Ho Ho Ho BTC

my S3+'s

i used

d=160 or d=256
but got rejects with
d=512

I think philipma1957 had analysed compatibility between s3 and mmpool and he came to the conclusion that you can run 9 x S3 and it would stand up straight

any more than 9 and there are rejects. I'm not sure how he managed to figure it out but he's rarely wrong, so I'd take it as read.

I had 10 s-3's

on the ninth one the miner won't start at all not even go to the other rollover pools.

work arounds are have 2 accounts on mmpool.org  you can then do 7 + 3  in my case that was fine.

I set password at d=400  all worked well but that number can be played with
 /
d= 256
d= 300
d= 400
d= 440

Just do not  do

 d=500  or higher

I mined my s-3's at

 freq 231 237 243

hash rates were 460 to 495

I used d = 400  since it was under  all of my hashrates.
