Yes, that's true and that thing happened not once but many times. Some of the reputed casinos of this date and time might turn into negative casino which may steal money of the users or sell the KYC details of the users to others. So, it's always some type of risk but a user still has no other option as most casinos have made the KYC mandatory.

It's pretty much inevitable to avoid KYC altogether, if you take into account how many platforms have our details, casinos should be the list of our worries. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to avoid it when possible. Which one is better should be based on our own preferences if you ask me, but I will always prefer to do KYC when the casino ask me to do it only. Yeah if you can avoid using VPN it's always smarter to do so. Even when it7s stated that it's no problem the terms might change in the future and then suddenly old usage might become an issue.
