mogonzo and everyone in whitecoin is from chunkypools. they switched the whitecoin network to their control effectively centralizing the whole currency.

these are the same people who lost 2 million doge in feburary. see reddit

you are entrusting everything in their hands. and btw the new artwork and website is horrible. you all should dump as soon as you can. this is never going to the moon or any other planet except maybe uranus.

now you can never say u werent warned.

I tend to agree with this guy.

Looking at the reddit post, I thought they were very transparent, apologized and even got a lot of the doge back.   That's not a negative.  Mistakes happen and they fixed it and carried on.    They did it very professionally as well, not expecting 100% of the over-payments to be returned.

"They switched the whitecoin network to their control" is not exactly true.   The DNS Node is on chunkypools, but that does not allow them to control anything differently.  It needed to live somewhere.   I've confirmed with MintPal and Cryptsy that they asked for that.  They also confirmed that this was requested for added security.

As for the artwork and website, they are a work in progress.

Hey everyone, just to keep you all informed because I see it's now leaked into the AsiaCoin thread.... heh....

So I've received numerous requests from the AsiaCoin community for help and support from myself and the whitecoin foundation. Naturally, I told them I have my hands a bit full right now. However, throughout the conversation an idea did get floated:

Concept: WhiteCoin was saved and revived because of a community rallying that went outside its own community and into the world at large of crypto. In many ways, we owe a debt to our larger community. But we also owe existing debts to the individuals who helped us save WhiteCoin.

Proposed compromised: I suggested, that if a bounty were gathered by the AsiaCoin community and donated to the WhiteCoin Foundation (specifically to pay our team for work done to date), that it would then be something worth considering in WhiteCoin's best interest.

To make things clear: This is only a proposal. I'd like everyone's opinion on this.

And to be very specific, I would not be taking the lead of AsiaCoin. I would offer them my knowledge and instruction on how to organize as we have, in exchange for a donation to our community. This in the end would not take much of my time at all, because I'd be taking from existing material to help teach them:

- How to properly rally a community
- The different between begin a leader and a pr rep
- Instruction on how to operate a team with a democratic consensus based approach
- Instruction on how to independently verify the work of strangers you don't know over the internet Smiley

To make clear again, if we did this, I would not be taking on a leadership role in AsiaCoin.

I look forward to your thoughts, and thanks very much.

Chris

fuck those AC guys, let that shit scam coin die. Focus on getting chunky tip top and trading and paying in WC.

AC scum were fudding the hell of of WC before it became apparent our 0,75% premine was nothing to their 1000% premine lol

Let AC perish like it deserves.  I even have 150k of that crap left over.

AC were the main haters of WC.... now they come begging...hehe no way waste time helping that scam get back on its feet.

The original WC dev was just a fool, who sold his coins cheap and couldn't even code POS in. AC dev was a flat out scammer, think how many BTC he sucked out of the market already that shit stain.

+1
fuck those AC guys, let that shit scam coin die.

Though I wrote this to for a personal response to a fellow BitForum memember I also posted it on This public Forum some pages back.

I received an email from CleanBaldy asking me to come back to the Forum and take part, so I will repost the piece I wrote to explain Staking as it also contains my take on the recent goings-on with White Coin'

I am continually checking these Forums but as a true "Newbie" I stay in 'Watch and Learn" mode while making only brief statements or asking questions. The IRC channel has been most helpful to me and it seems there's always one of the 'Foundation Guys" online who promptly address questions.

The only suggestion I have is the "Foundation " and it's members might be best served by having a "Foundation Approved" person monitoring the IRC message board 24/7.

Here's my previous Post.

WC was the 2nd coin I mined with the souped up gaming rig I had built by a local Computer Repair Out fit. Young guys (25) the oldest. I added another GPU to get the Hash/R up some'
Anyway I only had a rudimentary understanding of BTC.

WC has been great for me for learnig because it's been through the ringer and survived attacks, spam, and failures. The Crypto World seemed to decide enough of the Bad guy, spammers, lets save this coin and show people open source can work despite profiteers, scammers, and thieves. I really think the WC story if honestly told is a seminal moment fro Crypto. There R several posts in forums explaining it. The guys to believe R Mogonzo, Mindfox, Crypto West, and a few others

I was following WC closley and was online on the saturday it was supposed to stake and didn't. The orginal Dev had designed it for a quick hit scam, sold the pre-mine he lied about, and the code was poorly written and couldn't stake.

Mogonso and others banned together, convinced people WC could be saved if people aimed their Hash at Chuckypools multipool  (To make a long story Short). MintPal was partcullarly helpful.

They got an updated wallet out, secured the Block Chain and it now Stakes perfectly
Here is what I know about how it works.

The PoW phase is over. The block reward is now just 10. I'm not sure but in the PoW phase I think it was 1,200/Block. The MultiPool on Chunky has 3 options for mining each a different level of risk. The various coins mined by the MP are then sold with the proceeds used to BUY WC on the open market and then distributed to the pool members. The idea is to support the price with steady BUY pressure.

As for staking. This I know. Staking only became possible after the updated wallet was released.
You should encrpt your wallet and unlock it for the best security but leaving it open and unlocked is better for net work performance.
When coins (they R time stamped when minted and with each transaction) get into you wallet they will begin to stake after a certain number of blocks R completed. The idea of staking in 24 hours is an approximation of how long it will take to solve those blocks.( I have not been able to find out the number of blocks that must be solved before the product of the "Staking" is sent to the Holders of the Stake Coins.)

When the Proceeds arrive in your wallet (IT's happened 6 times to me) the amount of coins you recieved will appear in the Transaction column lead by the crossed/picks mining symblol.

The # of staked coins the incoming deposit was gleaned from is subtracted from your Balance and shows up in "Stake" balance. Stake + Balance = previous total + incoming transaction.

The Stake coins have been newly minted and need to be confirmed, The initial amount of coins listed next to the Mining Symbol are in light type. When they R confirmed the go bold and the corresonding number of coins in the Staking folder are returned to the Balance. Only the coins in "Balance" can be spent, withdrawn, or transferred.

That's my understanding. I'm working daily to get up to speed on all this Cryoto "Stuff"
The ingenuity of MR. Satoshi is beyond compehension. The system will work. To work to it's highest potential "TRUST" is essential. Quick-Buck artists and thieves R a reality in  life. Will the good guys or the bad guys win? It's up to us the Crypto Community. The White Coin Foundation saved this coin and set the bar for what needs to, and can be done if Crypto is to reach the High vision  of Mr. Satoshi.

If wallet is encrypted, how would I unencrypt it if I wanted? I'm not talking about unlocking.
