There's nothing wrong with eating meat! This is the culture we were born into! I was born into eating meat, everyone I know eats meat, I've eaten meat for a majority of my life! Plus you see all these strong guys posting bacon videos on youtube, that's the real MANLY THING TO DO!! Why should I go against what culture teaches me? I was taught to be religious to worship the Lord and I know it is not right to ever think about why I believe in certain things or why I do things a certain why. It is the way I was taught, it is what everyone else does, so it is therefore the right thing to do! Why should I try anything new?! Seriously animals have no rights in this world! They are just like slaves to us, for us to kill and torture as much as we want! Who cares if they are suffering and crying and making squealing noises while bleeding all over the place? That is sooo funny!! Just kidding. I actually used to eat meat for a majority of my life. Then one day I was like, hmm, maybe I should try this new vegan thing... What happened? Wow. What happened. Let's see, wow. Everything great happened. Nothing bad at all happened, every single thing improved in my entire life. I feel so energized when I wake up in the morning no grogginess at all, I actually run a few miles every morning when I wake up now and I don't walk a single time. Throughout the day I don't feel tired at all. Even though I used to have afternoon slumps, I'm just like, come on let's do something fun. I also found out that the food tasted much better than before. I thought that fried chicken, Sushi or General Tso chicken was unavailable to people that don't eat meat like Vegans, but I found out every meat you can eat, there is a vegetable substitute that tastes exactly like it: Pictured above: No meat. Tastes better than meat. Cheaper to buy and create than meat. Much healthier and makes me feel so much better than when I used to eat meat. If you don't believe me look up some Vegan or Vegetarian restaurants in your area and try out one of those places. Fantastic! Overall one of the best decisions I have ever made in my entire life. Period. Also, yes, I have been been eating meat for a majority of my life in case you think I was raised to not eat meat or something. I also found out some of the most influential people in the world one day chose to stop eating meat for good: Albert Einstein, Mike Tyson, Steve Jobs, Paul McCartney, Ellen Degeneres, Gandhi, Thomas Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, etc. Anyway, easily one of the most life changing decisions in my entire life. It is an awesome life to live by the way. No lack of energy, improvement of mood, nutrition, everything, more money in my pockets. Tell me why it is wrong to eat meat now? "I ate, like, the tiniest piece of meat, and I woke up violently sick. It was vicious pain. I was throwing up. And I realized meat's become a poison for me now." - Mike Tyson

Yeah I guess she doesn't quite belong in the same category of greatness as the other people on there in terms of cultural impact so I changed her up with Ellen Degeneres.

it depends from person to person.
I tried the vegan crap for 6 months and felt terrible. I was weak, no energy and fatigued. I also found myself craving for junk food. So called Tofu meat subs are horrible for the most part.
I then discovered the Paleo diet a few months ago, best thing happened to me. You get to eat pretty much everything except certain carbs such as breads (you can still eat carbs just not all) Paleo is the perfect food lifestyle. My health improved drastically, weight is losing slowly but surely. You should also try to eat organic as much as you can (if possible) and eat more fish than red meat.
Most Vegans i know look horrible, your face gets sucked in and you don't look yourself. There is also ZERO evidence that vegans live better or longer, infact recent research says vegans live shorter than normal eating people and suffer the same cancer rates. There is now more evidence that SeaFood eating populations live the healthiest and longest

I don't believe you man, simple as that. I've been doing this diet for more than 6 months and have not experienced anything bad. Every morning is just a brand new day, a fresh new start full of energy and refreshment. So freakin' awesome. Most Vegans i know look horrible, your face gets sucked in and you don't look yourself.
True story: Before I went into this diet, I thought every sick looking person was a Vegan or Vegetarian or something. Honestly, I saw some sick looking guy who lived on my floor and I was like, that guy has got to be some sort of vegetable eater. Pale, skinny, sickly looking. We talked sometime here and then, and then when I became a vegan, I talked to him again. I was like, hey are you a vegan? He was like "Real men eat meat!" LOLOL. What a shock that was to me! I actually tried to teach him about it but he just kept telling me how eating meat was what real men did. I honestly thought that guy was a vegan to be completely honest. Honestly, I walked around seeing him pale, skinny, sickly looking and thought he must have not eaten meat. I was like "Too much vegetable man? I think you should try eating a hamburger every now and then." There is also ZERO evidence that vegans live better or longer, infact recent research says vegans live shorter than normal eating people and suffer the same cancer rates.
How? I feel way better than ever before from personal experience. This so true in my case. Honestly man, right before I came here to see how the thread was doing I was jumping around while watching TV doing some kicks, punching around, I also ran around the hallways for a while. And this morning I jogged for around thirty minutes and was covered with sweat all over. Also there's plenty of evidence that support why vegans feel so much better every day if you just look online. Oh yeah I also take a multivitamin every day that contains Vitamin B12. That is also necessary if you want more energy, were you taking multivtamins that had Vitamin b12 everyday? I take it everyday and feel great! That's what you were probably missing. Multivitamins everyday! There is also ZERO evidence that vegans live better or longer, infact recent research says vegans live shorter than normal eating people and suffer the same cancer rates. There is now more evidence that SeaFood eating populations live the healthiest and longest

I found three sources right here! If you don't look at them or ignore them, well of course that is zero evidence for you! But in reality, they are out there! Also the largest animals in the world are vegetarian including Elephants and Giraffes. So the myth that you need meat to become huge... Is a lie! https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110217003159AAI6E2m"My family has historically been vegan, especially on my dad's side (I'm vegan too). My great grandfather on my dad's side was 6'5", my grandad is 6'4" (on both sides actually), and my dad is 6'2". My mom is 6', and I'm 6'3"."

You can get all you need from plants and such. There's plenty of protein in other non-animal products, and as above there's plenty of vegan and veggie bodybuilders.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat. Some people think it is wrong how the meat is raised, but that is understandable.

If humans all convert to vegans it will deplete the land fertility and all the unkilled animals will cause massive environmental disaster. Look at India its a hell hole where cows and all kinds of animals shit on your doorstep

It is up to the people to decide whether they want to eat meat or not. Anyway... humans have been eating meat for tens of thousands of years now. And even now, there are hunter-gatherer societies who consume almost no vegetables or cereals. There may be some health benefits. But what is the point in living 2 more years, if you don't enjoy your life for 78 years?

I used to go to fast food places, order Popeyes, I used to buy meat for groceries, I used to cook meat for every meal, I put turkey inside of the oven, all that good stuff so I know how both sides work. I know what meat taste like, I've eaten Whoppers, big macs, steak, all of that stuff for the majority of my life and never questioned anything different. But honestly, these vegetable substitutes taste so much better man. So much better. I've taken a few friends to these restaurants and they honestly couldn't tell they were eating food that had no meat in them. I cook some vegetable meat substitutes at home now too, they taste just as delicious if not better than before. Plus I feel so much better about everything in life. I feel like I can think so much more quickly, that my body is more agile than ever before, and that I'm stronger than ever before too. Every aspect just improved. So let's have a more open mind okay instead of saying everything that's you don't do is unacceptable. "To produce 1 lb. of feedlot beef requires 7 lbs. of feed grain, which takes 7,000 lbs. of water to grow." "Pass up one hamburger, and you'll save as much water as you save by taking 40 showers with a low-flow nozzle." "Yet in the U.S., 70% of all the wheat, corn and other grain produced goes to feeding herds of livestock." "Around the world, as more water is diverted to raising pigs and chickens instead of producing crops for direct consumption, millions of wells are going dry." "India, China, North Africa and the U.S. are all running freshwater deficits, pumping more from their aquifers than rain can replenish. As populations in water-scarce regions continue to expand, governments will inevitably act to cut these deficits by shifting water to grow food, not feed." "In the U.S., livestock now produce 130 times as much waste as people do." " Just one hog farm in Utah, for example, produces more sewage than the city of Los Angeles." "These megafarms are proliferating, and in populous areas their waste is tainting drinking water." - Ed Sayres, Time.com

They produce more because of the sheer amount we raise and breed. Killing them doesn't help if we continue to farm them this way. It's not really sustainable either.

Dude you don't even know any vegans! XD There are so few of us it's like you can go your entire life without meeting one. Plus there are weak voices in both sides of the diet. Does this guy have a weak voice? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFB2rXrlFgUSee how he loves life man. He loves life and honestly he tells very similar stories to me about how becoming vegan changed his life and improved every aspect of it. He used to make fun of vegetarians and used to be chubby! FYI as you were eating grass that lacks nutrients and posting PETA pics of animals with pacifiers and virgin tree huggers, I spent the weekend in Utah near salt lake, and I watched 3 organically fed chickens get slaughtered and bleed to death infornt of me. Never felt better
You can never get the same with grass
Yeah as a kid my uncle owned a big farm, still does actually, lots of pigs in cages, and some live chickens roaming around here and there. It smelled disgusting, lots of feces on the floor, and one time he asked me to hold these piglets as he cut off their tail or something with scissors. Each time they would squeal and make sickening noises trying to get away while I stared at them blank in the face. This was really early in my life and I still didn't think anything was wrong with eating meat. Sometimes he would grab a chicken and get the maid or servant to put it on a stump and lump it's head off. Really sick whenever I saw that... It was really sick now that I think about it. Next time I visit I'll tell him about it and maybe he'll change his mind about what he's been doing all these years. Yeah so no, I never felt this good when I was eating meat. Does every day feel awesome for you? Like, do you want to get up in the morning and run around? Eating meat is a really boring thing to do, don't you think? It's so plain and boring by itself. Really most of the great taste comes from the plants like ketchup, spices, sugars, etc, otherwise it tastes really stale and boring. That's why it's so easy to cook up vegan food that tastes exactly like how meat does. Also if you want to try out becoming vegan, I suggest adding a multivitamin to your diet that you take everyday, make sure it has Vitamin B12 and add grounded flaxseed to your daily diet as well.
