Liverpool and Leverkusen are the main candidates to win the title, meanwhile Milan, Atalanta, Roma, Villareal are teams that could also provide a surprise in the Europa League this season. Personally, I tend to think Liverpool can advance to the final round of the Europa League this season, but other teams are simply not worth taking lightly. Although Milan, Atalanta, and Roma are charming, I doubt they're consistent. Leverkusen and Liverpool seem at a different level. I agree with your quarter-finalists, but football is unpredictable. While Leverkusen and Liverpool look expected to dominate, the game's charm resides in its ability to surprise.

Leverkusen is also in the cup as well, which means that they could end up the season with three cups. Not the treble we are used to, we usually get treble winners to be UCL winners and not Europa winners, but it's possible. To be fair same goes for Liverpool as well, they are still in FA cup right?

Leverkusen could end up winning their league, which looks more than likely at this point and Bayern is not even close anymore and looks like it will be easy win for Leverkusen, Cup doesn't even have Bayern anymore, so Leverkusen really doesn't have any big opponents at all, and we are talking about Europa, which has Liverpool as their biggest rival, but aside from that not many other teams that can rival them at all.

Most favorable Bayern Leverkusen is the winner of Europe League, unbeaten until 33 matches all competition and difficult get any teams will defeat or give first loss for Leverkusen this season.
Liverpool could be second list teams for winning Europe League, but the domestic league pressure I don't think Jurgen Klopp can focus well with Europe League and domestic league. I think he will prefers for winning Premier League than Europe League regarding how most compete with Premier League.

if I refer based on the team's statistical performance in the Europa League competition, based on the reference I refer to. there are three teams that have the best average scores, namely, Leverkusen, Liverpool and Benfica. Are you convinced that these clubs are trying to find the right dosage for each competition and allocate their resources according an agenda as you say? There is this horde of top professionals and a coach named Xabi Alonso who won it all, and you think that he will go to his players and say "we will play only 90% capacity in the Europa League, but 100% capacity in the Bundesliga and 95% in the DFB Pokal because the Bundesliga is the most important title".

Their chances to win the DFB Pokal are huge, to win the Bundesliga are huge, and what could be better to finish the season other than having a UEFA competition final to once and for all write history? There is no possible way that they would allocate their resources primarily to the Bundesliga at the cost of playing worse in the Europe League or DFB Pokal. Rome vs brighton
Sporting vs Atalanta
Marseille vs Vilillaal
Freiburg vs West Ham
For me they are the games to be kept more but the others are also quite interesting

There are no doubts now things are going to be interesting as we have top 16 teams in this round and these matches are going to have something special while Roma will host Brighton and Sporting going to face spirited Atlanta Marseille which done good job against Shakhtar now having another challenge as they will host Villarreal which is struggling but can bring good performance in this match and Freiburg which eliminate Lens now have to face West Ham which is currently at worst level with no win into Premier League for last few games, but surely they can do good in this event and have good chance of win as well.

For me most chances Roma, Atlanta, Marseille and West Ham these will be gone into next round because these are having good experience and good performance into their last games and with the same level they can jump into round of 8.

Roma has been really improving recently in their form especially recently that they have been winning a few games around Wich shows that they are now in a healthy form and may most likely win the match against Brighton but then Brighton has aswell been a very good team with a very good resistive spirit where they are able to put up some fair resistance against any team thst tries to get them off their feet.

Considering the performance of Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen since the start of the season both in the their respective leagues and in the UEFA Europa League competition, I don't think there are other clubs that deserves to be addressed as the favourites for the competition's trophy than the two clubs.

Bayer Leverkusen in their league is trying to end Bayern Munich's dominance for over the last one decade and that they've been doing in a clinical fashion as they're yet to lose a league game this season but that hasn't stopped them from delivering great football performances in the UEFA Europa League competition

Liverpool on the other side is also trying to stop Manchester City from winning the English Premier League title for the fourth consecutive time and their manager Jurgen Klopp will be leaving the club at the end of the current season so he's trying to make sure he wins as many trophies as possible to use them as  his farewell gifts for the club that's become part of him for the past seven years
