Watch him play yesterday then I understood why we haven't been that confident in goal because our main man wasn't available. He might not be the one scoring for Nigeria when we play but his presence on the pitch drags the defenders towards him and gives room for other to do damage.

I didn't notice that when Victor Boniface was leading the line. Anybody watch Osimhen play last night against Tottenham. He would have gotten more than the two goals that he got. Always available as a typical striker and gets lots of chance but missed them.

Seeing this news that Victor osimhen is back on the super eagles squad gives me a lot of joy, hope and confidence in that which we can achieve, we can be sure we aren't going loose badly that's if that happens, osimhen currently is one of the finest strikers you can find around the world, literally Galatasaray is beginning to push for a buying clause after seeing his performance so far as he has been with them, that show how much of confidence and believe they are having in him but i guess he may not want to buy into that and may want to continue with his England dream.

In yesterdays game I noticed that as always he doesn't just want to score all the goals but also give brilliant assist same thing he does for the super eagles the times he's with them, he ma not be scoring all of the goals but surely he will not hord the ball in situations where he can rather make brilliant assist and the team wins still, that is why I call him one of the finest of strikers.

all the previous games he's had with the team, osimehn hasn't had a boring game as an attacker. He always fights for the ball and doesn't play as though it's a must that he should score.tye reason why he easily gets injured is because of his attacking style that's somewhat aggressive but even at that, he still delivers his all for his team be it at the super eagles camp or for his team.

The call up for the two home and away games against Benin is superb and with osimehn, chukwueze, Boniface and Moses Simon mounting at the front, it's a complete package that should certainly give us nothing less than a win in that game. The only issue I have with the team selection is constantly including kelechi iheanacho on the list while he stays on the bench for most of the attack. Dude hasn't been actively playing and it would have been better than a young attacker is added to the familiar names we already have in the team so he gets to experience what it feels like playing in the national team. The defense and the midfield has a lot of options to always select from but for the attack, we need alternative and a potential replacement in the spot Sadiq and iheanacho are both occupying.

I’m happy to see Victor Osimhen back on the squad. We have missed him so much. In his absence, Victor Boniface was our point man but we couldn’t get the same results as we would normally expect with Osimhen leading the attack. The duo of Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman is what we need to qualify for the AFCON. Lookman is in top form, he scored the first goal for his club side in their last meeting with VfB Stuttgart. I can’t wait to see what this two will do for the national team.

After the injury that sidelined him from participating in Super Eagles qualifying games last month, it's interesting to see that Victor Osimhen is back and listed in the squad that'll be facing Benin Republic and Rwanda in the CAF African Cup Nations qualifiers. A good look at the squad that was named by coach Austin Eguavon for those two important games, I think it's safe to say that the Super Eagles will win those games convincingly because they possess a stronger squad than their opponents.

Osimhen is a great striker no doubt, but in the national team settings he hasn't really given much though he usually plays with all diligence but his goal scoring tally is what makes his efforts seem invisible and this is also traceable to the fact that we don't  have a team yet and probably it's time that we start building a formidable team that other countries would take note of, as it is right now we do not have such a team, because most time you see victor Osimhen struggling much on the pitch because there is no midfielder to locate him upfront with a good pass so he has to come in deep to get the ball thereby reducing his chances of scoring goals, so there is a need to work on our team so that the boys can play like a team and score goals and get good results.

When I heard the news that our beloved Flying Eagles retained the U20 WAFU Cup this year, I was thrilled. They truly deserved the trophy, given their outstanding performance throughout the competition. I’m also delighted to see both the Flying Eagles and the Super Eagles doing so well at the moment. I hope that the current Super Eagles coach considers taking a close look at this U20 team, selecting a few players to promote to the senior squad, rather than relying on foreign-based players who may not be fully committed to representing Nigeria.

Those under 20 flying eagles are also the one that would write another good story for the country in football because those guys are very reliable and they have been making the country more proud than what our main super eagles has done, so that left me with no option but to see them as the elevating era when they would finally move to the main club to represent the country on the world Cup because their achievement will be higher than what we are seeing now and like they said players that has a good ambition always starts showing it from their grass roots and they have been repeatedly winning trophies, so actually I would wish all the players to be signed by the international clubs to start playing on the professional league so that it will equipped them the more and get them ready to join the super eagles early.

It is very interesting to have Victor Osimhen back in the super eagles, that dude is a force whenever he is in the team. I think the super eagles is more coordinated when Victor Osimhen is in the game.

I see that team spirit in him and he works with everyone making sure all is in full form during match time.  I think he would be a better captain if given the opportunity because he has built himself into that sportsmanship personality that he is a good coordinator during matches. This 3 players are really doing well in their various club but when they come play for the supper eagles they won't perform as expected sometimes it could be mis positioning of these player in the pitch by the couch or playing the off position, it could also be that the supper eagles lack quality midfielder who can feed this players with a nice assist to score goal, they are all good goal scorer when you watch them in their various club.
But i believe a better couch can manage this players very well and they will become more productive in the supper eagles I can remember when Sir Alex Faguson was using about 5 strikers in Manchester United in a single match and they will deliver, you will see Rooney, Carlos Tevez, chicarito, Dimitar Berbatov, all strikers in one game. I think the supper eagles need a better couch.

Feels good to have our point man back I can't lie he brings not just scoring goals for the country but also energy, teamwork and entertainment, he's such a great sportsman but then, our issue with this squad whenever I watch them has to do with connecting the midfielders and attackers, creating lots of chances same way we watch from the premier league games. Nigerian over there will prefer to stay in Libya as it gives them an opportunity to travel out of Africa than to come back home.

This is just the sad truth, really. I remember when the Ukrainian war just started then, and there was a plane to bring Nigerians home; some people skipped it on purpose and rather fancied their chances relocating to nearby countries and trying to survive there rather than back home. Our politicians have messed things up.

Thanks to social media, if the oppression becomes more serious on Nigerians and life-threatening, we will surely see an update on it from those there, not waiting for our government to cook up lies.

The japa syndrome is real. Nigerians would rather be anywhere else in the world than be their own country. Relocating abroad is like a breakthrough or progression for many Nigerians and they see coming back home as a backward step in their lives. You can’t blame because the quality of life is better there compared to what we are made to endure here.

In my own opinion, if Boniface is finding it difficult to adapt to the national team, he should be benched and let those who has already adapted be playing. What is making him not to adapt in the first place? Not that he wasn't raised in Naija he knows everything about the super eagles, so what's taking him time to adapt. I don't think it's a matter of him adapting, maybe he just believes that his position will always be guaranteed irrespective of how he plays for the national team. If the coach leave him without an inviting him, I believe he will pick up. We can't be tolerating a player who scores goals for the club, but when it comes to the national team, he becomes a monument and a comedian. We need serious minded players in the super eagles, people like Ademola LookMan. If the coach drops Boniface for few games, you will see that he will adapt quickly.

I honestly do not mind players dribbling. I’m a big fan of Neymar Junior, Ronaldinho and Jay Jay Okocha. Their style of play brings flair and pure entertainment to the game of football and I believe dribbling is a important part of football that should be kept alive. Victor Boniface can dribble but he should also focus on scoring goals. The coach has complained before about Boniface hesitation in front of goal, I think that’s his problem.

The Nigeria under 20 Flying Eagles players getting signed by international clubs will do well if some of them are found lucky to because as for the Super Eagles main team, for them to be part of it this time around, and the next two years, I don't see the possibility of that happening because the current Super Eagles squad we have currently, there is no such vacant position for new players to join them. The Super Eagles are currently playing the AFCON and World Cup Qualification matches. If they should qualify for both, the Super Eagles coach will still make use of the same squad he featured in both AFCON and World Cup Qualification. Already, Eguavoen has squad listed the players he needs for the upcoming AFCON Qualification matches of the Super Eagles. There's no name of the under-20 team listed there. Instead of the under-20 squad staying idle without getting called up by the Super Eagles, let them pray that they get signed by an international or local clubs to keep them going with their current form they found themselves in.
