This is funny because even Benfica won their penalty in the extra minutes. We all saw that in the first 90 minutes, the game was supposed to end 0-1, not until Benfica got a penalty, which they scored. It happened when the referee gave an additional 5 minutes, but in the extra time, Chelsea scored some extraordinary goals, which surprised everyone, because we were not expecting so many goals from Chelsea.

Although Chelsea really played a wonderful performance, no doubt, we all saw that Benfica were saved because of their goalkeeper. That guy was so good, if I am not mistaken, he saved more than 7 shots. But we all know he became weak in extra time, and Chelsea players used that opportunity to get more goals.

Yes, Benfica fell behind here, Gianluca Prestianni was shown a red card and Benfica competed with 10 players, this is where Chelsea took advantage. However Chelsea were far ahead in attack, with Chelsea being favourites to win the match. But if Benfica could have played with a full XI in the end, the match might have been more exciting.  I really don't understand how teams who have been exceptional in their prior games fold and start misbehaving the moment they meet Chelsea. Benfica played absolutely bad last night. Like they weee playing without a man in the first 90 minutes. They had less touches on the ball and it was as if they didn't understand the stage they were at. It's bad that they had to come to this level only to drop so weakly.
 Anatoly Trubin, Benfica keeper should be given the man of the match award if it were up to me because the man did a lot for his team. For me, he the spirit he had was on like 5-6 players, I don't think Chelsea would have gotten that number of goals that they had but all the same, when two elephants are fighting, one has to go down to save the grass!
  Enzo Maresca was able to beat Benfica, yet he keeps complaining about the weather. His diversionary tactics are weak but still serve him though. I hope that they go far in this competition.

Ridiculous events continue to happen in this tournament.
There were 5 minutes left in the Benfica - Chelsea match and they stopped the match and postponed it, I guess.
If they played for 5 more minutes, the match would have ended anyway, why would you stop the match?

That's why i could not agree more with Maresca's statement about the competition. Too many stoppage happened in various games, and enough to conclude US seems not the right place to hold a competition like this.

Why are we taking this man's complains too serious? Enzo is already in the competition with his boys and you'd agree with me that they are doing well as they progress to the next round of the competition but my problem is why complain each time he has a match or whenever he wins any game? I haven't seen other coaches come out to talk about the condition of the event or the weather it self even if we all know that the place is too hard for the players but non has complained like he did, that is another reason why I wished they were eliminated but they still progress to play in the quarter finals.
Let's not forget that these guys (the organizers) are also looking out for the safety of the player and equally the fans, it won't be nice if they choose to play even with the warnings and the signs. You must be joking, man. It's not Inter Milan, it's PSG who will face Inter Miami. Maybe you should take a look at the tournament calendar. Palmeiras in my opinion were deserving winners today against Botafogo. They played the more exciting football while Botafogo just wanted to absorb pressure and look to either score through counter or a mistake from Palmeiras.
This was a match that was meant to be close as they both have good experience against each other.

Both of the knockouts ended in predicted way. Palmeires vs Botafogo are similar teams so it was supposed to be a competitive one. Palmeires finally won with an extra time goal.
