just leave it be if you don't have a password yet or to be safe, encrypt it with a password then in console type:

walletpassphrase yourpassword 9999999 true

be sure to push ctrl+L or click little minus sign to clear the log so no one sees your password.

How do we unlock the wallet?

First encrypt your wallet for your security.

Settings -> Encrypt wallet

Of course, don't lose your passphrase or you will to lose all the coins in your wallet.

Then go to Help -> Debug window -> Console
Then type: walletpassphrase {your passphrase here} 9999999 true

Then you are ready to keep mining in POS

I got the runtime error from the .conf file.   Got rid of it and no more runtime error.

Yea this worked for me too. Pretty bad coding though (particularly considering how long it took to come up with the new wallet) that we have to do this.

What pools do in the PoS stage?

well a multipool will mine another coin in the PoW stage, sell the coins that are mined for BTC, and then buy whatever coin the multipool is setup for. in this case the multipool buys whitecoin. then it pays out the miners. it's a way to mine a coin that is already done with PoW and it keeps the price of the coin up.

This is what I understand, but there are single pools with some miners and minimal hashrate.
Is it because of an old broken wallet with PoW is still in use on these pools?

I have found the answer on one of this pools. It is about securing WC blockchain until the wallet is fixed. ;-)

Well, i have several interest. I obviously don t buy just WC. I had a lot of AC too but i sold everything already.

WC are by far my biggest investment. Hope you are not confused anymore. I own other coins too by the way. So that you will not be confused to read me in other thread

Consider exchange wallet as your private wallet for the time of deposit/withdrawal lock.
You need WC? Sell BTC and hold WC in the exchanges wallet.

You need to transfer WC from one exchange into another? Sell WC, buy BTC, dogecoin whatever. Transfer BTC, dogecoin whatever to other exchange, buy WC there. Easy.


No price pump will occur. Why should dat happen after unlocking deposits/withdrawals? Hype's over. Proceed to a next coin dat will be hyped. Hypes are the only opportunity to make some money.

It's a bit of a lul across the board at the moment. Whitecoin will be next market darling if it gets it's act together before next weekend. One thing is for sure, the twitter pumpers are looking like real ass clowns this week, revealing they don't do shit except blow hot air - lost respect for all of them except as rhetoric entertainment. Money is coming from somewhere else.


More likely, rich uni (IT) students trading together in a fraternity. Solid communication and good source of BTC. I've seen similar crowds trading together with BTC. They will be chatting, skyping, Irc/forum browsing etc on 3 monitors each. The guys that put those 30btc buys in minutes after a good news update. Then people like most of us here scramble for a spot up the tree. The best way to make the cash dollaz is to buy in these lul periods - you just gotta have balls and faith
