With the current level of performance and quality we can say Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are not strong candidates for the win but as we all know UEFA Europa League has never been easy to predict because we have history of surprises and shocking results, so any team can create surprise with teams which are capable of doing anything shocking are Sporting Benfica and West Ham even many will go against them because few are not doing good but still we are having good things in these teams and their experience and quality are good which are needed for the win in this event but for the better predictions about who is going to win we have to wait for the quarterfinals because then things will be better and teams which will be hot surely going to be at the top.

I don't even think the rest have bigger chance than lowest potential to get the trophy this season. It semed to me that if there will be very strict competition to get into the right score. We have experienced many troubles and i think that if some clubs will be fully dominating the competition.

Leverkusen is still unbeatable in the bundesliga and this is a sense reason to put this club as highest potential along with liverpool which is also still competing at the top of european competition (EPL).

Others may have different opinion and im very welcome with it. Levrkusen is really convincing me to think it will be winning europa league.

When it comes to my opinion about the last 16 draw, Roma - Brighton look like one of the toughest matchups. I think that Brighton are more dangerous than Feyenoord. It will be another difficult test for De Rossi. I'm glad to see Sparta Prague playing against Liverpool. After Galatasaray's elimination I was expecting for this. First Copenhagen vs Manchester City and now this. 

We will see what Marseille will do with their new manager as well after sacking Gattuso. Villarreal are a really tough team to eliminate in such tournaments.

With good gap in Bundesliga, Leverkusen will be able to focus on Europa League and it's different than Liverpool as the competition in Premier League among Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are very tight.

Atalanta and Roma will belong to Tier-2 of candidates to go far and win Europa League. Roma is a runner up last season but now they no longer have Jose Mourinho and they will have to beat Brighton in Round of 16. That opponent is capable of beating Roma as they can play well against strongest clubs in Premier League.

Liverpool have very strong and experienced team and their coach is experienced too. Leverkusen are rising and making big surprise in this season and they are strong but lack of experience from their coach can be their weakness in knock out matches. AC Milan looks to be good not only with their tradition in Europe but their coach is experienced too.

I agree to put these clubs as best candidates to win Europa League but don't know will they have to meet each other in quarter finals if they go through round of 16.

I don't think that it will be easy for Sparta Prague to play Liverpool, who is one of the strongest or if not the strongest club in the league, and they should know that they will be going home, because Liverpool will not allow them to come from behind, and win the match just like what they did yesterday. For me the most difficult match and even I can't predict the result is the Roma vs Brighton match. Although currently Roma has improved under De Rossi's coaching. You shared it wisely, I completely agree with the choice you made. For Leverkusen, Xabi fleet is currently the only team untouched by defeat in Europe top five leagues, placing them at the top of the list is a must. Even though Liverpool have experienced defeats, maybe I would put the two teams on an equal footing, because we have to assess the competitive level of their domestic league too.

Overall, there is no guarantee that the final scenario will be like the initial prediction, it could be that everything changes drastically and so on. Leverkusen is also in the cup as well, which means that they could end up the season with three cups. Not the treble we are used to, we usually get treble winners to be UCL winners and not Europa winners, but it's possible. To be fair same goes for Liverpool as well, they are still in FA cup right?

Leverkusen could end up winning their league, which looks more than likely at this point and Bayern is not even close anymore and looks like it will be easy win for Leverkusen, Cup doesn't even have Bayern anymore, so Leverkusen really doesn't have any big opponents at all, and we are talking about Europa, which has Liverpool as their biggest rival, but aside from that not many other teams that can rival them at all.
