I just knew that Fluminense won and advanced to the semi finals. I kinda knew they would win because Al-Hilal isn't a strong contender at least not against Fluminense. I'd say they even won Man City by luck. Compared to Al-Hilal, Man city would've been a worthy opponent  to face Fluminense in this tie but it is what it is.

Correct. Some teams are overall stronger than others but in a football game, luck might not favor a team within the time limit. For a league the luck factor becomes insignificant as the teams plays each other again and again while on knockout what you are able to do on those official minutes are final.
Fluminense is not eve a top team in Brazil but in overall they are better team than Al-Hilal and they won against them. I too was sure about it and I placed a win bet on Fluminense pre-match.
Chelsea vs Palmeiras is a closer call though. Palmeiras has been a brazilian standard for year while Chelsea is an struggling team. But still I believe Chelsea has a better chance of winning it even if it reaches to extra time.

I haven't considered Al Hilal the favourites in that fixture. Just because they eliminated Manchester city, their profile became so high and people starting tipping them for the finals of the CWC forgetting that Manchester City has not been well since last season.

Even for last season and this coming season, Manchester City should not be a yardstick for any club to test their strength or form.

Maybe I am one of those who think too far and expect too much from AL-Hilal because they were able to draw from Real Madrid and send Man City home in the previous round. But here, they were not effective enough in their game, not as sharp as when they played against Man City in attack.

Although Fluminense is only ranked 6th in the Brazilian Serie A League, here, indeed the clubs from Brazil are very enthusiastic, besides Palmeras who will also compete today against Chelsea. Chelsea must be careful and don't underestimate their opponents this time.

I didn't bet on this particular game because with the look of things,the both teams (Fluminense & Al Hilal) were playing as equals like it's was very difficult for me to predict the outcome of the game so I decided not to place my bet either since I can't figure out who might likely win.  Ever since this competition started,I have been loosing money on my bets because my favorites teams have been loosing to smaller clubs,based on that I have decided to lower my expectation on every matches in this competition. I was rooting for Al-Hilal to win against Fluminense, but it was Fluminense that beat Al-Hilal and advanced to the quarterfinal, which shows Fluminense is long prepared for this tournament, and they have what it takes to win against any club they meet in the Club World Cup tournament. Al-Hilal was the favorite to win this match; even the bookmakers know that, but Fluminense has proven that sometimes odds don't determine the outcome of a match. Brazil is known as a football nation, and it's not today that Brazilian clubs started performing well, so Fluminense is destined to perform well.

I think Al Hilal was heavily impacted psychologically on this game, and that was the main reason why they didn't achieve at least a tie against Fluminense on regular time. Chelsea really made a strong dominance in the match against Palmeiras. I initially thought that Chelsea might have difficulty in the match against Palmeiras. When Al Hilal beat Manchester City, we had high expectations from them but they did not make it from the quarter-finals to the semi-finals and they lost to a relatively weak team. I call this team weak because Al Hilal had beaten Manchester City before and Manchester City is undoubtedly a much bigger and stronger team. However, Al Hilal may have come to the Club World Cup with big dreams and their goal was to at least play until the semi-finals but their dream did not come true.
