CryptoNote has appeal because of security and anonymity. Let's not be so naive to believe, as so many other fledgling coin communities are, that this coin will succeed simply because we want it to. Satoshi wasn't that naive. He put bitcoin the world and the world responded with a resounding "yes, we are interested in this."  The world is likewise responding to CN, for specific reasons.

Does BBR have ease of use? Yes

Why the fuck wouldn't you promote this? You're going to keep quiet about it? You're a marketing guy?

I never said it trumped anything, I'm saying that BBR is the whole package, EVERYTHING for EVERYONE, but you are actively trying to put people off. You should promote the whole fucking thing to whoever might be interested - that's day one marketing school... remember?

Cipher actually does sound pretty good.

I have never been particularly fond of boolberry as a name. In fact, I think it is one of the most ridiculous sounding names of any crypto. I also don't quite see why there is an aversion to using -coin/note/whatever after the coin name either. CipherNote ... BooleanNote... <pretty much anything at all>coin/note, sounds better than Boolberry does.

I think CZ had a flash of inspiration, I know I sound difficult, but boolberry seems unbeatable in every way.

Any kind of forced rebranding for no good reason (which is what is happening here) can only cast uncertainty - there's far more chance of it going wrong than it making some huge beneficial difference.

As for the SEO thing, if you fuck that up your listing disappears down a black hole - there's no appealing that fucker.

Personally love boolberry. I dont think the name reflects what the coin does, but that's why I love it. It is almost like a cover for what it is. Can you imagine law enforcement having to hold press conferences about fighting the outbreak of boolberry use?

I vote no against rune. It doesn't feel right, and marketing is all about feeling. Dark is the best marketing word to date because it makes you feel like a badass. Rune makes me want to give wedgies.

I think we are losing focus here, Tech comes 1st 2nd and 3rd in the big list of what is important. I'd love to see this many contributed suggestions to improve implement new tech, its obvious that a lot of people have

spent time and effort thinking about the re-branding issue. I don't like some of names put forward but so what, big deal it doesn't give me the right to belittle the person who suggested it. I encourage everyone to

suggest there choice of name, and ask everyone else to respect there effort in doing so. A simple +1 or -1 is a fair and valid response instead of some rant declaring the poster is some kind of mental midget.

My suggestion was Aardvark..... which would a least be great fun on speak like a Pirate day, if nothing else. So come on lets start looking and acting like a community of mature adults who exchange ideas without

resorting to name calling and other childish behavior, they still have school yards for that. Respect yourself respect others.

I think your last 50 posts have been about how you like Boolberry. It is pretty obvious that you like Boolberry. Please give it a rest and do not stifle opinions. It was cute the first 48 times. Last couple of times are just about making me root against Boolberry and I am not particularly against the name.

Do you realize that some of the biggest BBR holders are letting the emotions flow freely when they could be the ones threatening to dump and leave?
