Finally, the right authorities have gotten time to investigate the NFF, this should have been done long ago, they always embarass us the fans and the nation at large whenever players come to the public and clomplain over allowances, we used to feel like the players are exagerting the thing always, but this last concluded female tournament exposed them completely, the places our Nigeria players are staying is usually not conducive, the NFF and any body involved in the walfare of the players should be investigted because their actions is affecting our players performance.

I am happy that the government has decided to investigate. I hope they don't also have hand in this because everything is possible. I wish they could also manage some corruption going on in terms of player selection to represent the super eagles of Nigeria in all tournament so that the talented players will have the opportunity to play for their country.

Those that mean well for Nigerian football will definitely see this as a very good move by the government, because it seems we are just joking around with everything, I just hope the law enforcement Agencies will do their job very well without being compromised as usual, we are in a country' where people conscience can be bought with money, just imagine how our football has now become  a thing to worry about, corruption is now something that Nigerians no longer see as anything just because we have people whose main purpose of looking for appointments is to steal money meant for very important things.

This investigation should not be biased, infact anyone find guilty after the investigation is done should be sent to prison, for other to learn, but doubt if that could be done.

First of, let me start by saying thank you man by updating us with informations like this one, even if I will say that the government were too fast enough to swing into actions this time, I will also blame them because it is not good to release money without monitoring how it's been spent.
There's is no Nigerian that understands how the system works, that will be surprised with something like this, in Nigeria when people are been given an office or a role to play with money entrusted in their hands, it will be difficult for them not to betray such trust, I'm glad to see that action has been taken, anyone that's careful enough will understand that something was actually not right with the super falcon's loss, however, hope this won't end in just eye service.

What you said is true because the nonchalant of the federal government regarding the money is the reason why is being misused because they already no that when the NFF is being giving an amount that's too huge they will change the purpose of it but they were not concerned about how it will be spent, they have also done the same thing on the super eagles because after they said to have allocated money to them the players will still not receive their allowances. This is a very good development in my opinion because when I heard that the NFF sanctioned Super Falcons crew members I was actually angry because they can't act like they are saints, why punishing other people for the same crime they are committing. It's been a long time since we have been hearing of the harsh conditions that the NFF has kept the National teams. Now the problem is can they really get to the bottom of this case? I don't don't find it exciting when our Anti corruption agencies launch investigation in any public sector especially the big ones. They will do initial gra gra to push the headline on major papers to tell Nigerians they are doing their job but what happen later? You will not hear further updates regarding the case again. I don't know if authority is always the one that intervene and ask them to drop the case, or the agency intentionally drop the case because they can not find further helpful information or the sector they're investigating offer them bribe to drop the case. This probe has been overdue. There have been reports of a high rate of corruption in the NFF, and it seems the statutory agencies have been turning a blind eye to these allegations. Players who sacrifice to represent the country are owed wages, while the government has released funds. I am pleased that this corrupt institution will be investigated. My problem is that the EFCC is also corrupt. I will not be surprised if money changes hands and the case is swept under the carpet.

Very laughable that the EFCC, the master's script player's of corrupt practices finally swinged into action against NFF. Maybe the NFF has failed to remit their own quota of the loot hence they swinging into action to secure their portion before the loot is carted away.
I doubt of there would be any outcome on this investigation they had claimed to carry out. This corrupt practices has been on for quite a long time before now that they should have come in but corruption wouldn't allow them think straightforward. The source of the news is not enough for me to believe that this news is legitimate yet. I know that the NFF have been misappropriating fund for a long time now and needed to be probe. EFCC and ICPC will do a good job to prove them but I doubt if this news is true. Sahara reporters have been found wanting of sharing fake news several times in the past and this has really affected them unless that they’re an anti-party of the current government. Some news coming from them are very confidential but true, but they also use that to misinform people if they have a bad and fake news about the government.

However, i'm so happy that economic and financial crime commission have stepped in to investigate the NFF to know how they have been spending the money being allocated for the well-being of Nigeria football. If the economic and financial crime commission can discharge their duties without taking bribe, the NFF will pay for all the bad things they have been doing.

This is a good step to help clean up the corruptions in the NFF that had been piling up for years without anything being done to know how those big criminals are embezzling the funds that was given to them to take care of footballers warfare.

Due to the high rate of criminality in goverment I doubt if their denial was genuine. I always want them to investigate how NFF officials collect bribes from players before giving them the chance to play in the national team. There are claims that some players were dropped because they refused to give bribes.

To be sincere, Nigeria needs to do better in terms of management of players or talents that we have, upcoming talents will not be interested in participating and representing their country if such a good continue in our industries, Many players are just playing for the sake of their country not even for the money or rewards they will receive but because they love their motherland and want to do well to represent their country, embezzling their money or rewards will not encourage them to do well, if we are sincere with ourselves. The situation we have in Nigeria now is that when Nigeria and another country offer an average young person in Nigeria a job or opportunity, many people will tend to go abroad regardless of the situation or conditions because we now believe that our country will not reward us well for our talent. Such a thing needs to stop.
