Once again, the greed of one man ruins it for a bunch
Pool operator could've just Waited for more money, instead he robs the miners and destroys his pool AKA his mini revenue stream
How foolish.

I'm shocked anyone is surprised since it's not the first.. or the second time that they have done this.  They are and have always been thieves.

Wait, it happened AGAIN?  I only peek at the thread once in a while, but I always assumed people were still talking about the first time.

TLDR version:

After they claimed the pool was hacked and did not pay, most people stopped mining there. But they redesigned the site and reduced the fees, so a few people started mining with them again, and they were paying. Now they've stopped paying again.

That's what I thought... I thought members are still rambling on about the "hack" back in October. Apparently, this is fresh new incident. I bet there are a LOT less victims this time round, no one mines there anymore  Cheesy

You'd be surprised to see the hashrate they're showing on their pool. Some LARGE teams are consistently mining there.

I've taken down my warning since the pool op has responded to me in private, however this means they are monitoring this thread and the onus is on the pool op to respond to support requests on this thread and users to use their own discretion when mining here (moderators are not meant to act as police).

They responded to you because you are a moderator. I do not think us "common" members have the privilege to get a response from 50BTC regarding our "hacked" balance  Embarrassed

Did anyone have a partial or complete balance restored?
(Silence... I don't think so)

I was PM'd and they restored the balance, months ago. I cannot be sure that balance restored was the "true" balance, as I had not kept an eye on it not used the pool for years. However, the funds I received were around about what I expected.

Some people have reported partial balance correction. Mine was not restored. I admit mine was very low, something around 0.35 BTC or so, but I haven't received any of it.

So they're watching this thread, but will not respond to anyone. That's nice of them, isn't it?

And the forum won't label them as scam pool. So I think the only option left now is to not mine with them and advise everyone else to do the same. What better way to kill a pool?

Nice to see that they watch this thread.

So here is my official question:

Dear 50BTC,

in December 2013 you promised me refunding my Lost BTC. Till now nothing happened. Not stillt a Penny were refundend.

In December 2013 you also confirmed me to own about 47 BTC. And this you did in the public!

Look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54673.msg4134228#msg4134228
(I also have screenshot of it for the govs Wink )

So why are you Scamming old and new miners, don't respond in Skype or via your Support-Ticket System or anything else?

Why didn't you inform your customers what is going on with bitmine.ch ASIC miners?

You lack of informations, you didn't say the truth to anyone. You only robbering our money for what we worked or pay electric bills.

Start refunding of your old miners, of funds that you have proofen and inform the people about ther orders! NOW!

It's the very last try to talk to you in a normal way!

And, just for your information, don't call me a blackmailer this time Wink To got to the Police or Governments are my rights to protect other people and to get back what i legally own Wink

A small Tip is welcome everytime Wink

Dear 50BTC

Good thing your punk asses are in Russia because it would suck to loose your knee caps.   You gave a private response to a moderator who called you out....  but not a single reply to everyone you robbed...and robbed again.... and if there are enough suckers out there will rob again.   If you want to know what it's like having balls just look at the people who kept mining with you after the first time.  Amazing.  Props to ckolivas for being a gentleman with words because you don't deserve it.  The Karma dog takes a big wet bite.  Wish I could watch when it happens to you.

Here's something I posted up on the scammer accusation thread for 50BTC which is located here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359277.0

After nearly 6 months, having lost my patience with 50BTC, I've decided to break my silence regarding my situation.

NO ONE SHOULD BE MINING ON THIS POOL

I started mining on this pool back around the end of August 2012 and for the most part was satisfied with the pool. On October 17th i was able to perform my last payout from the pool before 50BTC blocked miners from making any payouts. Keep in mind that I would often do twice a day payouts to minimize the amount I left in the pool. When payouts were blocked, after a few days I started moving my farm over to another pool. I completely moved my entire farm off 50BTC after 7 days. According to my estimates, and multiple emails and skype conversations I have had with 50BTC, I had in the vicinity of 15BTC in my account with them.  Balance was probably more, but I am satisfied with the 15BTC estimate, as that correlates well with another account on another pool I had at that time period. My farm, fortunately, was split between two mining pools. After a rather lengthy conversation with them on skype on February 17th, they sent me a payment of ~.2 BTC. Since then I have heard nothing from 50BTC.

I believe I have been as patient as possible, having hoped that this pool would come thru, but that doesn't look like it will happen.

Once a thief, always a thief. Honestly, I don't understand why anyone mines on this pool anymore.  History has shown us that mining pools that go bad eventually die.  The death for this pool cannot come soon enough. It was nice knowing you 50BTC, but I wish you a painful miserable death for the way you handled the situation.

VOTE WITH YOUR HASHES! TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO MINE ON THIS POOL.

To this day I have not received a response to that post.
To this day I have not received full payment for shares I submitted to this pool.
I do not intend to ever mine on this pool again, and I intend to spread the word regarding how this pool never paid me my ~14.8BTC

So those days i tried to contact them via E-Mail, via Skype Message and via Skype Call. But, like usually, not a single reply.

So 50BTC are proofen Scammers, robbers, thiefs and liars in any way!

I hope they will go under with their pool!

No response whatsoever from 50BTC to anyone in this thread. No post from 50BTC since February 2.

I believe the "THE POOL OPERATOR HAS STOPPED RESPONDING AND IS NOT PAYING MINERS" should still be placed on the thread.

The fact that they responded solely to a forum mod is an obvious attempt to ensure that the warning is removed from the thread title in order to continue luring unsuspecting miners to mine on their scam pool.

Don't mine on this pool.  You've been warned.

When you create a post in this thread, please make sure you use the title:

I will be the first one to respond with this title, thanks! Grin

And yes, responding to forum mods in PM shows they just want to get rid of warning messages in thread title and want to lure newbies.

They are also not responding on their Facebook or Twitter Account were many other users have been robbed out.... So its more than proofen scam. It's a big criminal case like most of the "russian actions"!

note: not all russians have this shit behavior.
