That's what happens when you lose your decade long manager. Gasperini was the soul of that team and no matter who they would replace him with, it would be a bad one and nobody could be as good as him. Not just because Gasperini is a good coach, he is, but that's not the point, the point is that he was there probably for a decade or something like that, which means he was there longer than any player and even some workers, he has been there for bad and good.

When you look at the standing you will see that they are not doing badly but then again when you look at the matches they have dropped point then you begin to question if they are really good enough this season. The odds are spread almost equally, with AC Milan being a very slight favourite (x2.65 Vs x2.75 for Juve). Milan is currently leading the table with 4 wins and one loss. Juve is a bit lower (4th place) but they haven't yet lost a game this season.
After a poor performance last season, when AC Milan finished 8th and didn't qualify for any European cups, they have something to prove this year. I don't think home advantage will be a big factor, as Milan tend to perform equally good in away games as they do at home.
