the price is goin lower and lower.
i know it is not only gulden but i started to lose faith in this project as well.
just wish the news that are comin could affect the price.

The new function shall reflect in price. With the upcoming withness function is NLG not only a currency to pay for goods but also more a store of value.

The interest rates by local banks getting lower and lower. Soon people must pay to store their money. NLG is then a good alternative to store money and receiving interest.

Thats a stupid project, just check their website. No vision. They just set up a coin and try to list it at as many exchanges as possible.
No real case use, nothing new in it, just another copy / paste coin.

I've just rediscovered this project and I see that they are close to releasing an update, a rather major one, let's see if it lives up to the expectations.  I'm curious what made them leave bitcointalk in the first place , if anybody here cares to explain to me exactly what happened I'd be glad to read about it.

I've just rediscovered this project and I see that they are close to releasing an update, a rather major one, let's see if it lives up to the expectations.  I'm curious what made them leave bitcointalk in the first place , if anybody here cares to explain to me exactly what happened I'd be glad to read about it.

I have the same opinion about that. I know there are developments ongoing with the launch of the witness function coming closer but further it's a dazzle to find information. Though bitcointalk is the place to share those kinds of information about how the development is ongoing.
Closing yourself up with an elite group of supporters in one slack channel is not good for mass adoption I suggest.
Like it to see information about developments here because I though bitcointalk was always the centre of cryptocurrency and blockchain projects.

What I've noticed about Gulden is that they don't keep their promises on release dates. only to notify people after 3 moths or so (AFTER the releasedate) that they have a new release date.
They communicate very poorly and are very centered around the dutch application of the coin.
The same we see with other coins that are country orientated but those people believe in that coin we don't see that around the Netherlands.
There are ''fan''-meetings around the country and no one of the development-team has ever visited one of the meetings nor spoke in public only to shady web articles.
There is little to none known about the development-team yet they have reserved so manny coins for development.

I think Gulden had alot of potential but has to be given up.
I used to own alot of Gulden but this isn't going anywhere nor as an investment nor as an actual useable coin.

I agree with that gulden is centred around one application.
When you shall mention that in their slack or want to pull up an discussion about that in slack it will result in a ban.

Yes there are community meetups in Holland and also in eindhoven was the developmentteam present there.
I come from Holland.

There is development ongoing and yes it was suspended.
Personal not a problem with that as they want to develop an feature what is save to use.

Expect that the witness function shall result in a rise in price and eventually future growth. People can than lock up their coins and receive interest.
I shall not lock up coins but I think enough people shall lock up their coins so the marketsupply shall decrease.

Guys, how do you get into the slack group? I sent a demand about one week ago and still no reply.
