This was a big surprise, I didn't expect Atalanta to lose at home even though their performance in the first leg was quite good even though they also lost but I thought Atalanta could turn things around in the second leg but instead they suffered another embarrassing defeat.
Consistency has always been Atalanta's problem even this team doesn't have a strong mentality to be able to develop their game when they are under pressure.

If it was draw, i can accept it. The problem is that Atalanta played even worsen at home, they went from 2-1 from the first leg, to the 3-1 on the second leg. It's really unacceptable result.

They made a lot of shoots on target, but only fewer gone to the back of the net. They suck. I lost my patience for them, and not good enough being called as a good club.

Club Brugge really played well, and that is the reason they had the opportunity to win the match. Milan also have to follow Atalanta after losing 2-1 on aggregate to Feyenoord, the last hope is on Juventus to accompany Inter in the last 16.

Club Brugge's second win really surprised me because I thought that the first leg was just a normal result, but the second leg result was amazing so that Atalanta was made to fall at home. I don't know what happened to Atalanta even though in terms of experience they are far superior but in football anything can happen and Brugge who played effectively deserved to hold the ticket to the next round.

Atalanta has always been a tough opponent for big clubs, especially in big matches like the Champions League. However, I don't really understand why they had to lose to Club Brugge, even though Atalanta is a team that is quite favored to be able to qualify for the last 16 compared to Club Brugge.

As previously mentioned, in this match the Atalanta BC players dominated the attack with many attempts they made to break through the goal guarded by S. Mignolet. There were at least 30 shots they released with 11 of them on target. However, it is very unfortunate that from the many shots, only 1 shot became a goal for Atalanta. And unfortunately instead of catching up, towards the end of the match they had to lose one of their players because he got a red card, which forced them to play defensively until the end of the match.

And I have to give a thumbs up to Club Brugge's goalkeeper, S. Mignolet, he was the main actor in Club Brugge's victory in this play-off round because he made many brilliant saves.

I have opened the statistics for the achievement of Club Brugge throughout history. Their best achievement in the Champions League is runner up in the year (1977/1978). Lookman's missed penalty still wouldn't have changed the score of the game, the aggregate was far behind in comparison. The two italian candidates were leaving from UCL after they lost. It really surprises me how Atalanta can't even win against Brugge. They lost in the first and second leg, they are so fucking toothless in this competition. I wonder whether they have motivation on UCL.

The same thing also happens with AC Milan. After they lost in the first leg with narrow score, yet they unable to turn things around at the second leg.

Serie a have lost two important candidates, which may be also affecting their coefficient a lot. They may unable  to defend their additional spot of UCL next season. 

I feel same just like you about Italian teams Atalanta and AC Milan and how they did in Champions League. It is surprising that Atalanta could not beat Brugge losing both at home and away and it makes wonder if they were really trying and if they are good enough for this competition. AC Milan also did not do well after losing by little bit in first game and that is disappointing. Now that these two teams are out it will probably affect how Serie A is ranked and might even mean they lose their extra spot in Champions League next year.

Joao Felix's transfer to any team is always a bad sign. Milan fans can now see for themselves.
Yesterday Milan had to qualify for the next stage and no one expected a good result from Feyenoord, because a week ago they changed their coach, and the goal for Feyenoord was scored by a player that they took for free, besides Feyenoord have a lot of injured players and after Milan led 1-0 it seemed that everything was over for Feyenoord.
Unfortunately for Milan, Theo Hernandez decided to get a red card on the spot and it is not clear what he was counting on so openly faking an offense, because now the referees have VAR and they can always review a controversial moment.
By the way, former Feyenord player Jimenez, who scored for Feyenord in the Champions League, scored for Milan, which is a very cool achievement.

In general, an extremely frustrating defeat for Milan, which was left without European cups and in Serie A Milan is not doing well either.

Atalanta played like they didn't have a clear tactic, their performance was like a confused person so that it could be used by Club Brugge to be able to create 3 goals in the first half. I think that was the beginning of the destruction of the mentality of Atalanta players in the second half and that was proven by the red card received by Rafael Tolói in the final minutes because they were frustrated.

Atalanta is a team that cannot be consistent and I think they don't deserve to qualify and Club Brugge can take the opportunity by seeing and taking advantage of Atalanta's weaknesses.

Milan had every reason to win the game yesterday being that it  was at the San Siro and fueled by the first loss, they should have made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable for their visitors instead they had to make the mistake of allowing feyenoord equalize. I was not in the least surprised when it happened because these clubs hardly get such opportunities to feature in champions league competitions and so when they have the chance, they will want to give it their best. Infact, the last time feyenoord qualified for the round of 16 was in the 1974/75 season so this is like a dream come true for them.
 

FC Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Celtic Glasgow

Same thing, Bayern has a good squad, they have a good coach, but they can't beat an opponent like Celtic. I know Celtic is a good team, but I expected Bayern to be fighting to win the European Champions League and not to be fighting to survive in the league

The only thing that saved Bayern yesterday was luck because I didn't really see any thing that they played. As of 34-35 minutes, Celtic had already registered four shots, two on target and two off while the only thing that Bayern could hold on to was 67% ball possession which is nothing if you can't upset the opponent with it.
Had Celtic went on to win the game by that 1-0, they  would have been amongst the first Scottish clubs to eliminate Bayern Munich at the Bavaria in a champions league competition. Good thing Vincent Kompany's men bounced back late on. Talk of an epic comeback.
