It is actually well deserved because the fact that nothing was disclosed, no one expected Kane to have won it, and the funny thing is, different people think it was going to be Yamal or even Mbappe, and I won't even lie my mind did not even go towards Kane winning it, and everyone was happy when Kane was called out for the title, and it was an amazing moment, and everyone actually celebrated him, and even till now the celebration continues, and once again congratulations to him.

Believe me that even if they had given it to kelian Mbappe or lamine Yamal, it would still have been fair enough because both the three of them attains the requirement of a ballon d’or winner. Almost everyone across the footballing world is quite happy for Harry Kane for winning the Ballo D'or and that seriously speaks a lot about his character. The guy has spent a good number of years just doing what he is paid for without causing any drama, just scoring goals. He avoids scandals and hardly gives messy or controversial interviews and just focuses on his craft, which is scoring beautiful and decisive goals. Very surprising. I just keep wondering why they keep finding way for Messi at  the top. I will say his only impressive performance was at the world cup and that shouldn't be reason he is at top 5. He played well at the world cup but there is also Olise who performed well at the world cup as well and gave a very good performance at club football last season too, so at least I think he should be sitting above Messi.

Because UEFA and FIFA both love Messi, that's why. Yes, of course the Ballon d'Or went to a worthy person. This was a guy who was the best player in Bundesliga last season and also had the highest assist in his league and even in the World Cup and his in number 9 what a fuck.

Exactly. It was delayed because there were many good players to give the award among all one must supercede and Harry Kane received the award. Congratulations to him. One thing we have to know in football. There are some teams a player would join that they can't excel from there though they are doing well but the best wouldn't come out and we have players like that in Manchester United and Chelsea and once they join another teams, they will perform well and win awards from there.

A big to Harry Kame for winning this year's Ballon D'or title. Because despite the fact that Harry Kane did play exceedingly well this year and scoring a total of over 73 goals in 65 match appearances. I thought maybe Football politics will play its effect this year by rigging it to either Kylian Mbappe or Lamine Yamal. But i'm happy this year's own was very transparent and the reward given to the well deserved player of the year. Because with is award now, it will be making it the first time FC Bayern Munich player is winning this title since last 45years when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge won the last Ballon D'or title in 1980 & 1981 as a Bayern Munich player. Yep he is very appropriate because since the beginning of the debate in this thread was always referring to Kane and Lamine but Mbappe is in second position I think it is still very appropriate and Lamine in 3rd position.

Maybe for the World Cup he failed to reach the final but his achievements as an individual at club and national team level, especially in terms of goals, Kane is so superior that he deserves the ballon d'or this season.

The only thing I notice is that Leo can still be in 5th place. Not to be underestimated because I know Leo is one of the goats and managed to bring Argentina back to the final but being in 5th place was a surprise for me with his age and performance that is not his prime.

This is a huge win for Harry Kane. It almost seemed as though his time was coming to an end without trophies to show for it and his transfer to play under Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich changed all that. With just the right set of players that understands his play, values him on the pitch and are able to get the ball to him, he only keeps getting better and better. It’s a well deserved award for sure.

I heard Lamine Yamal’s uncle was complaining over the media as though Yamal was robbed because he was young and there was no player like Yamal. I suppose that’s right but, no one like Yamal and there is no one like Kane but, surely Kane is the best bet here.
