Let’s see how the match will go. The super eagles are not really supposed to find the match difficult, Libya are not really a strong team, which I think will give the super eagles a hard time in the match. The super eagles should be able to win the match, but I am not really so confident in eagles, they perform well in matches we never expected them to perform well, and sometimes they do end up surprising us, so I am not really always so confident in super eagles matches, but it will be a disappointment if the super eagles can’t win the match.

Well, if we are to go by the previous meetings and statistics, Nigeria is surely the most prefer team to win this match. The record shows that super eagle has won all the previous matches played against Libya but is previous stats a yardstick to determine the present outcome? Absolutely No. At the moment, we all can testify that the Nigerian super eagle is not longer playing the way they used to play for only God knows why despite having some star players who have made names in the global stage within the squad. Despite the odds, Nigeria still have the higher chance to win but we can not rely on past records. Looking at Libya last five matches records, I can confidently say they're not in form to compete against Nigeria but football is like a ludo game where none expert player have double six often. The clock is ticking already and we are watching with our support behind eagle.

Based on statistics, this current Nigerian team shouldn't be pressured much by the Libyan Mediterranean Knights, the Super Eagles squad is made up of players that are in the starting XI of first league clubs across Europe, so when it comes to experience, I think they have more experienced players than the Libyan team therefore they're the favourites to win that match. They now have a new coach who's had experience in managing the Super Eagles in previous times so I believe they'll make us proud once again by winning Libya. Also I saw in a news that Kelechi Iheanacho (Snr Man) and some other Nigerian players have landed at Akwaibom state so I believe they'll be seriously preparing ahead of the match and would definitely come out victorious against Libyans. Well the Super Eagle got our full support and I can't wait to watch my favourite players Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman play again.
Our Super Eagles team is made of very professional players, I don't see us lacking in any way and losing against Libya is not an supposed to be an option to mention. We have complete set of forwards and legit defense which makes it difficult to break through. More of this completely lies on the coach this time, he has the players and how to manage them rests on his shoulder, same with the result we get to receive after the match, nevertheless it's a win for Nigeria. Osimhen is being replaced by Boniface, so you don't get to see him play tomorrow.

I will say the Super Eagles have the best squad in Africa for now, just that most of the coaches we are having don’t know how to make use of those players, or maybe the players don’t really want to perform well when it comes to playing for their country, because with the squad the Super Eagles are having, we are not supposed to be scared of any African country, we should be able to conveniently win any African country we are playing against, but things don’t always go well for the Super Eagles.

I will be placing my bet on them to win the match. Libya shouldn’t give them a difficult time in the match with the players we are having, but let’s just see how it goes, because I never expected them to draw against Rwanda in their last match, but they surprised me.

Just because the super eagles have some quality strikes doing well in Europe doesn't mean they have the best squad in Africa. In my opinion to be qualified to be ranked the best squad you should have a balanced team where there are quality players in every or almost every position on the field.

Nigeria's team doesn't have a top tier goal keeper, the super eagles defense is still shaky aside bassey I don't rate the other highly. The super eagles midfield only has a quality player in terms of Wilfred Ndidi but when it comes to attack that's where Nigeria shines but that's not enough to win competitions or even games.

So this are the games for today, what are your predictions (scorelines)?

Namibia Vs Zimbabwe
Cape Verde Vs Botswana
Dr Congo Vs Tanzania
Ghana Vs Sudan
Burkina Faso Vs Burundi
Algeria Vs Togo.

The matches are now ended and this is how the results went: Namibia Vs Zimbabwe ended 0:1 in favour of Zimbabwe, Cape Verde Vs Botswana also ended 0:1 in favour of Botswana, Dr Congo Vs Tanzania ended 1:0 in favour of DR Congo, Ghana Vs Sudan ended 0:0, Burkina Faso Vs Burundi ended 4:1 and Algeria Vs Togo ended 5:1, going by this results it's only Burkina Faso and Algeria that ended their matches with high scoring goals while the rest of the match ended with 1 and less than 1 goals. Tomorrow games will also involve some notable countries like Nigeria, Egypt and Tunisia but am more interested on how Nigeria game against Lybia will go but i wish the Super eagles can win with a high score just as Algeria won against Togo today.

The super eagles midfield only has a quality player in terms of Wilfred Ndidi but when it comes to attack that's where Nigeria shines but that's not enough to win competitions or even games.

The Super Eagles have the best team in all department but the problem is letting the manager do his work without any interference or any form of control. If NFF allows the manager to do his work I don't see why we won't do well and again the connection between both players and manager will also help the players have that freedom to perform well but where there seems to be quarrel or grudge between player(s) and coach the atmosphere won't be healthy and the players will play how they feel and let the game end for them to leave the field and go back to their respective club side.
You talk about the attack, I don't see that position as the only side we are stronger, the midfield is better but is the set of players that plays that position. Where I'd agree with you is the defense that's not too strong aside from that I think the Super Eagles have a better squad. Sometimes the kind of players they invite can affect the team in a negative way but when the coach invite the players that have that positive bond they tend to play well no matter what.

For many years now, our problem has been a matter of coach, when we tried to get it right with coach was, Super Eagles under Stephen Keshi but few years later, we lost the man to death. Nigeria is blessed with talented footballers but we've most of the time got it wrong  by choosing the wrong coach to manage our national team.

Finally put my money down on just the one game, expected Sudan to make it tough for Ghana, was right. What I didn't expect was that the Black Stars would still ultimately dominate. 20+ shots, and 16 corners... sure Sudan still managed a few counters but the draw is not reflective of how far it was for my bet to win haha.

Sorry for your lost but it was weird picking Sudan to win over Ghana, Ghana is one of those nations that I respect so well until they're paying against us.

I didn't see this game ending in a draw so that was quite unexpecting to me. Ghana had all the possession and reason to win this game but sudan will power to not lose the game kept them in. Kudos to them.

Not many nations will conceed so many possessions/corners and endure the press from Ghana and won't concede atleast a goal.

Impressive with the results of Algeria and Burkina Faso, tomorrow the big boys play.

a lot of things became more evident in the last away game we played goalless against Rwanda and one of them is that our clinicallity in front of goals is still questionable to a large extent. With 16 or more shots in our last game against Rwanda, we couldn't score a single goal even though we had the likes of Boniface, osimehn and lookman upfront who where the goal machine in Thier respective teams. With regards this, the coach still don't see it as a problem even though osimehn won't even join in todays game. Ejike is still doing well  but how well can he perform at the national level at the crucial time? Big name is good but we need to fight and become more clinic with our chances or else,  the lybians will come with the mentality of getting a draw and defend it to the latter in our home ground.

it's been a bad outing for the black stars of Ghana throughout this qualification game and minus the normal social media banters we do have with them, i had expected them to comfortably win this game to at least solidify thier hope of making it to the AFCON most expecially when you consider how they left in the last AFCON. After 3 outing and they've not had a single win, it's everything to be worried about for a nation as Ghana but it is what it is, it shows hoe tough qualifying for major tournament can get and it's no longer a thing for a selected country. For you to make to the AFCON or The world world cup, you've got to put in the required work.

If you have been following the African football, you will agree with me that the qualifications is very difficult and you can hardly predict a team to win a game even when they are having a decent performance. For some time the Black Stars of Ghana has been so unlucky in the African football tournament they find it difficult to progress even to the knock out stages even when they are playing against a weak opponent.

We saw how they struggled in the last nation cup until they were eliminated and coming back to the qualification games they have played 2 draws and lost 1 game and they have 2 points after 3 matches. Watching them against Sudan yesterday I think they deserved victory in the game because they gave everything and they had a better performance but they were unlucky not to find the back of the net so the match ended in a 0:0 draw. At this point I think they need a good goal scorer in the team I believe it will help them to reduce the poor result they have been getting.

The most painful part of the game was that it was played in the prestigious Accra Sports Stadium before the home fans. The Black Star dominated the match and was in a better position to win but they were unlucky. In his post-match interview, Ghanaian coach Otto Addo believed his side deserved to win since they were the better side, but football is all about goals and not ball possession. Ghana might have to win all their next matches for the to have the hope of qualifying.

The Sudanese National team coach is a former Ghanaian player James Kwesi Appiah. He has managed the low-rated Falcons to become a threat to other African teams. They are second in Group F with four points. If they continue with this performance, they might end up qualifier for the AFCON. Which will bring uncommon joy to the people of the violent-prone nation.

If you have been following the African football, you will agree with me that the qualifications is very difficult and you can hardly

Yeah and you can't blame the players because they're being scouted from different leagues with different playing fields and philosophy so it might make it difficult for the players to blend and play together so well like their counterparts in Europe are playing.

The premier league gives England most of their players, La liga does the same for Spain and so on for other countries doing well in international football but over here, we don't have that privilege so we gather players from different leagues and try to play them as one.

Above are the games for today, which match are you looking forward to and predictions. My interest is more on the Nigeria match and I won't be missing it for anything.

a lot of things became more evident in the last away game we played goalless against Rwanda and one of them is that our clinicallity in front of goals is still questionable to a large extent.

Our international games always have different outcomes, despite generating the top players in Europe, when it comes time to play for their country, they struggle to participate or score goals. Victor Osimehn's absence has not much to do with our performance, we have a replacement striker like Awoniyi, Boniface, and Iheanacho to fill his position. However, in our previous game against Rwanda, we had many chances to win, it was clear that we had a good performance, but we were not that lucky to score, Lookman scored in the first half of the game and the referee failed to award it because it was offside; we had 9 shots on target and no one of them was able to be turned into a goal.

On the other hand, I don't believe we will lose or draw today's game against Libya, this team has just one point in the last two games, everything is possible, but I am confident that we will defeat Libya today, and perhaps Boniface will score his first international goal.

Quote
it's been a bad outing for the black stars of Ghana throughout this qualification game and minus the normal social media banters we do have with them, i had expected them to comfortably win this game to at least solidify thier hope of making it to the AFCON most expecially when you consider how they left in the last AFCON.

We sometimes state that our players are not performing as well in international games as they did at their main club, but it’s easy to see that the Black Stars of Ghana are worse than our Super Eagles, in the last three group games, the Black Stars managed to earn two points in two draws, I had no idea what Semenyo, Kudus, and Ayew had been doing that they failed to create any chances to score after playing 20 shots against Sudan. And that is how they played in the previous AFCON and were eliminated in the group stage.

I also agree with you that Nigeria is in a better performance currently than Libya, but they should not because of that go into relaxation and assume everything will be as they have planned, sometimes when we feels relaxed, then comes in the enemy attacks from behind, Nigeria may be far ahead of Libya and that does not call for them to feels everything had been settled until they finally win, that should be the normal expectation.

We've got literally move well during this present government, but I wouldn't want to see the sake happening with Football National Team that gives us joy and little pleasure. Seeing the game live wouldn't be bad idea but I'll stick to my television. They the players knows how important this game is a d wouldn't want to take chances. Do you all also follow and support a Nigeria Premier League Club? Who do you?! Rivers United is the club and ever since they appointed Finidi George former super eagles manager, they've improved rapidly.

Ahh ghana black stars lol I don't even bother checking up on them as they don't even give me any vibes. Their match are usually boring. I can't even see my self comparing them with our super eagles. Even though I know we haven't been getting goals recently I still have a strong feeling that we might be lucky on the next match. Judging from our past match stats, you can see how many shots on target we had. We still have many good strikers and they are still pressing. Let's just see how today's match will play out against Libya Sha..

The matches are now ended and this is how the results went: Namibia Vs Zimbabwe ended 0:1 in favour of Zimbabwe, Cape Verde Vs Botswana also ended 0:1 in favour of Botswana, Dr Congo Vs Tanzania ended 1:0 in favour of DR Congo, Ghana Vs Sudan ended 0:0, Burkina Faso Vs Burundi ended 4:1 and Algeria Vs Togo ended 5:1, going by this results it's only Burkina Faso and Algeria that ended their matches with high scoring goals

Ghana is playing terribly bad on this African cup of nation because all they have been playing is always draw and they have not gotten any positive results for three consecutive matches, yesterday match I was thinking they would at least get there first win of the table against Sudan but it still resulted to another draw match and this time was even the worst because the both side could not even scored any goal, however the clubs I like there results yesterday was Algeria and Burkina Faso because they both have an amazing wining yesterday and not the kind of wining they consider to be a narrow escape, Botswana also tried but they almost draw with Cape Verde if not that they were playing more of defending at the late hour.

Above are the games for today, which match are you looking forward to and predictions. My interest is more on the Nigeria match and I won't be missing it for anything.

The Nigeria vs Libya match is the most important game for me and the game time is cool since it will be played around 5pm Nigerian time. I'm also looking forward to seeing the other game between Benin and Rwanda because they are the teams in the group D with Nigeria, since Nigeria is on top of the group with 4 points and Benin is second with 3 points, a win for Nigeria will see them retain the top spot with 7 points while the PO outcome of the game between Benin and Rwanda will determine the position of both teams in the table.

Choosing the wrong coach for the Super Eagles and the NFF interference in the decision-making of the coach via the Nigerian players to be called upon or not to represent Nigeria in any country match are the major problems facing the Super Eagles to build the right team and formation.

This said the problem "Of NFF" has been hovering for years, making each coach signed to manage the Super Eagles have something not good to say about the NFF, making their job to be more difficult to deliver good results for Super Eagles team.

That said, the involvement and control of NFF towards who becomes the Super Eagles coach and who to fixture in a match, is what is affecting the progress of Super Eagles. If the NFF should allow the coach they employed his services to do his duties without interference, I believe the Super Eagles would perform better than they have been performing.

it's been a bad outing for the black stars of Ghana throughout this qualification game and minus the normal social media banters we do have with them, i had expected them to comfortably win this game to at least solidify thier hope of making it to the AFCON most expecially when you consider how they left in the last AFCON.

Does it matter where it is being played. The Sudan players don't give a fuck where they are applying all they want is to hold on to the game. I know the Sudan players weren't expecting to win that game, they knew playing Ghana is never going to be easy. Lucky for them, the Blackstar's they knew is not he Blackstar's they saw yesterday. And they were happy to have gone home with a draw at the end.

Watching the game yesterday, i don't see Sudan as threat to the Super Eagles, perhaps they can be a threat to other teams like they were to Ghana but when it comes to the The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, the  the Elephants of Ivory Coast, The Super Eagles of Nigeria and to mention a few others.

I don't think the Super Eagles should have any difficulty in winning their game against Libya being that in their last three meetings, Nigeria have been having the lead and in their present Group D, Libya only has one point from two games and are at the bottom so even without the services of Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles should comfortably defeat them.
I want to believe that Austin Eguavon, the caretaker coach of the Super Eagles won't be pressured into making any wrong decisions concerning who to start and who to keep as substitute because another factor that will ensure they get good results is how he makes his selections.

Nigerian Super Eagles has not played three games in the qualifiers games that are going on. I don't know where you played the third game. Super Eagles has only played 2 games in the Nations Cup qualifiers and win 1 game then draw the second one. They won Benin Republic 3-0 and draw with Rwanda. And the full name of the Super Eagles coach is Augustine Eguavoen and not Austin Eguavon. If you are not conversat with Africa football then you can discuss the European games..
Since you are so quick to show how little you understand English, I'd gladly help you. If you noticed (which I doubt you did) I said their last three meetings and never mentioned that those meetings were in this ongoing tournament. You're out here calling my supposed mistake when it should be you double checking before posting just to meet up your quota.
Yeah, too bad that I got his name wrong and thank you for inputting the right one and I think that could have been done more civilly instead of acting like you've got a problem with me.
No one's above making mistakes and calling out my error like you're perfect is a bit hypocritical being that in your haste to "correct" me, you got your spelling of "conversant"...
Here's a link to help you understand what I meant better when I talked about their meetings.... link

I think you are been bias, in terms of individual talent I think the super eagles have so much of it. Down from the goal keeper to the attacking role but the super eagle are only struggling due to management and coaching issues. You even said in the midfield it only Wilfred Ndidi you rate highly, Alex iwobi have been in an incredible foam since the beginning of season, he has created alot of chances this season and also score goal too.

And as for the goal keeper we all saw how much he has proven himself from the African cup of nations and even in the club side in south Africa. Nwabili is a good keeper. So today I see super eagle winning. Osimehn will be missed for sure but I believe Boniface and Lookman will step up.
