I got the news of Real Madrid making a profit of $48.2 million so far in the competition. I wonder what the winner of this competition will make in total, I'm just curious.

How do they make such money from a competition that is still ongoing and barely out of the group stages? Are you saying that they pay them for every match they win or what? If the FIFA CWC is this profitable, from next year, teams will be putting the qualification in their planning since it is a profitable tournament. I do like this new arrangement because it makes us almost forgot the European break because we are still seeing big teams place and hence, we have something to watch and discuss in football.

Chelsea and Benfica are almost equal in performance but if I have to choose one to bet on, I prefer Benfica to take a big risk for a big gain. Benfica have quite creative strikers and have quite strong contributions.

Chelsea need to change their initiative in this game because if they feel it will be business as usual then they should be ready to be eliminated before full time. Benfica played a direct football in their last game meaning that they read the game and played it as the opponent gave it to them but going head to head against the English side Chelsea, I believe they too will play more of the attacking then they did against Bayern Munich because in that encounter after the opening goal they played less of the attack, now in this round of 16 game they have to go allout because if they relax it will be all about Chelsea so is best to attack than defending till full time.

You are actually not far from the truth here, because anything that makes benfica thinks that by seating back without attacking much, that they might snatch a winning as they did against Bayern Munich, they will be punished brutally because Chelsea and Bayern Munich doesn't attack in the same way, so holding Chelsea will prove to be more difficult than Bayern Munich game that was a success to them.

Then as for Chelsea, I believe that they will show benfica the much needed respect in this game because it will be a terrible decision on their own part if they looks down on benfica and start playing their reserve team, but if I will be staking on the final outcome of this game, I will be going for a direct winning to Chelsea because by looking at their head2head record, Chelsea always comes out on top, so this one here wouldn't be an exception in my own point of view.

I can not say Bayern Munich was very much relaxed in that game while waiting for their opponent in the round of 16 but that doesn't mean they should be poor in both areas that's the attacking department and the defense, it was as if Benfica made the Bayern Munich players to be scared of coming out to play the way they know how to. I want Chelsea to be knocked out but my fear is Benfica to play like Betis did in the Conference League finals, is best to go all out to attack Chelsea and you'd get results rather than staying back while they attack and pressure your defense, the Benfica coach need to take note of this, it will be dangerous for Benfica if they try that method.
Which ever way Chelsea wants to go about this game even if with the reserve (which I doubt) or the first team players I don't want to know after all we know the manager is the best when it comes to complaining and he'll make another mistake and this time it will cost him the game, it would be better if he start every player that are doing well especially the defense, that area will be a problem for the Blues because it seems like the manager doesn't know who to start ahead of the other.

The winner will earn 125 million. As for the teams' earnings, it's a complicated scheme. As I understand it, the teams receive money for two factors: for simply participating and for the success of their participation. Moreover, teams from different regions receive different amounts of money (for participation). This is quite logical, since Real Madrid brings very expensive players to the tournament, and Inter Miami, for example, brings a squad of pensioners. Naturally, clubs from Europe receive the most money, but the amounts are also different (apparently depending on the club’s rating). Overall it's all very complicated, but it seems logical, the most popular and strong clubs will get the biggest share for just participating, and the money for sporting success is distributed based on games and everyone has an equal chance (almost haha).

Adbitco thinks the Club World Cup tournament was designed like the UEFA Champions League competition, where clubs earn money if they qualify for the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League competition; that is why he made that statement. FIFA would have just allowed the Club World Cup tournament to be the way it used to be because it has deprived the European club players that are playing in the Club World Cup of not going on holiday after their respective leagues end, and it will have a negative impact on them when their respective leagues start, such as fatigue because they lack enough rest.

It's half time for Palmeiras vs Botafogo and they are playing neck to neck with no team having any advantage. They are at 0-0 draw. They are the usual rivals so they know each other very well. But this is a knockout and there can't be a draw so this game would not end till we see a goal or a penalty shootout. I still believe Botafogo would win it and within the 90 minute game as I have a bet place on them.

On Chelsea vs Benefica, I don't see why so many people are hyped on Benefica, it's a runner up of a low tier league. Somewhere in the level of EFL championship with teams like Leeds and Burnley. Chelsea would be an overkill for Benefica. I got 2.2 odds for Chelsea for win which I'd take.

That should be the case for Benfica's match against Chelsea. Benfica in the round of 16 also do not want to go home too soon and they also have the same motivation as Chelsea. Personally, I don't see any of these two clubs as the favorite to win the match, because the game was somehow bored and they both have equal strength. Botafogo did not have any goal attempt throughout the first half and Palmeiras had a beautiful opportunity to take the lead early but they missed it. Palmeiras took possession of the first half. The second half will decide the fate of these two clubs.

Where did you got the news from? Which source? You can just assertion without a proof. The FIFA Club world Cup is still in progress and we know that teams that are participating will definitely earn rewards ranging from the group stage till the finals but I wonder why FIFA will reveal how much each teams will earn in each of the rounds so I assume that the figure you mentioned that Real Madrid have earned so far is a fallacy except you convince me otherwise with sources to the news. If the amount each teams got in the FIFA Club world Cup is to be revealed, it's gonna be at the end of the competition not now that the competition is still active.

Halftime both teams haven’t actually played anything extraordinary in this game although Palmeiras have been a better side in first half I think the game still in balance, for my prediction I am going for a Botafogo win, aside the impressive draw with Porto this tournament, a team which even Inter Miami won against I don’t think Palmeiras have done much better that Botafogo. my bet went right on botafogo, many say that palmairas is the favorite but i think we can have a nice surprise, surely this club world championship is giving us some nice surprises, and they never seem to end, so my bet goes towards them, and you earn even more

These two teams know each other very well so this game is going to be an interesting game to watch I don't expect much goals from this game because it will be a tightly contested match as both teams are from thesame league, this game can go any side i dint think that there is a favorites going into this game any team that takes there chances will carry the day

With the way Chelsea is struggling to keep up in this competition,I doubt if they can defeat Benfica. They luckily made it out of the group stage and now they are going to be facing a strong team like Benfica. Benfica isn't a small team that Chelsea at this current level could possibly defeat. This competition has been difficult to predict either, better we lower our expectation on Chelsea so that we don't get disappointed

Also Palmeiras is the favorite here

Truly if we are considering who's the favorites here,then it should be Botafogo. Last time I checked Botafogo is the only team strong enough that have defeated PSG in this competition . I think Botafogo is the stronger sides in this match although they haven't been able to secure a goal. Maybe Before the end of this match,we should be expecting a  goal and a winning from Botafogo.

Match 3 looked much better for Madrid as they were able to control the game better, in addition there were some adjustments with the cooperation and build up of attacks that made them seem much better than before especially for the counter attack schemes with direct passes that resulted in 2 goals in this match although there was a share of Salzburg players but that does not cover the fact that Madrid is improving.

They are through to the Round of 16 now and this could be a new test because of the pot they have now where in this round they will definitely face Juventus which is a new round for them to face one of the strongest opponents especially we can see how Juventus play (although today they lost to City) but they are quite good so far. It's going to be interesting and I'm getting excited to watch this competition.

I agree with you that the match against Salzburg was the best so far for Real Madrid in this championship.
It was seen that the players as if gained confidence in their actions and finally Vinicius scored and even left the ball for Valverde, who scored a goal, and before Vinicius would still hit the goal regardless of whether it was convenient to hit or not.

If I were to bet, I would be betting on the MC team; however, one can go for Al-Hilal as you will get better odds for them.

I think Benfica already pulled off a little miracle, but doing it twice in a row feels unlikely. The plan worked against Bayern — one big chance, maximum effort, and a bit of luck.
