No, but pettily gloating about it is in an attempt to rile vegans and veggies. This goes back to proving my point I made a few posts back in this thread.

I did not gloat. I had breakfast at the time, which was primarily meat, nothing wrong with that.

And no, there's nothing wrong with that but this isn't a what you had for breakfast thread is it? You're posting in a thread that is trying to show you the benefits of not eating meat, so you're gloating as well as being childish.

Wow dude, I don't know where to begin. Why do you keep talking about things that have nothing to do with the health benefits of meat (e.g. The Dalai Lama fraud issue, which by the way I'm familiar with and know those claims are ridiculously absurd)? That does nothing to support your case and everything to suggest that perhaps you're the brainwashed one here. Meat is good for you. I know this from experience, from scientific literature, and from common sense. Then add the fact that it's so damn TASTY, like fruit, and like complex carbohydrates like potatoes and yams and such. The reason things are tasty is because they contain lots of energy. Nature has this lovely way of making foods full of energy taste good, and the things we shouldn't eat taste god awful. Vegetables are tolerable, but hardly tasty all on their own unless you add other tasty things. Why? Because vegetables contain such low amounts of energy that you have to spend hours preparing and eating them! Why not just eat a steak and get 500-1000 calories in a much faster, tastier way? I eat almost zero vegetables and am in the best shape of my life (have pictures to prove it). And, I don't clear a room every time I take a few steps watch out, he'll quote him selfs a dozen of times of post he copied from the Internet to try and convince you the vegetarians are better any way than other people. Yet Statically speaking people that have a balanced nutrition (including meat) are way more relevant and had more achievement not matter how many vegetarian exception (that use vitamine and or other nutrient complements extracted from meat or chemically made to balance their food)

Yes, I have many reasons to gloat to random strangers who I care so much about; I'm also a 5 year old child. Thread title: What's wrong with eating meat? This isn't the same. Why not make a Vegan Discussion thread and have fun?

This isn't the same. You got the whole thread wrong, same as many others. There's only one person that's got this thread wrong and it isn't me. Edit. I see you edited your post. Back-tracking now, eh? You're gloating. And no, there's nothing wrong with that but this isn't a what you had for breakfast thread is it? And I have no desire to make a vegan discussion thread, but you seem to like making off topic comments in one.

Not read through the thread and only throwing in my 2c on the title. Personally I think meat is an important part of our diet because its part of our evolution but the conditions and methods of meat production has significantly reduced the amount of meat I eat. Several years ago a poll of UK school children asked where meat came from and over 50% chose "factories" instead of "animals", imho there's something seriously wrong there.
Ignorance is bliss but it's not exactly like we're going to educate kids on how there food is produced or where it comes from. Most adults don't even know or care either.

I'm fixing up my posts. Too hungover, mistakes happen. Message OP and see for yourself. I don't think that he was interested in reading walls of text about Vegans. Acting indeed.

I'm not sure there's figures on this and I'm also not sure it's just a question of this specific person does or does not eat meat therefore they're better than person x or y who doesnt etc.

Possibly. My situation is weird. I love meat, and it is easier for me to make than a salad, but when I start eating vegetables, I can't get enough. I love their taste and know that they are healthy.

Also if you look at top sportsman and Olympic winners, you don't see many 100% pure vegetarian, I've been saying this from the beginning, it's all about nutrition balance, at the top sport level, the detail of balance is made by the milligram especially during preparation and during an event

Some people need to eat meat for the protein, otherwise we'd have to get our protein from taking more pills. Animals eat other animals, It's just a part of life.
Protein doesn't just come from meat. Animals rape and murder each other as well, so is rape an murder ok too? Yes,but the proteins from meat are better for human body. And if you don't like meat doesn't mean you have to judge the meat eaters. If you want to rape and murder is your option,i choose to meat eat not to rape and murder!
