Ac Milan are out of the champions league race, I knew the second leg of the match won’t be easy for Ac Milan, because I know Feynoord will do everything to qualify to the next round and they did it, the first mistake which Ac Milan made was allowing feynoord get a win in the first leg of the match, so I knew all what Feynoord will want to get out n the second leg is draw and they were able to do that, and Ac Milan is out of the champion league race. Ac Milan had lots of chances but they wasted them, they were able to convert just one to goal, but they needed more than a goal.

When you have clear chances, you take it. Not taking Feynoord for a team that can do some damage is where they got it all wrong in these fixtures. I imagine they did think they would be competing with an 11 men team too in the second leg. They got handicapped by that red card and once they are down that lane with Feynoord seeing an advantage from the first match, a red card situation in the second, they’ve got to be their best to advance that’s what they were. So far things are looking like extra time between Bayern and Celtic, to be honest Bayern went all out to attack, wow, only Celtic only bet on the counterattack, and to be honest Bayern's defence is very good, they don't let their guard down for a second, they don't let themselves be surprised by anything in the world, that goal they scored against Bayern woke them up.

It is a highly interesting game now without a doubt due to the red card for AC Milan. I thought about Feyenoord and whether they now try to push it and pursue the deciding goal or whether they will play this game with a lot of patience and use their advantage being one man up for the whole distance including any extra time or overtime. Both approaches could make sense, but I think Feyenoord has less pressure to pursue that one goal in regular time. For AC Milan it is only getting more intense with every minute passing by.

But you can see that Milan is still dangerous and it is not out of the question that they can score a goal because Leao and others are able to perform very well on their own and score an excellent goal from many positions. Exciting game now.

AC Milan against Feyenoord was the first small surprise although I think the word surprise doesn't really apply here as Feyenoord has proven that they can beat big teams and after the red card their chances rose dramatically as AC Milan was not in control of anything anymore and Feyenoord made use of the yet increased ball possession. The game found the right winner as AC Milan hasn't put everything in to score one more goal. They were more like administering the result despite being behind.

But the other results are crazy. Brugge beating Atalanta with ease and scoring 3 goals in Italy in the first half. Congratulations to whoever bet on that outcome.

Benfica vs. Monaco is an incredible game so far and there is still a minute to go. Probably Benfica will make it, but they have been down 1 goal two games during the game.

Davies equalises for the home side at the dead of added time 90+3. Schmeichel couldn't clear off the ball from Goretzka properly and the Celtic defender too who probably didn't see Davies on the way, cleared the ball directly on his part and the ball went straight into the back of the net. Damn Milan. I had very strong doubts about them, too weak play this season, and made a "safe" bet Total Over.
Atalanta are losing 0-3 after the first half and to at least equalize the score they need to score 4 goals in the remaining 45 minutes. But judging by the game, Brugge is more likely to score the fourth goal than Atalanta.

My bet went down early on when this should have been a good moment for the Serie A club but it looks like the hopes were too high for them as Milan and Atalanta really didn't do well today.

At the moment Atalanta are still struggling to create momentum where 1-3 is still standing but time is still long enough so now it only remains to see whether they can finally make new history or have to be eliminated from the Champions League this season.

Club Brugge, who I actually did not expect to be able to advance especially when their opponent was the dark horse Atalanta, really played very well in their match in the play off because not only managed to make a good situation in the first leg but the surprise in the second leg was also really not too predicted from the beginning of the match.

To be honest, I knew that Milan would have problems, and I knew that Atalanta was on the decline, but I was shocked by the result of the Atalanta - Brugge game. Brugge destroyed Atalanta on their home field and to be honest 0-3 after the first half is a big stroke of luck for Atalanta, it could have been 0-4 or 0-5.
Bayern were close to going into extra time, but managed to draw the game. If I remember correctly, the odds for their victory were something like 1.15... imagine how many multiple bets this outcome destroyed!

The result tonight shows that there's no small team in the champions League and for you to survive and qualify to the next round you need to take your games seriously, the defeat of the two SeriaA teams shows how unserious they came out tonight especially a team like AC Milan that had the opportunity to win yet they blow their chances away by allowing Feyenoord to come back in the game when they would have defend the game and scored another goal since they were the better side. I think AC Milan's manager made a big mistake for not substituting T. Hernández during the second half knowing that he could receive a second yellow card and be sent off in the game that's exactly what cost them this match because Feyenoord didn't have the chance to come back in the game but I think that advantage of playing 10 against 11 players affected the performance of AC Milan and made them not to have much strength despite playing better than the visiting team. For Atalanta, I think they weren't very prepared for the match, conceding 3 goals in the first half of the game proves that they don't deserve to cross this stage so I think it was a deserving loss for them.

I'm so angry at Celtic. You are playing very well (Maybe Bayern were the side that dominated the ball, but Celtic did what they had to do against a team like Bayern). Schmeichel was very good at scoring goals.
You scored the goal, why are you trying so hard to defend it? Is there a guarantee that you will score a goal if you take the match to overtime? While Bayern was attacking to score a goal, if Celtic had counter-attacked and scored the second goal, they would have been the team that won the round, but they were so deep in defense that they saw the goal in their goal.

Bayern plays terrible football. They may win the Bundesliga, but I don't think they will be successful in the Champions League. The goal they scored in the last minute was pure luck. While the opponent was trying to clear the ball, the ball hit Davis and the goal was scored.

You're actually right because am really surprised with the kind of results that am seeing tonight because all the teams that lost their first games apart from Atlanta was impressive and almost caused an upset in the the games am really surprised particularly with the the display of bayern munich because I don't know what they where thinking before coming into the game or they just thought that the game was over since they win the first leg even though bayern tried all their best to win Celtics must be give credit for their performance

Two Italian teams has successfully exited the Champions League, for the Atlanta game, I wasn't surprised because Club Brugge proved to know what they are doing against Atlanta, I was only surprised at the AC Milan game because, Milan took charge in this second leg tie and wanted to qualify by playing better than they did in the first leg, they couldn't convert their chances and suffered after the red card. Club Brugge on the other hand deserved that win against Atlanta because the proved that they didn't come there to play. It was really an interesting Champions League games tonight.

Its  still unbelievable to me how Monaco gave away a 0:2 lead  in the second half that Benfica had to come from behind to make it a 3:3 draw getting a place in the round 16 with the 4:3 aggregate.

Bayern Munich got lucky tonight and they should be thankful to Alphonso Davies for salvaging them from elimination from the UCL in such an early stage with his late minute goal. The 1:1 draw qualifies them a place in a 3:2 aggregate. What a night of suspense.

Celtic defenders lack the stamina to endure their strength till full time and it made Davies to find the back of the net and equalized the score thereby eliminating Celtic after an aggregate score of 3:2. Even if they made it to the extra time Bayern Munich could have still won Celtic so it's better they didn't exhaust their strength by going into extra time. Bayern Munich is also lucky that Celtic didn't make the score 2 if not they could have learnt the hard way.

The Club Brugge goal stopper was just too good, just take a look at those saves he made, could have been goal but he made good saves by not allowing Atalanta to score him. Ademola Lookman tried for his team by scoring their only goal in this match but the penalty he missed almost ruined all his efforts for his team but even if he was to score the penalty it couldn't have made any difference. Now that Atalanta are out of the Champions League they should focus more in their Serie A games

Atalanta and AC Milan both finished 9th and 13th position respectively on the table and they were knocked out by Club Brugge (24th), the last on the playoff spot and Feyenoord (19th). This year's champions league is really interesting and we are seeing many surprises.

Both italian teams have been knocked out unexpectedly by really weak teams and this cannot happen at such a big level. I expected both teams to qualify easily but that just didnt happen. We also had a lot of dramatic matches and Bayern Munich barely survived that they didnt go into overtime

AC Milan played quite well in this match, but when Theo Hernandez was sent off their game became more unstable due to the lack of one player. It is very unfortunate that AC Milan was eliminated early even though they are a big team with many quality players in their team.
The same goes for Atalanta because they were also eliminated early even though their performance was also very good but they lost control when Talbi scored a quick goal in this match. There is no strength in terms of defense making Club Brugge freely attack them.

I am more impressed with the excellent performance shown by Bayern Munich because they fought with all their might until in the final minutes they were able to ensure themselves to qualify for the next round. Bayern dominated this match well, they recorded a lot of attacks but unfortunately Harry Kane could not perfect it into a goal.

Yeah indeed, this ranking have nothing to do with what happened during these hours and that explains why smaller teams might win the bigger teams one day.
Big names left the race today and Bayern Munich saved themselves from a defeat in the match after scoring a goal at the very end of the game by Davies. Celtic wasn't able to stand until the end unfortunately and with the many big chances made, it was clear that they will succeed at the end.
