Zipkin poserko Grin
Check how you brothers do it
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/team
And how a complete miner ready to rock should look like

Can you see a difference between your crap and a product designed by real engineers  Grin

http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp10-dawson-june-batch
Take a look at shipping terms also Grin
That is how real business works ! With real experienced people involved
Heads down to these guys !
You should be ashamed poserko  Grin

Sigh....   I guess we are just stuck with a lawsuit to get our money back.

AMT track record is beyond salvaging now.

I think poserko to Zipkin playas different game.
He is not that stupid to fraud fedex
What he does is
1. He hammers the crap first
2. He declares low value of the crap to avoid check on pickup so nobody knows it is intentionally broken

That is his game
Guy's
Please put some light here.
Those of you who got something smashed. What vas the usd value of the shipment declared from Zipkin
Was it insured?

15 x 15 x 15 box... signature not required... 10lbs.

Don't know if it was insured.  However, definitely more than 10 lbs since in included the power supply.

The unit appears to have been damaged during shipment.  All the bits and pieces of the broken fan were in the package.  The box was damaged when recieved.  I doubt Fedex would have accepted the box if it was damaged.  Also,  Fedex likely was unaware of the lack of adequate packing.

I think more like negligence and incompetence happening here than fraud.

The fact that I did not even receive a backplane tells you how sloppy these folks really are.

AMT,
If you're 1.2 TH miners are not working, do you have any "functional" lower hash units that we can substitute these units for? For example 3 of your 520 units? Or some other combination?

What about package value
Here in eu when you ship something you need to declare it's value on pickup. It is clearly wring int the papers which you got on delivery

Right now,  I have resorted to begging Bitmine (not AMT) to send me a backplane.

No package value information.

Anyway, I am not sure if AMT has become so desperate as to commit shipping insurance fraud.   I have not be notified by Fedex as to the condition of the package.   I've kept the package and bits and pieces of the fan.

I did check.  There is no information on insurance and value of the package.

I definitely think AMT was genuine in wanting to ship a working unit.  Unfortunately, they are very inexperienced and ship the unit in a package that had nothing between the unit and the box to pad.   I have shipped a lot of hardware on eBay,  I would never ship something this heavy with so little padding.

Going to keep the box in case I need to show the court how negligent the company has been.

IDLE FOR 1 WEEK!

7 days x $40/day = $280 in lost revenues.

That does not even include the the shipment that is 2 months late!

Because AMT forgets to send me a back plane and ships me damaged units.

Support from AMT is so bad  that they aren't responsive enough to send me a replacement!

Not sure what you mean.   The package did not require a signature,  so it was just left beside the door.

Yes, you do need to declare the value, but I don't see the declared value on the tracking # they sent.

I mean that amt are the ones who tell fedex to require signature
Common practice when one sends 6 k equipment is
1. Require signature
2 declare package value 6 k
3 insure it
4 require inspection check from you on delivery

But they missed this parts why?
Something is not right for sure.....

They ordered Antec cases, which i'm sure arrived in quite a bit of protective packaging. They could of used that as an example on how they should ship their miners.

I'm sorry that these guys are so stupid they don't know how to properly package and ship a loaded computer case. If they can't ship a miner correctly, what makes you think they have the sense to develop their own bleeding edge technology?

I agree entirely here.   Not only did they not package it correctly,  they forgot a crucial part.

I am still stuck a week later with a miner that I can't power on because I don't have a backplane!

A long time ago, I asked why the original Case boxes were not saved/used, I believe they were thrown away, not sure.
Back then ciara or someone was going to do the packing/shipping for them.
Fed-ex UPS ect automatically insures up to 100.00 if you do not ask for more.
Sig costs extra, and some people do not like it as it makes em "be home" and wait for packages. they are at work and just want it dropped off. (low crime areas.)

Not everyone saves everything like me Smiley

You are right dude. But I will not stop to ask my self how then hide so good the value of the package and why?
For instance if you ship something with fedex you need to fill the value on pickup?
Is that how it works?

Not sure what you mean.   The package did not require a signature,  so it was just left beside the door.

Yes, you do need to declare the value, but I don't see the declared value on the tracking # they sent.

I mean that amt are the ones who tell fedex to require signature
Common practice when one sends 6 k equipment is
1. Require signature
2 declare package value 6 k
3 insure it
4 require inspection check from you on delivery

But they missed this parts why?
Something is not right for sure.....

AMT, FedEx will come after you for fraud. It's not bad enough you defrauded your customers, now you are trying to defraud FedEx, incredible. FedEx will bury you. I can't wait for CoinDesk to report Joshua Zipkin, Jim Brown, and Alyssa ... hauled off to prison for Insurance fraud. We can all kiss our money goodbye because AMT is going to wind up in Prison for wire fraud and insurance fraud when all of this is said and done.

I am orders 580 and 650. Here is their claim to me that they sent me 2 DIY miners when they really only sent me 1 DIY.

When I called them just now they still did not have a new tracking number for the second box, but they will send me one by the end of today. I have reached out to them every single day of this week. Hopefully we will get it today. You can call them yourself if you'd like.

Look at the dimensions, weight, and number of packages on the tracking of their delivery. Who would you believe? FedEx or AMT?

AMT is going to prison folks.

Wonder if there is GPIO/USB shield for the RasP that is availablei? That could be used to feed  a 5-port hub ta feed the blades. Then we just need to figure out the pinouts feeding the blades to match. Assuming that those are only usb & associated power that is... <facepalm>

The RasPi has an AMT circuit board that is attached to it where I presume the backplane is connected to it.

Oh man... I also need that cable that connects the AMT board to the backplane!

$#&*(&*   damn AMT!  Can't even get support to supply me with all the *&$#(&%* missing pieces.

Fortunately GPIO cables are standard fare and cheap. just search 'GPIO cable'.
This is getting pretty sad...

I'm poking around the A1 developers thread looking to see what we need to drive the blades. Good place there to start is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294235.msg4815054#msg4815054

Have already found that a program called Hexminer http://technobit.eu/index.php?id_product=53&controller=product&id_lang=1 can be used to com with the blades via pc/'ux. good start.
