When I looked at the grid, I only see European teams in the quarterfinals. Inter - City, PSG - Bayern, Real - Dortmund. Do you think this is possible? I like how Inter Miami plays, but I doubt very much that they will be able to beat PSG, these guys are very strong now and are in great shape.

In the end, the match went into extra time, with Benfica managing to equalise at the last minute with a penalty scored in the 95th minute.

They surprised me in this tournament, i thought they would play without much fight and generally play boring football, but this is really impressive. It’s hard for them to match Chelsea, but they definitely have quality. We’ll see what happens they seem good to me, as does Chelsea, who played great extra time against Benfica. Overall, brazilian clubs have been a pleasant surprise in this tournament.

I think Bayern will win against Flamengo, while Inter Miami will lose against PSG. In my opinion, there were no surprises in yesterday's matches. Chelsea managed to win, even in extra time. Palmeiras did a wonderful job yesterday but not just defeating Botafogo, but sending them out of the league. Football has really evolved and, for me, it feels a bit refreshing to watch European teams compete with teams in the lower league/divisions that can at least qualify for the FIFA club world cup.

It's way more strategy and precision for these teams -- especially since most of them will be competing against themselves for the first time in football history. They got a red card few minutes before the final whistle, but the defending team couldn't utilize that. Congratulations to them on their new promotion and I hope they're able to hold on to the semi-finals.

Fair enough, only Manchester City won all matches, even though Bayern Munich has the highest point in goal difference, but they lost against Benfica. It's shame to see a team like Atletico Madrid are in lower position compared to Brazilian teams.

Sadly Barcelona didn't qualify for Club World Cup, they can earn money to buy Nico Williams.

Nope it's not hosted by Saudi Arabia, but they're funding this competition and other thing, they're indirectly want to promote their league.

It's not hard to predict that PSG would have an easy win against Inter Miami, Messi and Suarez are good, Inter Miami is a strong team but when it comes to global stage, PSG is a much better team than Inter Miami. A few stars would not be able to carry a team against a strong opponent. Inter Miami might be able to get a goal on counter attack or something but I don't see them winning against PSG in any way.

Can Inter Miami win this match, yes they can but PSG has more chances of winning than them, PSG has lots of players able to score goals from the defense where you have Mendes and Hakimi down to the front three attack, Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Barcola anyways this a match PSG vs Messi and his friends, I mean his former Barcelona teammates which are Suarez, Alba and Busquets, they're the key players that Inter Miami is relying on to win PSG. Well, without Dembele, PSG is still very strong Doue is capable of doing what Dembele can do, we saw it in the Champions League finals so Dembele's absence won't be felt.

Benfica not only played with 10 men but also showed signs of fatigue, and after Chelsea's 2nd goal, they collapsed. However, they have chances to turn this match upside down but the red card was decisive and destroyed them. no team is to be underrated no doubt but by the class most of the European teams have shown, they might be the ones that will end up dominating in the quarter finals of the tournament. intern Miami might not be an average team and their play might be good to an extent but they are never a match to PSG neither can palmeras get the victory over Chelsea. the difference in mentality where one sees themselves as the big name that is worthy of playing in the finals and another struggles to get to that spot is going to be the determining factor that ill end up giving most European teams a serious edge above these smaller teams.

The difference in earnings is due to the coefficients of the clubs and the difference in results. City is higher than Real because they earned 9 points in the group stage, and Real 7. I think if the number of points was the same, Real would be higher.
It must be admitted that all clubs earn generous money, especially those that are at least slightly above average, but even for the obvious outsiders, several million dollars for simply participating in the tournament is very profitable.

For Inter Miami, of course this is a good opportunity to prove the quality of their team and also the quality of the domestic league in which they participate. I personally also like Inter Miami. I think it's too risky. because judging from the depth of the squad, PSG is clearly still the favorite. because I think the quality of the players at PSG is quite even in terms of quality. I honestly don’t see a fairytale ending for Inter Miami here. They’ve already gone further than expected and proved themselves the best American side at this Club World Cup. But facing the reigning Champions League winners is a completely different challenge. PSG just have too much quality in every area, especially at the back, where Miami are clearly lacking. Even Messi and Suárez won’t be enough to turn this around, and I expect the Parisians to control the game from start to finish.
