We need more information where we r going now? Should we just wait the new wallet to start pos and then everything is ok? Or is there something else Huh

BTC goes down, everything goes down.

It's not about the wallet, it's about free market.

Price is stable for more than 5 days, isn't that enough?

EDIT: *3 days

I did not create this update, and neither did mindfox. I have since quit the Whitecoin team due to numerous instances of the foundation and development teams not keeping their promise of transparency. In order to understand what happened from my point of view as a developer, you should read these two pastebin links:

http://pastebin.com/WHHTtWus <-- me explaining why I am quitting in #whitecoinfoundation
http://pastebin.com/DvCWj3ey <-- me explaining to the public my side of the story after #whitecoinfoundation was muted and people were unable to talk. from #whitecoindebate.

I am no longer involved with the development or technical advising of Whitecoin or the Whitecoin Foundation. Do not say that I am spreading FUD unless you read those two pastebin links fully and understand what happened to me and to others.

If you would like to tip me for my time and work, here are my donation addresses:
WC --> WgnHMALk5yL1uW9xNgfhkMPwrG4xUSAKkP
BTC --> 1LFM7921gbn2dukFTLwMNqj57mNW1A5C46

I will probably not be replying to messages in this forum about what happened, as BitcoinTalk discussion tends to devolve into mud slinging fairly quickly. I will be available throughout the day in #whitecoindebate on Freenode IRC to answer questions.

Thank you,
tf2honeybadger

EDIT: I almost forgot to add this in! This is the output of listtransaction from MintPal's WC Daemon after the double spend attack: http://pastebin.com/djaaFuBm
It was originally set to expire in 2 weeks, but that is far too quick for such a core bruise to the blockchain.

I remember correctly you said yesterday on IRC that you no longer involved in Whitecoin, so please stay away from us & no beggin for BTC/WC donation in our thread please

Sorry, I haven't been following enough. Are you guys gonna have a  PR team of sorts? Coders alone won't make it rain crypto riches. Smiley

With POS starting in the next few hours and the price hovering at around 700, I wonder what time the buying will start and the sellers will start to hold...

Right now, the charts just looks like a bunch of day traders trying to outwit each other.  They'll be sorry when they get stuck holding BTC instead of WC when that buying begins...

That guy didn't know what he was doing.  Probably why mogonzo got a second team involved.  Best decision ever.

That other, second dev team had a working product, tested and everything, in one day!  I was in IRC when tf2 was beta testing (with lots of errors) and Mogonzo showed up and said, "we're done.  The second team did it."   TF2 flipped a lid.   It was sad to watch him fall apart.   He had known he had failed...

I'm pissed at the first guy, tf2, who clearly didn't know what he was doing...   telling us "today" over and over.

Good work  Mogonzo.   Seriously,  that was exactly what you needed to do...

Hey everyone,

We've hit the ground running today. Lots on the go. But before I get into anything, I just want to thank everyone for the amazing support through such a difficult time. We got through this as a team, all of us. And I firmly believe this is just the beginning of what our community can accompli8sh.

Here's a brief update:

1. We are carefully examining what happened to asiacoin, at this time, we see no direct threat to whitecoin but will release a more detailed report of our findings.

2. As we shift away from crisis mode, I have proposed a detailed plan on how the transition team can begin the process of formalizing our structure. A report will follow soon on this as well.

3. We are also preparing to begin fundraising once staking begins and major exchanges reopen their wallets. A detailed proposal on how the community can fundraise will also follow. We will be taking careful measures to ensure all funds raised are carefully protected, and spent according to an accountable and transparent structure.

Thanks again,

Chris

U guys really need to really thank this guy for taking on this coin or else WC would be SOL. Good job mogonzo. If it wasn't for you I would have dumped my bag and never bought again. Keep up the great work and thank you.

Exactly same story. I m not OK with all the decisions but mogonzo had a very difficult time and he took the best decision with this second team. Hopefully we will let all this behind us once we ve seen that everything works as expected.

We have to go forward with a plan and the next steps.

To help noobs like me:

The console is under "Help" and the message at the bottom, "Minting is suspended due to locked wallet." will go away after a couple of minutes, after entering the command  Smiley
