Today's match is of course Madrid against Mancehster City and now Madrid is quite comfortable with 2 Mbappe goals.
A little surprised to see what Pep did in this match especially for the formation and line-up for the starting line-up.
I don't know what the situation was like but he preferred to reserve Haaland and KDB for the first half and preferred some young players like Nico Gonzales as a midfielder and the duo of Savio and Marmoush to complete their 2 attacks in today's match which makes their attacking quality really poor.

Pep tried something new where they played more young players and players who have just joined this season against Madrid but it seems that this is a decision that is ultimately wrong especially because Pep should be aware that this is a big match for their life and death situation in the Champions League but he is brave enough to make some new adjustments including backing up KDB and Haaland for today's match.

Their defense is still looking poor right now and we can see that the few times Madrid made a breakthrough with a good direct pass overwhelmed them in the end.
Mbappe's brace closed out the first half but Madrid's other players also played very well in the first half this time with Vini moving more flexibly on both sides which troubled Manchester City's defense. In addition, Tchouameni regained his position as a midfielder which made his performance in this match quite good for me compared to when he was always forced as a center-back.

It took a miracle for Manchester City in the second half, but it didn't look like it was going to come for this team, so clearly the game was over.

Still want to see the game in the second half although not sure they can win easily because we know Real Madrid when playing in Europe is a little different in their own league, they are like lions on the rampage because they can make a comeback at any time.

i think city will win tonight's real madrid vs. city match and advance to the next round. real madrid is considered the favorite, and the general opinion is that they'll win, but i just have a feeling that city will beat them and go through.

usually, when i write something like this, the opposite happens, but i stand by my prediction. i know they won the first match, but i still think city will win this one by a one-goal margin, sending it to extra time and possibly winning through penalties or in extra time. city's absences might cause them some trouble, but i believe they can handle it.
