Finally, the right authorities have gotten time to investigate the NFF, this should have been done long ago, they always embarass us the fans and the nation at large whenever players come to the public and clomplain over allowances, we used to feel like the players are exagerting the thing always, but this last concluded female tournament exposed them completely, the places our Nigeria players are staying is usually not conducive, the NFF and any body involved in the walfare of the players should be investigted because their actions is affecting our players performance.

I am happy that the government has decided to investigate. I hope they don't also have hand in this because everything is possible. I wish they could also manage some corruption going on in terms of player selection to represent the super eagles of Nigeria in all tournament so that the talented players will have the opportunity to play for their country.

Those that mean well for Nigerian football will definitely see this as a very good move by the government, because it seems we are just joking around with everything, I just hope the law enforcement Agencies will do their job very well without being compromised as usual, we are in a country' where people conscience can be bought with money, just imagine how our football has now become  a thing to worry about, corruption is now something that Nigerians no longer see as anything just because we have people whose main purpose of looking for appointments is to steal money meant for very important things.

This investigation should not be biased, infact anyone find guilty after the investigation is done should be sent to prison, for other to learn, but doubt if that could be done.

This is a very good development in my opinion because when I heard that the NFF sanctioned Super Falcons crew members I was actually angry because they can't act like they are saints, why punishing other people for the same crime they are committing. It's been a long time since we have been hearing of the harsh conditions that the NFF has kept the National teams. Now the problem is can they really get to the bottom of this case? I don't don't find it exciting when our Anti corruption agencies launch investigation in any public sector especially the big ones. They will do initial gra gra to push the headline on major papers to tell Nigerians they are doing their job but what happen later? You will not hear further updates regarding the case again. I don't know if authority is always the one that intervene and ask them to drop the case, or the agency intentionally drop the case because they can not find further helpful information or the sector they're investigating offer them bribe to drop the case. Very laughable that the EFCC, the master's script player's of corrupt practices finally swinged into action against NFF. Maybe the NFF has failed to remit their own quota of the loot hence they swinging into action to secure their portion before the loot is carted away.

The source of the news is not enough for me to believe that this news is legitimate yet. I know that the NFF have been misappropriating fund for a long time now and needed to be probe. EFCC and ICPC will do a good job to prove them but I doubt if this news is true. Sahara reporters have been found wanting of sharing fake news several times in the past and this has really affected them unless that they’re an anti-party of the current government. This is a welcome development to the Nigerian football, but probing how the funds went and taking actions against these corrupt officials are two different things. If decisive action can be taken against any of them that are found wanting, it will really deter the new ones that will be coming in from embezzling money meant to structure Nigerian football.

One problem we have in this country is that not even a single person has gone to prison after embezzling funds meant for other things, but if anyone can be used as a scape goat, the actions of this corrupt officials and narrative will change very fast.

This is literally unbelievable. So you mean the Nigerian football federation actually receive N12billion Naira that is yet to be accounted for? Because this shows the high level of corruption among those put in place of spare heading the affairs of the Football federation.  And I'm have the Economic Financial Crime Commission have just been instructed to investigate this case and bring all those who are responsible in the embezzlement of this money to justice. Because with such high amount, it definitely would have gone a long way in sustaining our local leagues, since most of the players of our International leagues plays in Europe and they are all financially bouyant, compare to those playing our local league. NFF has been a contributing factor to our failure all the time, it is one of the reasons why today our democracy is in shambles. Why many occasions, our teams have failed us even when we least expected, it’s among the reason why we cannot boast of the super eagles any longer. It is unfortunate to see government being a saboteur to our development across all boards, in the political scene and even in the sports sector across all other industries. Today, if you take a glance at all we have done as a country or have been doing, you will notice it has always been one failure or the other and it is all linked to the poor representation or welfarism of the government towards its people. If you are a player, you will be paid a peanut to come represent the country and even such peanuts are delayed or not paid at all. No any serious extra benefits to motivate the players etcetera and you expect a good outcome?

Agbe sadly, I don’t think the NFF is in anyway bothered about those anti corruption agencies because they know that in the end nothing is going to happen anyone. No one will resign, be fired, sent to jail or anything. This is probably going to die a natural death and we will soon back to blaming the coaches and the players. You’ll see it just watch out.
