I will be too harsh to be saying that their season is a total failure cause we have seen some fine young players emerge, which will be a major addition to their team going forward.

Though they may go trophy less this season, but lesson was learnt on the area the team needs to strengthen, and players that needs to be shown the door were also discovered.

For the past two seasons they have struggled in midfield since the retirement of Toni kroos, and we all can attest to the fact that he was like their conductor in midfield.

They are very much in the title race in the La Liga and also very much in the title race for the champions league. Real Madrid dont need fine young players to win titles, rather they need mature players with experience to guide the young players. The young players in the squad are the reason why they have been struggling when they face teams.
