Just few minutes to the end of the first half between Juventus and PSV, as Juventus are already leading with one goal with the game still full of more intensity from both teams. The game is not looking much of a dangerous attacks from both teams, but I feel there will be more goals in this game from both sides in the second half of the game. The home team have dominated the game more and taking the earliest lead in the game, if they cannot defend their one goal in the second half by adding more goals or by defending the only goal, they will likely win the match if not the second half will be tougher and may lose the match as PSV are also attacking well.

I am enjoying the Manchester City vs. Real Madrid match. I think most people were waiting for this match. The players of both teams are playing great. We had the opportunity to enjoy a very exciting match. The Madrid players had the opportunity to make some good attacks. However, Guardiola and Akanji are playing great. I want to still see what Mbappé can do to return the challenge or in a more fun way, gesture that has been passed to him by the performance shown by Haaland in the first half.

PSG management and their players must have already celebrated when they found out it was Brest that was going to be their opponent in this round. All thanks to the winning they got against Manchester and eventually their last match in the group stages. PSG are used to winning Brest and now it's already assured that they are going to the next round. 3 goals at away and still counting. Brest have really done their best by getting to this point, they should be proud of how far they have come in the champions it. This is the first season I am seeing them play in the champions League and they really impressed. PSG is bigger than them, and they knew it.

3 goals to Zero was not really a bad one. Dembele did his own bit of scoring two goals including the winning goal. One would have envisaged more goals but Brest didn't performed so woefully considering that PSG had all its top players in the play. I know Brest played all their best but this game was not just for them.

Im expecting a lot of goals between these two teams. Hopefully they dont go into really hard defence and just play by tactic. I think both teams have the attacking power to score. Im just intrested to know how Man City will play because they usually concede goals from their own mistakes.

Both teams are attacking a lot. In 25 minutes, Real madrid have managed to make 5 shots and Manchester City have managed to make 3 shots. Both teams are playing completely attacking tactics. The fight between Guardiola and Ancelotti is always very enjoyable.

Haaland has been able to take  advantage of Real madrid's weak defense. Manchester City is now 1-0 ahead. Apart from Mendy, there is no experienced defender in Madrid's squad. We can see Velverde and Tchouameni in Madrid's defense. Apart from Velverde, Madrid's midfield is also a bit weak. 5 midfielders in Madrid's squad are out of the squad due to injuries. This is why Madrid's defense is weak today.

City has taken the lead and they have the better chance of winning the match if only they wouldn't relent in their attack before the match comes to an end. On the other hand, Madrid is also trying to see how they can equalize the goal with aggressive attacking force . The match is fierce and I hope to see more goals in this match. It's still 1-0.

Vini would definitely bury those two chances that Mbappe missed, I don't know if big games do swallow Mbappe because his yet to really perform in any big game for Real Madrid. Besides I don't even know what Real Madrid is actually playing, midfield is nowhere to be found in this game.

This is Madrid's main weakness and biggest weakness. Madrid's midfield and attack players are very talented, no doubt about it. However, Manchester City also has talented players like Haaland and De Bruyne in the attack. To counter these players, a strong defense is definitely needed. The truth is that many are expecting or saying that this game will be very favorable for Madrid, but the truth is that I am not very confident, City is a team that can surprise and that is something that we all know, Pep is surely putting together his team with the best they have and we must not underestimate him just because they have not had good performances in the last few games, however Ancelotti himself said that he does not like facing City, however that is football and we have to accept it.

As I have said on many occasions, what I don't like about this formation is that Tchouameni is there and Modric is not starting. I think that these changes have to be made as soon as possible, if Ancelotti wants to secure the game, because City's attacking power is Incredibly strong.

While that might be possible, we know Real Madrid to be a 90 minutes team and until the whistle is gone, Real Madrid with just seconds on the clock can always come back from a 1 goal opposition lead. Real Madrid as it has have gotten their first but, that was likely not going to hold through the first half should Mbappe have taken most of the chances he was presented with. The chance from Rodrygo in the plus minutes of the first half was one that ought to have been converted but, Mbappe skied it, despite having way much time and space.

Looking at the first half, even though the intensity of the attack was quite good, it seemed that both clubs were still quite careful and aware that the defense line could not be left alone so that when an attack was made, almost all the players were in the defense area to create a fortress and this made me quite comfortable watching the match even though there were still some things that I didn't like about Madrid in this match.

Several opportunities looked good for Madrid but their finishing was quite bad and I also didn't like the way they didn't really press when Manchester City tried to attack which in the end this was actually used as momentum for Manchester City to carry out their attack scheme.

The second half seemed like it would be more interesting than the first half, but hopefully Raul Asencio in defense would not lose focus because seeing in the first half, Raul Asencio seemed quite busy defending because Manchester City's attacks several times threatened Madrid's goal.

The finest display so far this season I have seen from Manchester city playing against real Madrid tonight, City unveiling the best of themselves in this game against Real Madrid is nothing I had looked forward for in this first half. Initially before the game I thought this would  be the best time for Real Madrid to take on Manchester city now and dominate and bury them considering how poor and porous Manchester city has been playing this season. Let me just believe that they have learnt their lesson against PSG When, they surrounded a 2 goal lead and lost 4:2. The second half is definitely going to be tough, and we are going to witness more goals being scored. Real Madrid are hoping to get a point out of this match and finish the job at home next week. Manchester city are pushing to make sure they take the advantage of the match down to Madrid. If they don't collapse as they usually do, they are just 45 minutes away from claiming the entire 3 points. Let's see if the spirit of the second half performance they put on against Leyton Orient will be with them today or it will be the same old story as it was against PSG.

Yeah, Real Madrid were on top of the game in the first 15 minutes and looked like they were going to trouble City. After the goal from Haaland, everything changed it was like they turned off the play well button for Madrid. Manchester City took over every department despite their mistakes, Madrid couldn't take advantage of it. Unless the coach and the players come up with a better to handle this situation, if not it's really going to be shameful losing to a City side that's not in form.

Why will you think such that the game will be an easy game for Real Madrid or are you underrating Manchester City? and I believe you are only one to get surprised because Manchester City is leading real Madrid by 1-0 in the first half of the game at Etihad Stadium nothing should surprised you in football again as anything can happen in football so nothing surprises me again in football even if Manchester City ends up winning this 4-0 I won't still be surprised because that's football game for you.
I think the most interesting Part of this game will be in the second half because Real Madrid will want to equalize the game or even try winning it as Manchester City also will be playing to see if they can get more goals in this game  but I believe the final whistle will determine will eventually wins this game at the end 90 minutes.

Real Madrid is not getting enough efficiency in the midfield after the Modric-Kross duo. The arrival of Mbappe is leading Real Madrid to disaster. Mbappe is playing a terrible game tonight. Mbappe's transfer was a mistake for Real Madrid. Because Real Madrid had a winning 4-3-3 system for years and with Mbappe they broke this system. Even Ancelotti, one of the best coaches in the world, cannot play Mbappe and Vini JR at the same time, they are both players of the same position. For this reason, the Mbappe transfer was unnecessary. They already have Vini Jr in the team, one of the best players in the world. Mbappe broke the system and I wouldn't be surprised if Real Madrid finish this season without a trophy.

I am sure that a quick check for the statistics would show that Real Madrid is stronger when they play in the Bernabeu stadium than when they play away from home, but this isn't surprising at all. You can see it when Dortmund plays. They are not a good team right now and yet they play very well when they play at home. But it's quite normal I think when tens of thousands of people are chanting for a team instead of playing against a strong opponent who gets all the support the whole game.

But of course there are limits to the effect that the support can have. The missing players could become a problem, but luckily for Real Madrid, Manchester City is far from being the dominant force that they used to be in the past. Chances are still good for them to advance to the next round.

Although home games give Real Madrid an advantage, the final result is not necessarily certain because after all the two have met in previous seasons so both coaches will definitely see weaknesses in the opponent's side to exploit. Real Madrid have weaknesses in their defensive position and that is quite dangerous against Man City because Man City's front line has the ability to break through Real Madrid's goal if not guarded properly so Ancelotti will have to work hard to find a solution.
