These triggers me to ask a question, can a super star win match alone? The answer is no. Definitely the influence of a super star is real much more when he fully personally cooperates with the others and the others in healthy personal cooperation with him also outside the football field. The team can't handle itself as if without this super star no winning will ever happen, doing that means losing before ever going into the football field.

I had almost forgotten about this thread. I placed a modest parlay I call it modest because I didn't wager the amount I usually do; I normally place parlays with stakes of $10, $20, $30, or $40. But this time, due to a typo, I bet $2 instead of $10. To make matters worse, Congo is already winning 2–0, so I can no longer cancel the bet. Here are the games in my parlay:

It's funny in the last match, I bet on my country losing to Senegal. To my great surprise, my country played very well against Senegal, and the game ended in a draw. So, for this match, I'm betting on the "Mozambique or Draw" Double Chance market. The odds for this outcome are @1.16, while the odds for a Sudan win are @4.60. Sudan beat Ethiopia in a match where they scored just one goal and conceded none.

I heard on my country's news channels that the Sudan players arrived on different flights and only got here today, even though the match is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon; they won't be able to sleep well and won't have time to train before the game. I am not going to criticise majority of our continental teams openly, what I will say might be criticism but to me it's a firm of question. You talked about the players coming from different European teams, likewise most nations in Europe these players plays for different teams but when they come together for their national teams, they are more organised and play as a team than our African teams. Morocco for instance is one African team that is making us proud, most of their players play for different clubs but they are able to come together and play better as a team. What then is the problem with most of our teams in Africa, sometimes when you watch Africans football, you will easily fall asleep due to it's boringness. Why can we not play as an organized team, I'm sure apart from when our country is playing, we prefer to watch Nations League than our qualification match that's going on at the same time.

I would not completely disagree with you because you have a strong point as to the selection issue and the coaching making a good selection but on the issue of the combination regarding the players coming from different European countries is not a yardstick for their poor performances. Their poor performance can be as a result of the players not motivated enough to perform to the best of their abilities or the squad’s said best selection is not good enough to deliver which I might not also want to completely agree with such. Coming from a diverse European clubs is completely unacceptable for their failure because other national teams face similar diversity but have rather used it to an advantage and not to a disadvantage of their overall performance and success as a team.

It was rescheduled not cancelled, the venue was changed from where it was supposed to be played at Botswana to Tunisia. The game is currently going on.

It is Half time now, the score is 1-1. Bostwana scored the first goal in the game close to half tie but could not secure it as they allowed Tunisia to score back 6 minutes later. Tunisia should not allow the home advantage to a waste.

The coach is doing a great job with the rotation of players. He is not laying his foundation on players that are in top clubs in Europe. I like how he manages the players and see that he brings out the best in all of them. When people complain about the national team players, I can't help but laugh at them. Who else is missing from this team? The coach uses players who are available and would want to die for the country on the pitch, not the ones who feel they are better than the team.

It's a shame if the Super Eagles are not good enough to win or play a beautiful football because we see how well they perform in their clubs and that’s why people always have high expectations that they could do better for the country, but I don’t know why they play entirely different football when they come to represent Nigeria.

If you check the players playing in elite European leagues, the Super Eagles have more of them than any other African country. So it doesn't make sense to keep seeing these disgusting performances from them. Look at how Senegal and Morocco are playing, honestly to me their matches are more entertaining than Super Eagles games.

Sure, our expectations will be alway high due to the way these guys play in their respective leagues. They will do well, scoring goals, but when it comes to their country, they struggle to win against weak teams. I didn’t expect Nigeria to concede a goal in their last game, I thought that would be a game where they would scored more goals and top the table, but they only scored two goals and concede one. They need to do better or they will lose their chance to win AFCON again next year.

Ivory Coast, Senegal and Morocco are the best teams so far playing well in this tournament. Their performance looks more entertaining than the Nigeria with a lot of quality players. Lookman is struggling with his performance this season, I don’t think he get any assists in any game for his club this season. So, I am not expecting much from him.

This is where we would have used a mixture of both domestic players and league foreign base players, because you will observe that the energy of the local players are always higher than that of the foreign based players, this was what we use to have in time past, but this current coaches especially this guy we have now, he just goes to Europe scout the Nigerian players that are playing in top European clubs and select them to come and play most of this competition, sometimes they don't even have enough time to blend to know themselves, they are just asked to go in and do their thing. There are several good local base players, at least a few of them can be selected, we need those guys energy.

Are you sure that Zimbabwe was given 52 odds, i doubt this except if it was a live bet after DR Congo has already scored 2 goals. Congo is stronger than Zimbabwe but I was having a mixed feeling if they can win because I was afraid of Zimbabwe getting a comeback just as they did in their last match but Congo didn't give them that opportunity. The way odds do increases heavily during a live bet is just amazing because I'm just imagining that 52 odds. I have won a single live bet, the odd was about 25 and I just said if it fails no problem but to my greatest surprise it came out winning.

Nigeria is probably the strongest team in the African Cup of Nations League group they are in because in my opinion, among the other teams in this group, only Nigerian players play for the best clubs in the world. Nigeria team has trained players so maybe they have a chance to win all the matches as they have already secured victory against Madagascar team but we can see that they will face Guinea Bissau in their second match.

If they can win this game they will probably top the table in the group but this team had a bit of a poor performance in the first match so hopefully they will start to dominate from the start against Guinea Bissau, to be honest Guinea-Bissau is a somewhat experienced team because they were able to defeat Tanzania 2-0 in the first match of the group stage, which led them to lead the points table.

I don't really blame them that much because, from all indications, those guys lack tactical identity, there is no clear structure to their playing style in the national team. When these guys are in their respective clubs in Europe, they play in a very organized system where every movement is well mapped out perfectly. But the moment they come down to the national team, the tactics look disjointed and it forces them to rely on individual magic jsut like their match against Madagascar, where George Ilenikhena and Usor came to rescue.

This game is going to be a tough game as the two teams are currently at the top of the table. It's going to be tough and being a game away from home, fans influence could be massive. But I still believe the super eagles will win and top the table.
