I really don't understand you? Cause why would any of them care for the trophy less, I mean it's a football competition where money is also tagged to the trophy so it's obvious that they would all want to get their hands on the trophy and nothing more because that's the basic essence of the competition so saying PSG doesn't really care is a rather bogus statement cause I believe all the teams in that competition including PSG wants to be world champions.

People are just coming up with unrealistic excuses how can a football club not be interested in winning the club World Cup, even though it is not like other club competitions and doesn’t get hype as the others but this is recognized trophy. Aside winning it and they having five trophies alone this season they can still earn as high as €125m in total that’s way more than what they will get for winning domestic titles. Also this particular tournament is seriously important to PSG because they are just one of the few European clubs left in the competition that hasn’t won it. Also winning it gives the winner the opportunity to be the first winner of this trophy after been rebranded

These 3 teams you mentioned have truly performed so well but we should not exaggerate things because we know that the chances for any of them no win is very low. Every league is unique in their own way but the highest display of professionalism in football is witnessed in the Europe top leagues and it has been that way for a long time. I am not trying to doubt that a Brazilian team or the Saudi Arabia team cannot emerge the winner of the FIFA club world cup but since they have a slim chance, we can't keep assuming things. There are still 5 European teams in the competition, there is no way that the 3 other teams from the Brazilian League and the Saudi League will win all the European teams and win the FIFA club world cup.

Forget about what Fluminense did to Inter Milan because we all know that Inter Milan has not been very healthy in performance after their flop in the Champions League final so they literally did not even put efforts to advance to the next stage and Fluminense took advantage and won them.

This competition is indeed different from other competitions, but even though PSG doesn't really care about this cup, I'm sure PSG will reach the semi-finals or even the final of this cup, although maybe PSG won't be so disappointed if they have to go home without bringing the cup. Now PSG only have to think about beating Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals and that is a very worthy opponent for PSG, but I'm not so sure Bayern Munich will win that match if PSG can still play at full strength in that match.

I am still confused by those who say this trophy is not important for the team, some even say this is a trash competition. It is strange to think that this competition is not important for a team, especially PSG who just won the Champions League trophy, of course with the Club World Cup trophy it will establish them as the best team today. It seems to me that the increase in randomness of results occurs because the game calendar is overloaded and top clubs suffer the most from this (their players play in more tournaments than outsiders + are busy with national team games).

I stand on the exact opposite direction. I'm expecting PSG not only to overcome Bayern Munich but also to win all the way and lift the trophy. IMO is the most complete team in this tournament, in every line. It's a team that can strangle the opponent from the first second until the last and score in many ways with any player. I am very optimistic that Bayern Munich will defeat PSG to progress to the next phase. I believe a lot of people will disagree with this Prediction,Underestimating Bayer Munich is definitely a big mistake. No club can be very rich to the point that they will say that they don't need more money. PSG is rich and that is why they can use their money to get what they want and make more money. I won’t say the chances of both Fluminense and Palmeiras chances of qualifying is slim, I think we shouldn’t just underestimate those teams. Fluminense will be playing against Al Hilal, I will say the match is going to be difficult for the two teams, but Al Hilal might end up getting a win in the match.
