can do it, to make another upset, and Tapales win here, it could really be the biggest upset of the year.

If the fight goes the distance and the fight is held in Japan, I do not think that Tapales will have a chance of winning. Japan judges is very known for biased decision so Tapales needs to knock out Inoue in their upcoming fight because if the fight goes to the hand of the judges, no matter what the performance is, I believe they will give the win to Inoue.
I believe the fighting style of Tapales had already been scouted by Inoue's camp so it is possible that Inoue's camp is adjusting and do training and adjustments according to the fighting data they gathered about Tapales. I do not think luck will strike Tapales twice in a row so Tapales really needs to prepare very hard on this fight.

Yes, I'm expecting that Tapales will really adjust, if he can change and have a good plan against Akhmadallev, then for sure, his trainer could have also scout Inoue when he fought Fulton as they are in the ring side watching the fight. And maybe Tapales have taken advantage of that fight as well, maybe see what the flaws of Inoue or if they were able to look for small gaps that Inoue might have, like lapses in defense and opening when throwing his punches. And if they did, they the best plan for Tapales is to set Inoue up and then counter with that hook if Inoue throws looping right or straight right.

Many boxers have attempted to make adjustments when facing Inoue, but it often proves insufficient. Take the example of Fulton, who initially adopted a defensive approach, refraining from throwing many punches. However, in the later rounds, he took a risk and tried to become more aggressive, only to be caught by Inoue's power punches, resulting in a knockout. If Tapales experiences Inoue's intimidating punching power, it's doubtful he will be able to execute his game plan. It wouldn't be surprising if he follows a similar pattern to other fighters who have faced Inoue, opting to minimize offensive engagement and focus more on defense in an attempt to prolong the fight.

Tapales was lucky enough to rid of Murodjon Akhmadaliev because the latter's camp hasn't had the idea to bring up a rematch clause before they draw and signed the contract of their fight. That gives me some though that perhaps it wasn't an honest mistake made by the team because they were the champion, and it was big hole that they didn't fill and so I think that they might've underestimated Tapales hence why there wasn't a rematch clause.

Perhaps they underestimated Tapales, assuming their fighter would easily defeat the challenger. However, the outcome was quite different—a closely contested match that ended in an upset. Now, Tapales holds the championship title and has an opportunity to prove himself against a terrifying opponent, a true warrior with a dominant track record. It's a big challenge for him as a boxer, but that's the nature of their profession. Boxers strive to face the best in order to become the best.

It's a big challenge for him as a boxer, but that's the nature of their profession. It seems like that's what happened because they were indeed champions, and in that fight, Tapales was a significant underdog. Even though I wasn't familiar with Tapales myself, when it comes to Filipino boxers, they're known for being courageous and not easily giving up, so overconfidence shouldn't have been the mindset even if you're a champion. What happened seemed like Tapales took a shortcut, unlike Casimero, who's currently struggling to get a championship fight after wasting his belt due to disqualification when he was in the bantamweight division. Boxers strive to face the best in order to become the best. I hope all boxers have this kind of mentality. Some of them are too focused on preserving their undefeated records, which sacrifices the quality of fights because their opponents aren't as skilled as they are.
